If I was a Brazilian, I'd be rioting too if my taxes were being spent on such foolishness at the expense of education, health care, sanitation, etc.
Brazil has 50 billionaires and 150, 000 millionaires. They're not rioting. The majority of them are rubbing shoulders with us at Centaurus, etc.

    Mongers-

Went to 4x4 today (Friday 21 June) for first time (had been to Centaurus and L'uomo several times) and was very satisfied and impressed with the talent on offer. About 40+ girls on offer ranging from thin beautiful white spinners to humongous roided up cows (and everything in between). Entrance free R$ 50, one hour in small cabine R$ 280, so R$ 330 without drinks for an hour in the sack (exchange rate paid on Amex Plat today $1USD = R$ 2. 23). Sessioned with a girl named Luana who claimed to be 25 and had a full ass and nice big silicone tits. Solid BBBJ, took a real pounding, very nice fuck overall. After relaxing, working out at Body Tech, and dinner stopped by Balcony to check it out; overall the place is disgusting and is mainly populated with nasty crack*****s. There are a few diamonds in the rough prowling around but the place is generally not worth a look IMO. Today (Saturday 22 June) I will check out Centaurus for the first time in almost four years and report back.

    Suerte,

    San Paulo. World Expo 2020

For third-world countries, it's even worse. Just look at what happened to Greece and South Africa. Then consider what these events do to our mongering life! Drive up prices, police crackdowns.

Thank God the Philippines and Thailand have no plans to host.
In addition to the World Cup and the Olympics, the mayor of San Paulo was in Paris at the outbreak of the current uprising to promote his city as the host for the 2020 World Expo. The cost to host the World Expo in San Paulo was estimated at $3 BILLION dollars ($9 BILLION if you include the cost of transportation infrastructure). If I was a Brazilian, I'd be rioting too if my taxes were being spent on such foolishness at the expense of education, health care, sanitation, etc.

The Confederations Cup is going on right now! It's not as well known or as prestigious as the World Cup. It's considered a "warm-up" to the World Cup as it's almost always hosted the year before by the same country as the World Cup is. But most of the countries invited to it take it pretty seriously (Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Italy, Uruguay, Japan, etc.)

It seems to me she's right. Only the wealthiest countries in the world should be splurging on sports extravaganzas like the World Cup and the Olympics. In Brazil, that money could be better spent improving the lives and conditions of their citizens. And indeed, this is what Brazil must do if it truly wants to go from "emerging" to "arrived". I've been concerned that Brazil will embarrass itself over these huge events (like India did with the Commonwealth Games). They've already got an embarrassing situation on their hands, and the first match is still a year away!

    So so night in Rio!

I went to Terma Monte Carlo to take advantage of my "700 points". They told me I only had 322, which was wrong. The last time I was there in 2011 I forgot to use them. The girl at the desk acted bitchy and I told her to fuck her and Monte Carlo. I left and took the Metro to centro. Got to centro and there were a major crowd and demonstrations through out centro.

502 I had a great girl named Ballentine, great BBBJ, but could take my dick up her ass after she said completa. She had a nice trainer body.

1 hour with girl. 1 beer and entrance fee. 205 reais.

The demonstration turned to riots, after I left 502 last night I got caught up in the riots. Metro shut down, and buses and taxis were unavailable. Got tear gased. It took me 3 hours to find an empty cab to Copacabana. Police were in full force. I saw some crazy looting, destruction and fires.

    First Day in Rio

I arrived in Rio yesterday morning. By the time I settled down in my hotel, it was 2 PM. Since it's my first day with several to go and tired from the overnight flight, I decided to go to Av. Rio Branco 156. I went to Bel Prazer, Sala 2114, to look for the tall blond Duda as recommended by a monger. She wasn't there. There were only 2 average looking girls available so I left. Next I went to Centro Suzy, Sala 1839, but again only 2 average looking girls. Finally I went to Duda Massagem, Sala 3320. The mamasan who answered the door spoke perfect English and was very courteous and patient. I asked for Poliana (also recommended by a monger). As I was waiting for her, mamasan asked me how much time I wanted. She said prices have gone up (again) and 40 minutes is now R$130 and 60 minutes is R$150. I paid for 1 hour. A long-black-haired girl appeared. I thought Poliana was blond (later I checked my notes and found out I was wrong) so I said she was not the one. The mamasan asked all the girls to come out one-by-one. There were about 7-8. I was hesitant so she started to refund my money. Then I decided it was better to take one girl here than to walk all over the building again. I chose Adriana, a blond, slightly heavy girl. She was very nice, kissed passionately, BBBJ, DATY, etc. She stayed the whole hour.

As I came out of the building, I saw many groups of people carrying banners, posters and placards. I thought they were soccer fans. After a little more observation, I realized they were not. They came from different directions but merged into one long parade. They marched up Rua Uruguaiana toward Av. Presidente Vargas. I joined them. They were very friendly and peaceful. When we got to Av. Presidente Vargas, the parade stopped and stayed there. But I could see more groups approaching for every direction. By now it was about 6 pm and getting dark. The demonstration was now very large and very loud. I decided not to hang around and went into the Uruguaiana Station to catch the metro to Catete for dinner. In the restaurant, I saw the TV broadcasting the demonstration which had gone ugly. Cars were burning and police with riot gear and equipment were containing the rioters. Tear gas was used. I was glad I wasn't there.

I don't know current prices at Monte Carlo, so I need someone to do the math. What would the cost be in dollars for entrance fee, one girl, and a 40 minute room if the rate was 3 to 1.

I would like to get my cost down to 100. 00 Total and then I will go back to Brazil.

Last I checked, it still has many problems, things have improved but still not up to 1st world standards.

Some? I'd say quite a few if you know how the Olympics work. FIFA might not the vulture capitalist, the IOC is but nonetheless they ask YOU the host country to put on the event and sell it like a chance to put your country on the world map, all are your expense. Who pays for this? The doctor in the public hospitals, the favelas being destroyed for new stadiums and athlete village, etc, etc.

In Ukraine the vendors did not see the benefit though were sold on by the politicians who wanted to host the European Championships. She right, in Brazil they will see little benefit overall and because Europeans and Americans are cutting back traveling to Brazil, their struggles will continue once all the crowds leave.

I love sports but it makes some people do stupid things (violence) , vote against their own interested, be NIMBY's and distracts you from the Banker Occupation.

About three weeks ago, I heard about the increase is bus fare in Sao Paulo that sparked the original small protest, but the crowds grew bigger as the police started to crack down.
