In another thread about bragging about getting sex for free and pay just for a few drinks / some taxi money. One member put it correctly. 1000 pesos can make a big impact for her and her family.
My point is we should have empathy and a wiliness to help the women who trust us and be friend us. I think most members know what I mean. Yes, I know there are scammers and liars / cheaters but we also know there are many good woman who trying make it to the next day / week / month.
No. I am not a bleeding heart. I think we should be "fair and caring. Not just being users.
Ok I will wait to get blasted for my post.

Posts: 302Top Largest Overnight Tourist Destinations
The Department of Tourism has just released a list of the top overnight tourist destinations in the Philippines. Might be useful for those planning trips to tourist destinations, in addition to mongering locations.
The list is:
1. Metro Manila – 974, 379.
2. Boracay Island – 702, 798.
3. Cebu City – 613, 279.
4. Lapu-Lapu City – 396, 289.
5. Puerto Princesa City – 359, 320.
6. Baguio City – 338, 992.
7. Albay (Legazpi City) – 290, 845.
8. Batangas – 281, 243.
9. Cagayan de Oro City – 200, 295.
10. Davao City – 184, 362.
11. Bohol – 171, 823.
12. Iloilo City – 152, 377.
13. Clark – 151, 454.
14. Negros Oriental – 150, 067.
It is interesting that Clark / Angeles City is way down the list, and areas / cities like Albay and Cagayan de Oro are ahead of Bohol (with its Chocolate hills and tarsier) and Davao.

Posts: 6874$5. 96 refund from Cebu Pacific
on my credit card. it showed up. i flew from butuan to cebu. online purchase of the ticket, and i purchased (for extra pesos) a seat in the first row (extra legroom). when i got my boarding pass and got on the plane, i was assigned to the second row. i pointed out the discrepancy to the f / a, and she said to take it up with the ground cp folks once we landed. i did. they huddled around a computer (5 of them) for half an hour trying to figure out what went wrong. told them i wanted a refund of p80 (difference between the p230 extended legroom seat and a regular p150 seat assignment). they took me to the ticketing office and explained. the kid (and i mean kid) there told me that the manila office would have to look into it. i spent over an hour in the cebu airport not because i wanted the p80, but because it was enjoyable watching how this simple thing threw a monkey wrench into their day, causing 6 employees to look into how this attrocity could possibly have happened (they were oddly incredibly concerned with getting to the bottom of how this happened. not with getting me my refund). the kid took my number and said he would be in touch.
he was never in touch. upon my return to the cebu airport a week later, i happened to walk by the ticket office and stopped in. a month later, i get a $5. 96 credit on my credit card from cp. the only thing slower than the cp refund process? their a319 final approach speeds in davao (ouch).

The effect of having too many lawyers and too many laws.
So when the taxi or trike driver next asks for a P500 fare for a 3 minute ride and you call him stupid. Beware!

BTW, there is a thread her called,"chat rooms and whatever" which is dedicated to such pursuits.

There are a few variables that will determine the value of membership.
1) Do you live here or frequently travel here? If yes, join. If no, go to 2.
2) Do you have a specific itinerary to visit the Philippines coming soon? If yes, join. In no, go to 3.
3) Are you just testing the waters and mulling over a Philippine visit? If yes, don't join.
I love FC; it's my go-to site. Many girls on the site who I met tell me that they find the men on FC older than those on DIA. If you're a younger guy (20's and 30's) this may work to your advantage. DIA is "noisier", I. E. Many more members competing for the girls' attention.
I think in almost all cases being here or very often here, or having a profile that indicates this, gives you a leg up over everyone else overseas on any dating site. Of course if your profile says you're here it behooves you to have answers that support this if and when asked.

Posts: 356Flaming and Cut & Paste and my $0. 02
I have noticed that someone has been accused of cutting and pasting a story. Not long ago, I have been accused also for doing it.
#1 There are some want to be moderators here and jump everything and everyone. Take a chill pill and relax. Let people feel comfortable and post messages without getting worried by getting jumped on.
#2 I like to thank everyone who shared their experiences and made my trips pleasurable and safe.
#3 Enjoy and let someone else enjoy too.
PS: Yes I did cut and paste into this board but from my own notes. First I wrote my notes on simplenote (I hope you know the service) and pasted them from there to here upon my return to USA. So, before you accuse someone, think twice.
