Is there a scam associated with trying to have a child by a white guy? Seems crazy they would do it just to have a kid.

This applies to the foreigner who is single:

Many of the foreigners married to Indonesian domestic helpers in HK got married because the girl got pregnant (on purpose). That's the easiest way for the girl to get our of her misery as DH, have a decent life and have a more comfortable life instead of returning to the bushes in Indonesia. Mind you that there are a few marriages because of genuine love but those are only the exceptions.

And this applies to the already married foreigner:

The other scam is to report being pregnant and ask for the money for an abortion which most of the married men are willing to provide to avoid the trouble with the wife. Best way out of it is to be very concerned about the pregnant girl and to invite her to visit the gyn together for the ultrasound. Oops, just the morning of the appointment with the gyn suddenly the period has returned (smile). I speak from experience on a couple of occasions!

I don't know about a scam but a number have had babies to white men. And some have remained single. They like the idea of their baby having a western passport and they possibly getting one.

But the bigger picture is that it is more common for indonesians not to use condoms. Dh ate the worrst in hk. Full time working indos are more likely to use condoms, but not all.

Older men have no problem in asia. And if you are only talking about punting, older men do well in all countries. And older men tend to be more respectful to ladies.

I'm in my forties, decent looking, fun (some would say "game") and in decent shape. When traveling in Asia, I still occasionally get the look from flirty Asian girls on the street or in malls, but not as much as ten plus years ago. Just curious, if it's worth the time and effort to try to score a freebie.

I am nearing 63 and had to change my SIM card last February because I was getting more phone calls and SMS than there are hours in the day. My sexual battery is still fully charged, but needs a little more recharging time between sorties than it did a few years ago. If you treat them like a lady, your age will not be a factor. So many of the sweet Domestic Helper friends of mine would never ask me for money. I find that discreetly supplementing their meager salary endears them but listening to them and actually understanding their situation and being a good companion really keeps them coming. (No pun intended).
