This is my first post so I'm a bit nervous. Hopefully you guys can help me out so I can give my first report.
Anyway, this is my first time in Indo so I'm having a bit of trouble trying to find where to go. I don't speak Indonesian and it's been really difficult for me. I'm in Malang atm and trying to find where to go from here.
I heard some of the discoteque are good but I don't want to take the girl back to my hotel because I thinks it's to far away. I know there are some short time villas that would be perfect. I've spent all day translating Indonesian articles and thought asking you guys would probably be much better.
So if you guys can give me some info it'd be great. I don't have much time left in Malang either. But I might go somewhere in Singapore on my way back to my homeland.
Cheers
S

- Glamour Spa: it's in Jl. Embong Malang, when you follow the street coming from Tunjungan Plaza Mall on your right hand side, only very small sign at eye level. Cosmo Spa I have not yet seen myself, but should in the same street, I think even a bit closer to TP Mall.

Yesterday, I tried to rent a motorbike but no one seem to know where. I asked the hotel lobby and doorman. I even stop to ask at a motorbike repair shop. No one knows. Can anyone help? It may be too late for this trip but I intend to come back to visit.
I also don't see ojeks. There were people sitting around on their bikes but none asked me if I wanted a ride. I asked once and got a dirty look. There were plenty of taxis and becaks beckoning me though. Thanks.

Arrive in Surabaya two nights ago from Bali. Flight was delayed. By the time I settled down in my hotel room at Fave Hotel near Tunjungan Plaza, it was almost 23:30. First impression of Surabaya: It is DARK, very few street lights. As this is my first time in town, I decided not to take a risk wandering around at night, especially as I was ignorant to the terrain.
Yesterday (Saturday) , I went to House of Sampoerna and took two free Heritage bus tours as well as visiting the museum. Then I wandered around Chinatown and the Arab Quarter. By now it was 18:00. I then took a cab to Depot Soto Gubeng Pojok on Jl Kusama Bangsa, as suggested by Jonas John. Well, the restaurant was closed for Chinese New Year and will reopen on Monday, Feb. 3. So I went next door to eat Nasi Bebek (fried duck rice) and Soto Ayam (chicken soup) which were excellent. I was tired from all the walking and the heat. So I went back to the hotel to bed.
Today, I spent the day at Tunjungan Plaza window shopping. I tried to locate 6F & 7F of Tay-Pay 3 from inside the mall but failed. There must be a special entrance. Then I decided to go to Symphony for the sure thing. I walked to the Majapahit Hotel, then followed a previous poster's directions which were very accurate. From the main entrance of the hotel, turn right, past Bata shoe store two shops away on right, then turn right into the first alley. I could already see the barber pole. It is the last storefront on the right. But there were no credit card signs and no name or lettering at all. I walked in and it was as described, bar on the left of the big room and girls sitting in an L shaped area. So I assumed I was in Symphony. There were at least 15 girls, all doable. The PPS greeted me and asked me which girl I liked. Again I followed advice and ordered a beer so that I could take my time choosing. There was another Asian monger, also having a beer. As my beer was served (which was the big bottle of Bintang for 30K) , the server whispered to me to pick the girl in the red dress saying she's good. I took a good look and liked her. So I picked her. I paid 600k, he picked up my beer bottle and mug, and led me to a room upstairs. A few minutes later the girl walked in. She introduced herself as Intan, from some unpronounced place 4 hrs by bus from Surabaya. I did not ask her age though she looked 30. We chatted a bit. She could speak some English and I spoke some Indonesian. She was very conversational. We then undressed and got into the shower area. She was a little meaty with nice big breasts. In bed, she did everything except anal (I didn't ask) , chest and nipples lick, BBBJ, cfs. She was GFE and patient as I took a long time to finish. After I was done, we laid on the bed and talked. She reiterated that the place is open at 12 noon 7 days a week, close at 23:00 on Monday to Saturday, at 20:00 on Sunday. The guys who visited were Japanese, Koreans, Chinese, Taiwanese, Malaysian, Singapore, local Indonesians and Indonesian Chinese. As for whites / Bules she was not sure where they came from. She's been working there for 5 years. I asked her to finish my beer which probably helped her chattiness.
I would rate Intan 8. 5 face and 7. 5 body but if you are into 19-20 year olds, she's not for you. She's 'meaty' like a Brazilian or Dominican which was a change from the typical skinny Indonesian. I would definitely see her again if I come back to Surabaya.
When I left Symphony, I tried to locate Cosmo and Glamour but was unsuccessful. I was reluctant to wander into the alleys as it was Sunday and deserted. However, I crossed the street (Jl Tunjungan) and on a spur decided to take a short cut through the alleys to get to Jl Embong Malang and to the restaurant Rawon Setan directly across from the Marriott. There were residences and people about so I felt safe. BTW, that restaurant was good and cheap.
Tomorrow Gang Dolly!

