Hi all,

I am in Ho Chi Minh now and wanted to give an update on how my first day went.

First tried to go to the hot tocs in Dien Bu Phu street. I went at around 8pm. Only Benny"s (110 Dien Bu Phu, Binh Thanh District) is running (with only 3 or 4 girls working). My Tien has closed and is now a cafe called "Cafe Tien". Benny's procedure is the same as previously stated; 150K to the house + 200K to the girl. The girl did a great job. However since the limited number of girls working and quality plus only one hot toc running in that vicinity, I would suggest you go elsewhere.

After I went to a German restaurant and had dinner. Then walked along Hai Ba Trung street. They are open however I wasn't in the mood to partake as I was a sweaty pig. But the places are in full swing and many girls were milling around number 59 (I think).

Went back to my hotel (Hoang Hai Lai 2) and the bellmen are real chummy with me. I tip them well so they want to keep it going. As I walked into reception there was a group of Asians with some Viet girls (working girls for sure) and were promptly stopped by reception. Here's the rub, the hotel has no problem with you bringing girls in, however you will need to pay 15USD and sign a guarantee. I emailed the office beforehand and they replied just how I typed it.

After that commotion, I went into the elevator and the bellman followed suit. He then asked me if I wanted some company for ST. I was naturally curious and he offered million for ST. The girl came up and she was cute. A bit pudgy but I thought what the heck. She was a fish in bed and kept on saying quicker, fuck me (No kissing, no BBBJ). I wasn't impressed as you would imagine. Did the deed and tipped her only 100k. She wasn't happy but I told her her performance was less than desired. Funny thing though, I noticed she was wearing an engagement ring on her wedding finger. After she left the bellman that organised it came up to check and I told him she was no good. He was VERY apologetic and guaranteed that next one he will get me a great girl. I tipped him 200k and said it would have been more if she was better (got to show them some carrot and stick).

So all in all, Benny's is meh but still worth a gander if only to cross off the mongering bucket list. The hotel I mentioned above is more than accommodating as they are the ones supplying.

Anyway, that is it for the moment. If I do monger again I will report back.

Visited most of the Bars with rooms and girls in no particular order. After plenty of beers settled on a bar on LHS if walking from the river about 300 meters + up, with black frontage. Took a liking to one of the girls and got on really well. We ended up going to a room upstairs for BBBJ. Pricey at 50$ but worth it as she was a def 9, with great slurping skills! I think lady drinks are 3.25$, and bought a few of these to help things flow, but it is not really a good value P4P experience!

Spent a week in Ho Chi Minh and here is a summary of the trip.

Hotel: Female guests in 4 and 5 star hotels are not allowed. So choose any 3 star hotel. They are girl-friendly but they charge $15 extra for guest and she must deposit her I'd.

Clubs: Clubs are filled with women but also a large number of younger student-type guys from Europe / USA probably making the best of unemployment benefits . Men to women ratio was almost 1:1 Vietnamese are friendly, polite and curious.

Apocalypse - The best pick up club imo. Women are a mixed bag of occasional freelancers, hard core pros and normal women who come to chill out. Couple of them were stunning which was a pleasant surprise. Going rate for stunning ones could be as high as 200 USD for LT. Normal ones can be 100 - 150 / night. Saturday night also has several tourist obese white women. All were below 2 and 3

Lush Disco - Some good looking Viet women but also saw a lot of annoying western whales smoking like chimneys and swinging wildly which can be hazardous for your teeth while you gulp down that beer. This place is filled with smoke. I found a few 7 and 8 upstairs but no 9 or 10s Tuesday night is lady's night.

Napoly - It's basically a hostess bar. Every hot woman you see. And some are very pretty. Is actually a hostess. Just tell the manager which one you like and she would bring her to you. She would sit with you, talk to you in her broken english, drink with you, dance with you but it's not for take out. You will have to tip her 200, 000 to 300, 000 at the end. I was able to get the number of a hostess but had no time to meet her because of other dates.

Blanchy's. Walking distance from Apocalypse club. Some nice women but it closes early. Best time to go is about 11 pm

Touts: At every corner, guys on scooter will approach you offering women. Rate was $70. 90 / all night. Mostly 6-7 if you are lucky.

Scams:

Taxi - Taxi fare starts at 11000 dongs but some thugs keep a 2 lit up before that. They put up a hefty fight at the end and demand 230, 000 dongs rather than 30, 000. Solution is to simply drop 30, 000 in his lap and walk out while threatening to call the police. Keep walking while he tries to follow you.

Touts - Make it clear that there will be no tipping. Period. Otherwise everyone over there would ask for a tip. Also stipulate that you will pay next day. In fact this applies everywhere otherwise within 1 hour her sister / mother would call because she had some emergency and your chick would be gone.

Day time activities: Walk over to any of the malls and check out women. Malls are filled with women however nothing I saw that could be called 9s or 10s. Plenty of tourists from China, Korea and Japan. Met 3 decent looking women from Korea in a foot massage spa. Very friendly and spoke good english. I suppose it's possible to score with them if you have time. These foreign tourists are friendly if they are in a group. I thought single female tourists were too scared to talk to strangers. So strike a conversation with the hottest one in the group. War museum is also a good place for that.

i know the immediate area surrounding the touristy spots like the backpacker district and district 1 where most of the attractions are concentrated will probably have bars with inflated prices but i'm willing to venture further out if it gets me better prices / service.

i was in hcmc last week and stayed in district 1 in a 5 star hotel. i was with my freebie most of the time but did have one opportunity when she was away.

all but one of the bars on hbt have been shut and the only one left was asking $100 for 2 hours st. i peeked in the door. the quality was not good; mostly milf types. the touts on the street have girls for $50 st, maybe less if you negotiate with them. he showed me a couple of girls to look at and i took one back to my hotel. she was in a hurry as is usually the case with girls like this. that said, she gave a good bbbj and fs in multiple positions to my satisfaction. she stayed about 45 minutes for 1 million vnd.

my 5 star hotel was girl friendly until 11pm if the girls provided i'd. to stay overnight, i had to register my freebie. i booked 2 persons in the room when i made the reservation. i don't think this will work if you want to bring multiple girls for lt over the course of the stay.

Hi G. I've been to all three and HCM 10 times since 2007 (for work). Only been to SR and PP once so my experience is limited there.

Just to supplement:
HCM is probably one of the worst monger destinations, unless you speak the language. Stick with Cambodia, although not a comparable to LOS or other countries.

Hi G. I've been to all three and HCM 10 times since 2007 (for work). Only been to SR and PP once so my experience is limited there. Still, I'd recommend SR for cheap massages with happy endings / maybe BBBJ, hotels and sight-seeing at Angkor what. PP is also cheap but I had more fun in SR. HCM lots to do and girls are harder to get but they are available at certain hot tocs like Benny's (read the forum) and discos like Apocalypse Now. The former is cheap BBBJ (approximately $15) but usually no take out. The latter is actually expensive. They are asking $100 for overnight now. We'd have to get reports on the current action on Hai Bai Trung to find better value. Good luck.
