I think, it depends what you are looking for. In Manhattan there are a lot of very professional girls. These girls are more agressiv in "marketing" and they also will take as much as they can and than run back to the next customer. If you look for a professional service of a working girl, this is what you look for and what you get. Here it can be a good deal to take a sauna session instead. If you prefer a girlfriend experience, you will have nearly no chance in the sauna, but still in a pickup area. GFE-sounds as if you look at this the same way I try to. Many of the posters on here seem to think all it takes for a GFE is a girl who will do, DFK-BBBJ-CIM-AR, etc, etc. To me, this does make for good service but not true GFE. Now I don't think you are EVER going to get a "real" GFE without a "real" GF, but you can get the service and what feels more GFE. This is as in not quite so professional and mechanical, but with enthusiasm and passion. I can't seem to get it through my head that if you are number XXX for the day or night that she can have any GFE left for you-all you can hope for is decent services-and you are just a walking wallet. I am an older guy, don't quite look my age, but tend to get what I consider (and it varies person to person) a GFE most of the time. I am not sure how often you would get that in the more commercial places or cities, but tend to think it is most prevalent in the less mongered areas. I normally go to KTV's, either alone or with friends, and believe that the GFE comes with getting to know the girl just a little bit better and that you are there to have fun and want her to have fun also-IE; , you actually care about how she feels and the build up to a good night of passion is possible.

That's not been my experience at all; I've had good to exceptional service from the half dozen or so Shanghai pickups I've had the pleasure of enjoying over the past couple of visits.

Yes, one has to be careful with their selection of talent from Manhattan, but with every visit there I was able to pull a GFE for LT fun. Last time I had a viet girl really eager to please. Had her for three nights.

For their security they will usually only give the street address of their building complex, you have to call their mobile when you arrive at the gate to get details of building and room number. They tend to have very little patience at this stage. I've had several hang up when I asked them to confirm the room number, I think they're not very happy to have a foreign customer anyway, so any difficulty is enough reason for them to stop it. I've also found that different girls will work shifts on the same QQ number, so even if you were accepted on your QQ chat a few hours before, the actual girl "on duty" when you arrive may not agree to it. So you're out on the street in the cold again!

Last weeks girl was smart enough to put the SMS questions in the QQ translator and text me the floor and room number back. You were lucky. Very few will communicate by text until they've spoken to you live on the phone. I've also been asked to send a photo or video chat of me or my passport, so they can check out that I'm a real foreigner, and how gruesome! As I reported a few months ago I've not found the QQ experience to be as good as it sounds. I'm still looking for the gem who's worth going back to a second time. I've wasted so much time wandering round Putuo and Xuhui (where many of the apparently beautiful QQ girls seems to be based) , I'm now limiting my search to Huangpu and Pudong so it's a shorter taxi ride home when it doesn't work out!

Unless you can speak, type, and understand Chinese, I don't recommend QQ. Firstly most pictures are fake. Secondly service level is not consistent. Thirdly it's a lot of work because they are usually on first come first serve schedule. I had waited for over an hour. Fourthly not safe. Once I got into physical fight. Lastly price not much cheaper than full service sauna.

No, YuPing is not the same as 999, but it is the same owners (as with Hongsong and I think Hailang, and the one out by Marriott Hongqiao).

I went to YuPing probably a month ago and it was still good, although I prefer the girls at hongsong. Yuping still has the best ear digging girls in my opinion.

Nope, I am European and don't speak any word Chinese.

In the QQ app you can translate from English to Chinese to chat with the girl. She will do vice versa and it works perfectly.

The last part is most tricky and you will fail most of the time. As they will only point you to an address without giving their room number (in case of hotel) or apartment number you'll end up in the cold.

One solution is to use QQ on your mobile and get final details through your phone. But roaming data charges are high so I did not do so.

Evidently I suck at using QQ. I don't know how to get it to translate. Is it only for your PC or will it work over your iphone also? I am a member on QQi but am currently back in the US and won't be needing it until June when I get back to China. I hope by then I'll have it figured out! I do keep getting these "matches" on my PC and have tried to send a couple of emails but don't know if I am doing it correctly. I saw where someone on the forum had mentioned that they used QQ and wee able to filter the contacts in some way. I also assume that a contact who is interested in someone 18 to 80 is (maybe) a WG? Are there any other hints that can be picked up on? Anyone who wants to offer some advice would be greatly appreciated.