It depends where you are staying: if you are out in the East, near Galaxy Mall or Pakuwon City, I recommend the slightly more orderly arrangements at the Pakuwon Food Festival. If you stay in the centre, Depot Soto Gubeng Pojok is more covenient, Jalan Kusuma Bangsa No. 30.
In the end, if you go to any food street and ask "Di mana saya bisa memakan Soto Madura enak sekali?", they will point out the locals' favourite. Always the better choice in my book.
Enjoy your stay!

Hey Guys,
I am presently in Bali. I will be coming to Surabaya on January 31, staying for four nights. It will be my first visit. I have read this Surabaya thread all the way back to 2009 so I think I got it. I hope Dolly is still open. I will also try Symphony and the bar scene.
I have two questions:
1. I have read in the Jakarta and Bali threads about the virginal skills of the women of Madura. You are next to Pulau Madura, yet I have not read one post about these ladies. Are they not available?
2. This is kind of silly and off our topic but I need to ask. I have heard of Soto Madura but have never tried it. Where is the best place to eat it? I am sure Surabaya being the second largest city in Indonesia must have it.
Report will follow. Thanks.

Posts: 16Surabaya Bu Mamik (or Mamiek)
oh my, long time since i last posted, but as i recently learned some practical things about the mps in surabaya, when i visited the place for a couple of days. i thought it might be of interest to other guys who are similarly ignorant about the practical ways of life. i am often (and in all countries) confused by the process and composition of payment in mps and spas, with whom to negotiate, where to pay, whether and how much to tip. so here is a how-to for bu mamik, maybe some fellows on the site can confirm whether this is the same process in other places as well:
- you enter and the reception desk mamasan invites you to sit down in front of the fishbowl and have a look. there is a sign behind the counter that says "75 000 rupiah", which is the standard price for a regular massage session.
- you pick a lady and she takes you to the (really awkwardly non-intimate) curtained cubicles upstairs.
- she will provide a regular massage (in this case: a very good one, actually) and at some point explain to you that they also have full service for 300 000 rupiah.
- case 1: you politely decline and just finish the massage. then you leave after the massage and pay your 75 000 at the reception desk.
- case 2: you take the full service option. in this case you pay the massage therapist directly, she will cover the room charge
- case 3: there are probably many "case 3"s, but mine was "no full service, thank you, but a hand job would be appreciated". in this case we split up the payment, i agreed to pay her directly 100 000 and also cover the 75 000 downstairs.
so in my case 175 000 for a pretty good massage and hj and decent conversation (my indonesian and her english had about the same crappy level) , can't complain.
i am sure a lot of aspects are open for negotiation, especially if you speak the language. we were fooling around and i got a look into her little bag with massage necessities. lesson learned from this: if you want to negotiate two rounds of full service, bring your own rubber. they only take one to the room.

I am just back from Surabaya.
I found Dolly a nice adventure area to hook up.
I have a question: what is the definition of girlfriend experience?
As far as I saw, no GFE is available in Dolly, but maybe it is something different from what I expect.
Thank for your patience.
Post about Barbara in Dolly in a short time.

