Posts: 2I just arrived in Salvador from Rio for another 4 days and I can tell a lot of beautiful negras locals. In Rio there were more mixed then here. But it's not as busy as Rio and I miss that. We are staying in Rio Vermelho and I have read it's the best place to be. Traffic is a be* so taxi will be expensive and the new reports haven't been great unless you know your Portuguese. Maybe I can find a few hours by myself and check things other user have recommended out.

I am disappointed to hear of how the scene is Salvador has declined in recent years. Salvador was the first city in Brazil in which I mongered in 1998. I had good success with Acompanhantes ads in the local papers. I returned several times while the exchange rate was great. My last trip to Salvador was in 2006 during the WC. There was decent action in the large number of strip clubs at that time. I was disappointed to see unfinished construction projects such as the metro.
I am hoping to make a trip this fall. I can't believe that P4 P has really gone away. The economy in Brazil has fallen off in the past year and their central bank is keeping interest rates high to avoid a free fall in the currency exchange rate. Lots of women are hurting financially and should be willing to trade sex for some cash. My suspicion (and hope) is that they are just being more discreet due to the WC and the Olympics.

Hi all,
Wc a month away, what's the scene in Salvador?
Learning some Portuguese as sperto feels it will be tough for a 1st timer like me to get by without knowing any.
Finally got through to gpguia and even after google translate it is not easy to follow since lot of slang is used.
I hope there is a smoother way to get action there mates!
Please revert.
So far Morganas is where I plan to head as recommended!
Thanks

First time in Brazil and no Portuguese, Morganas might be a bit harsh as a first privê. Still I think you should try it, there is nothing to loose.
On the local forum, Gpguia, there are lots of reviews of escorts. Maybe a bit pricy, but might be a good alternative for you.

I am staying in Rio Vermelho close to the beach. Any recommendation in that area?
Also I am visiting for the 1st time to Brazil and don't know Portuguese nor Spanish at all.
If these is just 1 place I should go would you say it would be Morganas.
I suppose finding independents who do in calls would be very difficult.
Thanks again.

Posts: 4057Salvador some updates, January 2014.
Daytime privês in Centro:
* EDIFICIO SANTA RITA: Av Sete de Setembro 184, all privées are closed.
* MORGANAS MASSAGEM
- Rua 21 de Abril 40.
# Note 1: The street is quite easy to find. Get off the bus at Relogio Sao Pedro (Largo São Pedro). The street is full of street stands. There is no number on the entrance. Number 40 is on the right hand between two lanchonettes. The entrance is like a white hall with white stairs. In the hall you´ll see adhesive from Morganas Massagem. It´s on the fourth floor (top floor), sala 401.
# Note 2: They charge R$50/30 minutes. CBJ, BBBJ cost R$10 extra, some girls have anal included.
# Note 3: The cabins are nice and big. Clean sheets. Most cabins have cadeira erotica. Shower before and after.
# Note 4: Twelve girls working. The standard has gone down even more since last year. This year I only sessioned with two girls this far. The girls change often so it´s worth a visit, but don´t have to high expectations. If the best girls are occupied you might have to come back later.
# Note 5: The presentation of the girls is not like in the privées in Rio where the girls come in one by one, smiles and kiss you on the cheek. In Morganas all the available girls comes in together and stands in a halfcircle waiting for you to make your choice. All staring at you, some with a smile and others with a bored expression.
# Recommendations:
- Sheila. 20 years, negra, cute, no kids, very firm tits that stands right out, slim, nice legs and an incredibly ass. Her ass is extremely well-shaped, not very big, round like two footballs and among the hardest asses I ever felt. Good session but a bit mechanical. Definitely worth trying if you want a classic black bahiana.
- Bruna. 21 years, morena clara, 1 kid, large a bit soft tits, a few extra kilos and quite a big and hard butt. Quite good session, more enthusiastic than her colleague.
* OTHER PUTEIROS IN CENTRO:
There are actually quite a few bars and puteiros in centro, e.g Cidade baixa and a bunch of suspect clubs on Rua Carlos Gomes. I´ve been in a bunch but none not really worth mentioning. Today I was heading down to Cidade Baixa. Instead of taking the Elevador Lacerda I went by the ladeira. In the beginning of the ladeira, on the left side, is a puteiro. A bunch of fat girls, but also one very slim and cute girl. I was in a hurry so I didn´t check the prices. Note: The ladeira is considered dangerous so avoid it at nighttime.
OTHER MONGERING.
* Pelourinho: Pelo is very dead nowadays. A bunch of ugly hardcore streetwalkers.
* Porto da Barra: Very dead as well. Just a few nasty drugaddicts.
* Barra: Same thing, also dead.
* The Orla: I don´t monger in the Orla but there are a bunch of overpriced stripclubs.
NON-PRO´S.
The mongering scene in Salvador is very bad compared to how it used to be. However in Salvador you´ll see lots of stunners, non-pro girls. Both dark chocolate and light-skinned girls. It takes some work and preferably language skills but it´s worth it. Try the beaches, shopping centers, restaurants, bars or the streets.

You can see my reports from salvador jan 2013. Not sure how copa will affect p4p scene, it was weak to begin with. I would focus on enjoying the football atmosphere. If you go to barra plan to stay in barra, getting in and out sucks. I personally would probably shoot for Rio Vermelho as a base.

I am a board member with mostly Canadian and German intel. I am hoping I can get some insight in World Cup options. I was awarded tickets for Salvador and I am now thinking about diversions during the week. I have read the thread, but I am wondering if anyone has thoughts on how things will change during the World Cup? Will opportunities pick up in Barra? Will women travel in for the matches, or is it safe to assume most will flock to Rio and Sao Paulo.
I am trying to choose a location, and it seems like Barra isn't the best option for diversions, but could be good just for the trip.
My main question is do these posts hold up during major events (Carnival, New Year's) or should I assume a different vibe / scene?
Thanks in advance.

I am here and arrived with low expectations.
Good vibe at the beach, lots of happy locals.
I read the forum back two years and it sounds pretty grim but is ok as I come with touristy frame of.
Mind.
However I would not mind some action even if only once daily. Unlike Rio where is everywhere any time.
Anyone around who can give me some guidance in exchange for free drinks. Hahah.
Is that bar (forget name) that is pumping on mondays only a thing of the past aka shut down?
I humbly request fresh info.
I will make a quickie report of Rio on my return home. VM was fun!

Just to avoid misunderstanding. The first elevator leads to "Santa Rita", where all the puteiros were closed in January. The second elevator in the back leads to "Santa Rita Anexo", where sala 501 and 303 are located. So both of them are gone? What a shame. It was expected as they closed down all the other puteiros in that building.
There are plenty of other privês in Salvador, but they are spread out over the city.
