the draconian autocorrect settings in isg insert spaces either side of "/" marks, which causes the [/url] delimiter to be misplaced. i do begrudge editing to get things to properly display. obviously, not my ball, but methinks settings could be loosened up a bit.
gist of article seems to define "[CodeWord123]" more in terms of broad "intimate partner violence." violence is violence, but keep in mind the statistics are not purely referring to the actions that typically come to mind associated with the word "[CodeWord123]."
now this article does in fact refer to "[CodeWord123]" as typically defined, of non-partner victims -

although there may be some degree of bias in terms of study design and definitions used, in general the lancet is highly reputable internationally. there ample food for thought in these articles.
considering the re-reporting of the information as news in a us publication, it is easy to see how media bias can skew perception considerably by changing the tone of terminology and selectively emphasizing statistics or extrapolations. the 1-in-4 claim trumpeted in this article lack the same credibility as the stats referenced in the lancet, in my view.

for some reason part of the web link is not active, so you can't get through to the full article. if you are interested do a search containing the keywords lancet asia pacific [CodeWord123] study. this article is not for the statistically faint of heart.

the study was based on a sample of approximately 10, 000 men from nine sites in six different countries. i believe they claim that only the cambodia sample is representative of the country as a whole. as i read their sampling description i understood them to say that the results were only representative of populations for the sites from which their research subjects were drawn. their tables reported 95% confidence intervals. so if they report that 10. 9% of men in one site's sample acknowledged having engaged in [CodeWord125] a single woman, they also reported that the likely percentage for the population as a whole might be, for example, between 10. 5 and 11. 3. this is akin to political pollsters reporting research polling results for a candidate of 45 percent, plus or minus 3 percent. i can't speak for other countries, but in the u.s. political polls are often based on 1000 or 1200 voters. so the sample sizes these folks are reporting are actually quite large as social research goes.
the lancet, in which this was published, has been shown in various evaluations to be the second most influential health science journal in the world. i believe it's published in britain by elsevier. this article would have been peer-reviewed. this means that one or more editors, themselves distinguished doctors or scientists, would have looked at it first to determine whether the article was of sufficient quality to be considered for further review. if they decide it is not of sufficient quality, they send it back to the authors: a rejection. if it may merit further consideration, they send it out to three or more anonymous reviewers who are known experts in the general subject matter. from there it may still be rejected, or it may be sent back to authors for recommended revisions (which means they will review it again after revisions have been made) , and a few articles are ultimately accepted for publication. i would guess that the acceptance rate for the lancet is very low.
as a result the articles that get published in a journal like the lancet typically have a pretty low fictional content. the stakes are very high for refereed publications in the health field-many times a lot of money is at stake. even a social science study like this is going to attract a lot of attention-from other researchers and from politicians and other influential folks. in this case the results may be tied to large amounts of foreign aid from the major donor countries, large philanthropic foundations, and so on. where politicians are concerned, some international ngos will also be paying attention. the editors are under tremendous pressure to uphold the quality of the process and the content of the journal.
here's the actual article, in case anybody else wants to check out the research design:

a country in the list, has 20 million people, but in the report states it has 50 million and 7.5 million are [CodeWord126] and. if i go by their logic out of the 20 mill (actual population) 7.5 men makes it. all the men their discounting for kids and woman. so all men in x country are [CodeWord126].
i think that report is a work of fiction.

the study was based on men's self reports, acknowledging that they had engaged in [CodeWord123] at some time. i heard that the study created anonymity by allowing respondents to respond to questions on some sort of tablet device, thereby avoiding the difficult social interaction of reporting face-to-face. philippines was not one of the six countries studied. i would guess that [CodeWord123] rates are fairly high in the philippines, at least among poor people. lots of social pressure not to report, and it's often likely the police do not investigate very seriously. with higher status females, on the other hand, it may be more likely to be taken seriously, especially since the culture is very concerned about protecting young women's virginal virtue.

I would give a nut to do Colombia and Brazil run. Maybe later.

The next time she was trimmed neat and tidy.
The other is single with relatively few sexual experiences. The single lady stated she prefers bald for hygienic and scent reasons. She said she goes through different phases of preference ranging from bare to bushy. My only complaint was that she tended to let it get stubbly and scratchy before shaving again.
I was somewhat surprised at their openness at their age, but if they are aware of the different preferences of men have for pubic hair one can be sure that the younger ladies are also aware and open to try new hairstyles.
My Filipina experience has primarily been with ladies in their late thirties or early forties. The others never discussed my preference and were obviously comfortable with a full pelt.
Personally, my preference is bare for oral, trimmed for visual, and a full soft Bush for touch.

I'm with you man, I don't dig that either. In my experience the ones that keep that thing shaved have gone pro. Nothing wrong with either of the two, but I'll take a hair stuck in my throat any time. I could live without that eyebrow picking too. I know a girl in Davao City that plucks them clean out and then uses eye liner to paint them back on. I thought maybe it was a religious trip but she denied it. Something not as crazy, I suppose.
