Take the road towards the old casino, they have rooms starting @RD500, very clean and much nicer than Calypso.
I have used The Coco Hotel by the hour, they have a cool little bar, and will take care of you short term, no questions asked.
Very basic hotel room, the owner, Ian is a good dude, and knows the deal. It's on Calle Alejo Martinez past Hispaniola Beach.

Any time I've stayed in Sosua I've always brought my chicas back to my hotel room. Where else was I supposed to take them, LOL?
Wrx2005 laid out the ideal use of the Cabana: it's a good place to take a side chick when you've got your main chick back in your hotel room. But if you are taking every chica you meet for the 1st time somewhere else other than your hotel room, then you are racking up more unnecessary expenses for your trip (your hotel room is supposed to take care of all of this).

Posts: 334I would leave a report but.
Just got back from a 5 day trip. 4 days in Sosua. A lot of girls, lot of new faces. Saw some regulars but this trip was the first where I didn't see that many regulars. A lot of girls asking for 2500 and up for short term. Not going to write a report cause too many people talk shit on here for nothing. For you vets on here who always have something negative to say on someones reports, yur the reason why people don't post anymore. Meet a few people this week who said they don't post because of the bullshit. You fucking guys argue about bullshit and take up pages on it, then when a new booty asks a question you guys jump on him saying read the forum!

My experience is Haitian ladys are great in bed. They will work for 1000 pesos st and 2000 tln. There's never any drama with them. IMHO the average DR girl is prettier but haitian make up for in the bed. Now do not get me wrong DR girls are very good as well. However haitian try harder.
[QUOTE=GrownMan1; 1506017]Most of my questionable situations have been with the Haitians and dark skin chicas in Sosua.
1. Sexy Haitian barbie wouldn't settle for 2000 short term and a dress. My man Fresh begged me to get her (she was that hot!). I passed and found a fine ass much ligher Dominican that settle 1500 and a tip. I gave her 2000 and a dress. She was funny and good! Its wasn't about the money with me it was about the effort. I thought looking good, dressing to impress, and politeness should get me better deals. Fresh took her instead a said she couldn't perform well. Stop papi suave suave. He said she was a pretty blow up doll.

If you are not good at vetting girls cabanas a decent option. Most are way nicer then the hotels we have.

Posts: 3801Cuevas de Cabarette and 27 Charcos (Caves of Cabarette and 27 Pools of Water)
I have to post this evening about my days experiences to warn / advise everyone of the what I encountered for future reference. Unfortunately the morning did not go well. My hard body 29 year old Dominican Cupid Wife couldn't put out this morning as she started her period. Yikes after last nights activities I couldn't wait to jump her bones in the morning. Anyway I asked how long it might last and was told for three or four days so that's fine with me, there's plenty more out there and I think I'm going Black tonight (Haitan) and I'll have the wife back when the bleeding stops.
After breakfast I called my Taxista and off to Cabarette we went. First stop was the Supermarket for Tampons and then to the Caves. At the office I was told the price was $ 20 a person for a tour. I asked them what the price was for a Dominican and was told the same. This didn't sound right as the Cable Car in Puerto Plata had a price for residents and a price for visitors. After being told what the price was I huddled with my driver about all this and he honestly didn't know about the place so as not to create a scene I just forked the money over and took the tour. The guide (Guia) was fluent in English but I told him to give the tour in Spanish as it is a good opportunity to learn more Spanish. After 20 minutes of learning all about the flora and fauna we went into the first cave. No lighting except from the headlamps on the hard-hats and after descending 75 feet encountered a pool of water. Big deal. The next cave had a bunch of staglites and was okay. The last cave was more of an opening in the side of a hill with a deep pool to swim in. What a rip-off and waste, don't bother going there!
The 27 Charcos (Pools of Water) was awesome and a must see. Arrived at the entrance / office and no bullshit about entrance fees as they are posted. They have three tours consisting of the first 7, followed by pools 8 thru 12, followed by all 27. The Taxista and my wife didn't want to get wet so they just went to the first 7 sets of pools. We where accompanied by two guides and after walking for fifteen minutes there was a fork in the road with access to the 12 pools. I was escorted by one of the guides and was told it would take 35 minutes of hiking to get to the 12 th pool. It took all of 35 minutes to get to the starting point of the tour and be warned, if you are out of shape and not a good swimmer stick to first seven pools only. You do need to be in shape for this as the guide kept asking me if I was tired and I could tell he was getting tired as well.
For the start of the tour upon hiking for 35 minutes imagine a bunch of waterfalls with a pool of water below them. At each of the pools there was basically a slide in the rocks so at some of the locations I was told that I could either jump (saltar) or slide into the pools. The waterfalls / slides varied in height from 10 to 20 feet. The pools below the waterfalls where quite deep (profundo) so the guides said I wouldn't need to worry about hitting myself on the bottom. I opted to slide down and actually went underwater a couple feet but not a problem wearing a mandatory life-jacket and hard-hat. The guide was great, I brought my camera along with some plastic baggies and he took photo's / videos at each pool. At the end of the tour which took about two hours the guide was asking me if I enjoyed the tour and mentioned something about a tip for them. I said not to worry. I had previously seen some of the other guides get 100 peso tips. I actually had both guides for most of the tour and was amazed how my camera didn't get after being totally immersed in the pools. The guides also helped so that I didn't get injured as well. I decided to give them each 300 Pesos as it always nice to make someones day. They looked at me like I was either Bill Gates. A stupid gringo, maybe both and thanked me profusely.
Getting ready to hit the Strip tonight and who knows what kind of trouble I'm going to get into.
