Although, I just found you guys yesterday.
I'll offer you a worthy bribe. Brazilian style.
I'll stick up a report on how I fucked four 21-25 yo non pro chicks in Rio and got pretty close with 2 others, but didn't get the lay, simply because, they wanted me to put in too much time, which I couldn't be bothered with. On top of that. I'll chuck in for the same price. A report on my 2 visits, one to Centaurus and the other at barbarella ipanema. And got lotsa action for free too.
And you'll give me the all the juicy details of this dark city.
Deal?

Hiya all.
I arrived here few days ago, after spending 2 months in Rio. I was wondering if someone could sum up the sex options here in the city, pro's and non pro's. I've been putting in the time in online gaming and picking up some nice girls in Rio and here too, but I can't say these are exactly the type I'm looking for, cinnamon skin and big butts.
So, I wonder what are the options in terms of meeting local women.
I also would not mind at all meeting up with fellow mongers to hit the beaches & clubs etc.
I'm here taking a course in Portuguese, I already understand quite a bit, however, I speak quite a little, so there is defo room for improvement there.
Feel free to give me a shout.

As mentioned previously I would check out Bambara which I did.
This is a normal bar / casa de show which is diveded into 2 sides, the stage side and the ocean side.
Most girls sitting (alone) at the ocean side are garotas de programma (freelancers).
All people sitting at the stage side are regular customers, however you can get lucky here as well.
40 BRL taxi ride from Porto de Barra. 22. 25 BRL from Rio Vermelho.
If you go before 21:00, the Bandeira 1 fee still applies.
Since this is a normal family place the girls are not allowed to approach you or to come to your table.
However they will try to make eye contact and if you see anything you like, you will have to walk over to her / their respective table (s).
If you find someone of your liking and would like to leave together, the expectation is that you pick up her bill also (this is negotiable of course like everything else)
Prices are negotiable and can be anything between 150 and 500 BRL depending on the girl, the day, your negotiation skills and the time you would like her to spend with you.
The number of girls per night varies from 10 to 40. 50, there are some stunners, and several doable girls, and ugly girls too.
Sunday and Monday are quite, Tuesday. Friday appears to be the best nights in terms of number of girls. Saturdays and Fridays the place is packed.
Most if not all do not speak English and most customers are Brazilian.
There are a couple of motels around the corner. 6 BRL taxi fee to get there.
Live music every night, and the food is also reasonable. Good.
Lots Brazilians are dancing the night away.
Entrance / music fee is 15. 17 BRL depending on the night.
If you want to see / check out a girl first instead of ordering them online, this is a cheaper option compared to VIP or Elite.
Having said that, most girls working in Elite or VIP are happy to provide you with their phone numbers during the first encounter and to meet the next day outside the club in order for you to avoid entrance and exit fees.
Prices for those girls also vary, but you should be able to get an all nighter for 150. 250 BRL, depending on the girl, the day, your negotiation skills and the time you would like her to spend with you.
The entrance fee for both VIP and Elite are 50. 60 BRL, and the exit fee is approximately 70 BRL.
A beer will costs you 15 BRL plus 10% optional service fee.
The streetwalkers in Pelourinho and Porto de Barra are in my opinion not at all worth even looking at.
Enjoy.

Posts: 1Girl Friendly Places during Confedration Cup
I'm glad a found this site! Thanks for all the great information and reports.
I'm looking for a girl friendly hotel or pousada to stay during the Confederation Cup. Any suggestions?
I'm not driving so would prefer a place that I can find the ladies, restaurants, etc within walking distance or a short cab ride away.
Thanks for the help.

Salvador is very much streched out and the taxi-fare will kill you. A rental car is much better. Get your GPS with a Brazilian map loaded up.

Do not exchange money at the airport. Or at least only enough to pay for your taxi to the hotel. The airport exchange is a total rip-off!
At the center in Salvador you find several exchange offices which will give you a decent exchange-rate. You have to shop around a little bit. Also in the souvenier-shops in the center near the cathedral they change your money for a good or better rate than the dolleiros.

I am going to Salvador for a couple of weeks and have been preparing myself by coming to this forum. I have only have one question. Are there certain places that any of you recommend to exchange dollars for reals? I have read suggestions of exchanging at the airport but since I am going for an extended stay, I might have to exchange large amounts.

Posts: 648thanks for update sperto. as usual your detail on locations is impecable.
i know you warned me to go to rio instead of salvador, and you were right. i was 2 weeks in rio and had amazing time. salvador, by comparison, is not my style (so far). now back in salvador, and wishing i was still in rio. terapeutas, termas, sambodromo, ensaios. that was intense. oh well, live and learn.
perhaps if i lived in salvador things would be better, as the scene here is just not well organized for visitor. and transportation within the city is either expensive taxi or bus. i think theguyty will write up a post on bus system, he was a fan. this brings me to my major point. if i had chance to do it again, i would probably choose to stay in rio vermelho or further east, pituba, boca do rio, armacao, itapua etc. for me, there is no advantage to barra, and there are some disadvantages.
-night life in barra is not all that. rio vermelho better.
-beaches are not all that (crowded, and honestly, the crowd is not attractive). atlantic beaches better.
-barra doesn't benefit from the atlantic breeze, so feels hotter than atlantic.
-zero mongering opps within barra itself, aside from trash that is completely off my radar.
-love motels are all on atlantic strip. most gps are also over there. convenient to other locations, inconvenient to barra.
-traffic jams up in barra. leaving or coming is just lost time.
just my 2 cents for future visitors.

Posts: 4057Morro de São Paulo, update.
Morro de São Paulo, a short update:
GENERAL:
* Very few brazilian tourists. Foreign tourists are mainly from Argentina and some from Chile.
* Morro is getting even more expensive.
* Boat from Salvador cost R$75 in high season. Boat from Valenca is cheaper. Flights from Salvador.
* Pousada prices: From R$80 for a nice room, in high season. Not all pousadas allow visits.
* Beautiful beaches and good snorkeling.
* Party: Different places depending on the day of the week. Beach party at 2:nd beach, beach party at Funny, party at Teatro, Toca or Pulsar.
GIRLS:
1. Local girls, non-pro´s. It still easy to score local black girls.
2. Brazilian tourist girls. Very few of them.
3. Foreign girls. Mostly argentinians girls. Some sexy ones, but they seems hard to flirt with compared to brazilian girls.
4. Pro's. Less pro´s than it used to be. Some got married etc. I could only spot 6 pro´s. Two cute ones. Asked for R$100, but I didn´t try them out.
CONCLUSION:
Don´t go to Morro for mongering. Bring a girl from Salvador or go for the local girls.
