Yes, that Punpon Road has numerous Massage Parlours, big and Small. Katherine Massage and Angel Massage are the bigger ones and there are at least 5-6 nearby which are smaller and provide similar services. I am told that the girls are decent there as well and they are less expensive, due to lower infrastructure costs etc.

Another great hotel, right in the heart of the action, GF friendly, great rooms and well priced, is the Yorkshire Hotel. Well worth a look.

5 minute walk to take your lovely GoGo back, or theres even a ST hotel in a Soi just next to the GoGo Soi for a really cheap price.

Secondly, Phuket is very safe, but like everywhere there are some dickheads around. Just use common sense, if someone looks dodgy, stay away. I took girls back to my room. Just keep valuables in the room safe. I have never had an issue with drink spiking, but again, just use common sense and all will be OK.

Can confirm. Great hotel, clean, friendly staff, good food. Was there for three nights.

Due to SCUBA diving I usualy stay at the east coast, around Chalong. The scene there is very low key but so are also the prices. Bar fine usualy 300 BHT and LT 1500 or less. But it's sometime hard to find a 7, 8 or even more in terms of looks.

I have been to Phuket a couple times, always with my wife though, and so mainly sneak away for a quick MP experience. Some great experiences, others not so great. To me that is a big draw to the LOS. My first time there I arrived in Bangkok at 1:30 am with no hotel reservation. I knew I wanted to stay near the Nana district so I got the taxi to drop me there. So I am walking up and down the street in the middle of the night looking for a room and I have never felt safer, especially not in LA where I have lived for 30 years. The tourist industry is the #1 industry so there is no way the government will let things get out of control. If the cops see the locals even looking funny at you they will beat them within an inch of their lives.

That said, I'm sure there are certain parts of any city where it is not a good idea to be if you are just visiting, but that's not where we want to be anyhow. Relax, feel safe and enjoy your time there.

I've been there alone twice and I'm going back soon. No need to worry about your safety. I've always felt safe there. Just be careful that the girls don't put anything into your drinks. I've heard too many bad stories about that. I'd never have a drink with them in my room.
