Overall I liked the experience and would rate it highly. However, compared to many of the termas and saunas I have been to the women were not top rank. I know that I went at a non-prime time but a sauna in Bangkok at a similar time would have better looking women and better service (on average) in my experience and opinion. (Note, I went with two women in Mainhatten so this comparison is made with a sample size of 4.)

You can't compare (well makes little sense) a non-peak time FKK club with something in another country. Its just not relevant, as completely culturally dissimilar, about what happens on a Sunday. "Sauna in Bangkok"? I live in Bangkok part time, and have been mongering to a wide variety of places but I don't ever recall using or rarely even seeing a Sauna. Its a hot country. Saunas would not be so popular I think. What sort of Sauna places do you refer to? Perhaps you not mean an actual "Sauna"? I don't use saunas so maybe just unaware.

I have a pretty good day on a Sunday at Oase after checking that Lavinia would be attending. Plus some other known good girls were around, even if wasn't top line up.

My first trip to an FKK. I took a train (S5) from Frankfurt and taxi. The taxi from Bad Hamburg was just over 15€ (not 12 as was reported here) and there were several waiting. I decided that saving the extra time (reported to be over an hour, round trip) was worth the extra cost going to Bad Hamburg versus Friedrischsdorf (5x2=10€ as reported but 16€ as experienced if the cost to Friedrichsdorf is accurate at 7€). Also, I went on a Sunday afternoon when finding a taxi could have been an issue.

I have taken taxis many times. From Friedrichsdorf its a little under 10 Euros, Perhaps 8 Euros+ (one way) for most optimal route. From Bad Homburg, if the taxi takes a cost optimal route it will be just under 15 Euros (never got 12 Euros - not possible on a meter I think). Often taxis do not pick the best route for cost optimization. They will pick a route where they can drive faster and more relaxed but may be longer. One taxi took me a very stupid route that was possibly the shortest distance but involved many traffic lights, wasted time and did not save any money.

Not sure if Sunday has a different taxi meter rate or not.

Easiest way to get to Oase from Frankfurt without driving is to get the S5 train to Friedrichsdorf and then a cab to Oase from the station. The countryside in Friedrichsdorf is quite pretty and my scumbag brain tried to make me walk to the club again, but the overcast skies brought me back to reason. Cab to Oase is just under a tenner. 8+change for the return ticket from Frankfurt.

Got there around 3pm on Friday a week ago. First impression from Oase is that it must be bloody brilliant in the summer. Even now, I spent a good half hour lounging in the still adequate sun with a cappuccino. Interior-wise, the jacuzzi room is easily the best bit. The couch area is way too dark I think. It's no surprise from reports, but the rooms were constantly filthy with overflowing bins and stained mattresses. Even the girls were complaining. I'd also like to address the terracotta elephant in the room (with gold pyjamas?) and say that the whole greco-roman thing is ridiculously overdone and tacky. Fake stone and marble is fine, maybe a few columns, but dozens of plaster statues with golden clothes (and then kamasutra pics in the rooms) are so far past good taste that I'm wondering if it's some inside joke by the designer.

Girl-wise, there are definitely more grade-A stunners here than Mainhattan and probably Sharks too, or at least there were by the start of the night.

Quick note on the clientele: most of the people there were tourists or businessmen in town temporarily (including myself for that matter). Few regulars as far as I could make out, lots of oriental Asians, some Italians and a few Russians.


JPF mentioned FKKs being stingy with towels.

In every FKK I hit on my week in Frankfurt (Mainhattan, Sharks, Oase) I used at least 6 towels or more. You can get clean ones from the racks near reception any time you want. Get a couple, use one to dry after shower, toss it in the bins in the changing room and use the second one to walk around with. Repeat after sessions / sauna.

Yes, I went on a Sunday even though I knew there would be fewer women because it fit in with my travel plans (I had arrived in Frankfurt late the night before). I was hoping that being the last day of the Auto Show in Frankfurt there would more activity but I was disappointed in the numbers (maybe around 20 women when I arrived and 40 in the early evening) and quality. I was told that the night before (a Saturday) there were 200 women and that you had to wait up to a half an hour for a room so there are advantages to going when it is less crowded.

I was impressed by the size and opulence of Oase. The outdoor area would be very nice when it was warm enough. As it was in late September there were only a few men outside and with one exception the only women outside were smoking or talking on their phones. The exception was a couple who went into an outside cabana for sex but they came from and went back indoors immediately afterwards.

You get a small locker upstairs (for money) and a bigger (but not very big) locker downstairs for your clothes. As has been written here the food situation isn't great. You get two wrist bands when you pay your admission (70€). One of them is worth a 10€ credit for food. I had the seafood pasta and it was acceptable. The only thing that I drink that was free was water. I am not big on alcohol so that was no problem with me but I would have prefered a juice as an option.

You get a robe and a towel when you check in (and sandals). I don't know why they are so stingy with towels but I kept my damp towel in my locker and walked around with the robe and that is a better situation than at Mainhatten where I went later as there you only get one towel. It can't be that expensive to have a supply of towels so that you can get a dry one each time you shower.

Comparing FKK's with other venues I have been to: Aside from the women there were a lot of other things to do such as drink at the bar, watch porno movies / tv (football / soccer) , eat, get a massage, shower / jacuzzi / sauna, and if the weather had been nicer swim / play outdoor games.
