I'll be heading over next week to SD this will be my second visit, was looking forward to visiting some of the casa's till this new law came out has the goverment closed any yet? Or would it be safe to go to them?

So far all that I know open. Spoke to some in Pacos and Ejecutivo, alls is well

Street walkers seem to be less in la feria (churchil at malecon) but few in the area before km 12.

A girl at ejecutivo told me prosecutor Brito use to visit there and he had to have all lights turned off when he entered and went straigh up to the rooms.

Jao is a great guy but is a bit sensitive. He dishes out and takes a lot of crap. He is the most knowledgeable guy on the site. His contributions are the very best and he a decent caring person. I do not always agree with him but I always respect him.

He emailed me completely out of the blue while I was in Medellin to tell me he was in Haiti and the DR. He sent me some photos and videos of both places and I sent him photos and videos I took while in Medellin. I'm sure he'll be back.

Me and him don't agree on a lot of things, but there is no argument that he is one of the most generous guys when it comes to info about SD and the DR in general.

if you read my report carefully, i said i grabbed all the loose change that i could find to give her, and that only totaled 145 pesos. i then looked into my wallet for more pesos. there was none. and inadvertently exposed my greenback which led her to ask for more. i sensed that this sw exploits human weakness, which i displayed when i told her to stop and promised to pay her for 5 seconds of service."stupid" would be to unconditionally give in to whatever demand, and she would just keep escalating the extortion amount. pride? obviously i have very little since i was (tied to) getting a bj in a car, on the side of the road from a sw.

I will say I know less than anybody. There are no Cubans. The military can't be involved because people who are not military say they are owners. Girls on the Conde are not hooking because they carry notebooks and say they are students. And there are no casas in Santo Domingo because they were shut down in 2004 in the cracdown.

He gives information that none of us like to do at times, car rental prices, hotels in La Romania. You never know when this information might help you. I like to read the good the bad and anything else on the board. Again, you all can read my posts I know I mess up, but I have no problem telling you all my mistakes. I just try my best.

Take the blinders off please. You give Jao a complete pass, and forget all the people that he has trashed. I guess you feel because he gives good intel that he can shit on people?

No one said Jao doesn't give good information, but he tends to exaggerate some points. As you see from some of the posts below, SD has new tricks to keep even the vets guessing.

I agree. I know more about the SD casas than I can ever tell. GBP was set up for Dominicans, not gringos. The casas contribute more than their fair share. The casas aren't going anywhere for now. But as Gasque grows as a gringo retirement spot, maybe the casas might relocate.

you are right. in addition, if she had already been all over junior then the law was already broken. if he would have just got finished off instead of getting spooked then it would have been water under the bridge. but of course hindsight is 20/20. what he did was like robbing a bank but not leaving with the money. they are going to lock you up anyway.