I once had an experience in Bangkok when a friend waited in the bathroom. She was not attractive but her presence required by my girl. I thought what the heck and just asked her to stay in the bathroom, which she seemed to think was perfectly normal. When we ran out of condoms, she was immediately summoned to go and get more! Loved it!

No money discussed at all. I "hid" 500k in her purse while she was at the toilet and she only saw it on her way out."Oh. Is that my bonus"? And the brightest smile with a thank you kiss. One of the very most girl friendly experiences I have had actually.

Just curious, where did the two friends wait. Downstairs in the lobby? Or in the room? Or in the bathroom?

Thought I'd finally share a short report with you after being a consumer in this forum for a while. Thanks for all your sharing of wisdom guys!
I went to Surabaya a couple of weeks ago and did not have a lot of free time and starting each work day very early. So what I did (based on my learnings from this very forum) was going to the Ciputra World Mall and walked around for a while. Within 20 minutes I went into the Metro department shop and just randomly started talking to one of the tens of girl "working" there. Basically she was doing nothing.
3 minutes later we had a date. Bloody amazing!
She came to my hotel after work, and we screwed like bunnies for 90 minutes. She was seriously hot. 22yr old, good boobs, slim, clean and embraced all my requests. This was obviously not her first time, but she did feel genuinly non-pro, enjoying the excitement as much as me.
I'm desperately looking into ways to defend another trip to Surabaya again ASAP. Been several times before but mostly suffered during those visits as I never had the sense to find something more meaningful to do than work!
I'll try to take pictures next time.
Two of her friends came with her to the hotel, just to politely wait while we humped. Would not join us, despite my offer. But I'm sure they can be had!
Thanks again for getting me on track. I'll start contributing now!

do you know about symphony? it is a brothel near majahapit hotel. exit the hotel from the main entrance, turn right and walk past the bata shoe shop on your right. turn right into the next alley (or maybe the second alley) and its at the end of the street on the right, about 25 metres from the main road. you really will think you are going the wrong way. its like a tiny abandoned street with potholes in the road and little or no sign of life. but there at the end of the street on the right you will see a red whit and blue stripey lamp sticking out above the door. approach it and you won't see any sign of the kind of business it is. just blacked out windows and a sign saying that they accept credit cards. walk in and you will find a little bar with big bottles of beer and anywhere between 5 and 30 women sat along a big couch. it is expensive. 600k per hour. and that isn't a bule price as i got talking to a local and he said that's what he pays too. but you get what you pay for. for my tastes there were a couple of 9 or 10/10s, and plenty of 7 or 8s. real fresh faced, most aged 20-25, cute as hell and with really sexy outfits. and the rooms are large, clean, air conditioned and with a nice shower which iif my memory serves me correctly even had hot water. if you don't mind paying extra it kicks the ass of dolly. personally i like to go there and spend about 2 or 3 hours drinking 2 or 3 large bottles of beer while perving over the array of beauties lined up in the sofa. you often get little flashes of their panties when they get up and down off of the seat. then when i'm all excited and a bit drunk i choose one and go upstairs and get my hands all over her. one did lots of sexy cavorting for ten minutes while i jerked off, gradually peeling off her clothes. but be warned it is closed after 11pm, and maybe 8pm onsunday. best place in surabaya for me.
can you help me now buddy? what's this kembang kuning place? i been here 4 years and i aint never heard of it. share thorough knowledge please. and secondly, i was thinking of taking a freelancer from outside delta like you mention. i've always been lazy before and gone to dolly or a massage place, but wouldn't mind trying to pick up an fl soon. is there a specific spot they hang out, are they obvious in the way they look (because all over surabaya young people just hang out on the street anyway) and what is the going rate? any info much appreciated! now get to symphony and enjoy!

TS Suites is a quite good hotel with WIFI.
Breakfast is indonesian style. So no real bread or so.
Staff is young and good.
Town Square Mall has a direct connection at the 2nd floor.
Here is a supermarket some bars and restaurants.
Mongering is not so easy because Town Square is open (no roof) and no shopping mall.
But in the night at the bars it is possible.
I had luck already there but also evenings without any available girls.
