I'm an occasional traveler to Bangkok, thought I'd post my recent experiences at Dr. BJs and Eden (I'm hitting up the massage parlors on my next time through in a few weeks).

Been to Dr. BJs several times before, always good service for the price. Got a "nurse" for 700. I've never seen a difference in looks or skill from the 1000 ones or 700 ones, if anyone knows I'm all ears. I'm guessing the lower prices ones are just willing to take a smaller cut in the hopes to get more business. EE looked good, but I went with another girl of some number I can't remember because they take it right off maybe 2 or 8. I'll prob go back and sample EE another time. There was a lot of girls working, at least 15, at least half good enough quality. All small to medium boobs.

Went to the room / cubby, got cleaned up by her. She takes the top off but not the bottom. Gives ok BBBJCIM with swallow. Unless you are dealing with Hi So party girls, whether you take them to Nana Hotel or The Shangra La, its generally not going to matter much one way or the other. Some Thai working girls actually do see Nana Hotel as kind of posh.

Haven't been to Nana plaza and Soi cowboy as yet. How does these bars work. All the girls are available to out-call. I'm not intrested in spending nights there just wanted to pickup couple of girls and go back. Can you please give me any tips.

Also I've asked this question before as well. Are there any up market clubs or pubs that I can pick up girls in Bangkok.

Guys business is as usual here in Bangkok. I have had some great times recently at Nana plaza. 3000 LT is what I have been paying. Usually the girl does not leave until after lunch the next day. I stay away from the rainbows and Barracas since the girls seem to only want ST for 2500. If you go to some of the smaller go go's in Nana and Soi cowboy you will find some gems for sure. Climax is still going strong with some great music and a good selection of FL's to chose from after midnight. Insomnia near Soi 12 has been renamed but I forget what the new name is very slow and boring now. Mixx club is also still going strong with about an average of 800 people or more each night with plenty of girls working. So don't listen to anyone who tells you to stay away because of the protests. It is the best time to be in BKK for a monger.

I agree. Bangkok is a buyer's market and girls in beer bars and gogos are eager to get customers. Climax is very irregular and seems to quickly turn into sausage party (translate: more guys than girls) , so I wouldn't really recommend it (unless you are into girls in their 30s). The FL market in the street is also not bad. A few gems for 1000 ST around nana parking lot or in sukh. But make sure you are able to distinguish between ladyboys and real girls. I also talked with some black FLs in sukh (did not pick up, I don't go to Asia to fuck African girls) , and have been surprised by the fact that some of them are quite educated and nice to talk with.

I am planning short trip on the next week end to Bangkok, and am asking, is the business as usual or protestors are disrupting the visits.

Unless its 3 AM or something, IMHO the Skytrain is always the best option.

But as someone said, the amount of disruption one will face largely depends upon where you stay

As the saying goes "Thais always protect the *****houses". So things for example around (Soi 4) Nana Plaza area have been running smoothly

So as the protests continue, that makes Soi 11 hotels a good choice.

Soi 7/1 is a good area to stay cheap with no problems related to the protest, but of course if the day of the working girl crackdown ever arrives, all persons in or around Soi 7/1 would be the first to be rounded up and sent to jail.

Note despite the huge mess of the encampments at Soi 21, adjacent Soi Cowboy still manages to function even thought the west entrance is effectively not functioning.

Also it should be pointed out that at the giant Soapies in Rachatcha, other than the lack of customers, one would never know there are protests.

You can buy ED drugs at a lot of Pharmacies. One I used is on Sukhumvit near Soi 4. If you are on Soi 4 and walking towards Sukhumvit turn right and it will be within a few steps on the right. You have to be looking for it as it may not be so obvious.

I do not believe there are any problems with bringing ED drugs to Thailand. Taking them home without a prescription could get you in deep sh*t.

Well, IF you are "older" you might be taking some quantity of pills anyway. While I've NEVER been shook down entering the US, I keep my "ordinary" pills in plastic pill boxes (that I get free from Safeway or other grocers). One "different pill per compartment" wouldn't even draw attention (I take an extra week's supply anyway for emergencies) While Rush Limpdick got shit for hauling Vitamin V (no idea of what quantity set them off, though) , the "average guy" just gets ignored. The Indian version isn't even BLUE (some of them, anyway)

By the way. NOT THIS FORUM. But do NOT buy ED drugs in CAMBODIA. 100% lately are highly skilled CHINESE COPIES. Might as well have been CORN STARCH

This will be my virgin trip to Thailand. I have a buddy who's been to Thailand before and loves it. He suggests that I skip Bangkok due to the political unrest and head straight for Pattaya. Being my virgin trip, I would like to spend at least a couple of days here. What do you guys think? Are the monger areas safe? What should I avoid?

I just returned from Bangkok. I was there from early January until the end of last week. The protests are just irritating and make it more difficult to get around but it still can be done. Soi 4 and Nana are not affected at all. I stayed near Soi 4 and was fine. I would not let this political mess stop you from going to Bangkok.

Do though, stay away from the protesting crowds as there has been violence and you won't want to be caught up in it. And don't wear a red or yellow shirt.

I really don't think it is as bad as it was a decade ago. One of the reasons is there are so many foreigners here now, not to mention all the young ones.

Methinks now days if a gal is not dressed like a hooker and if the age difference is not so great, the assumptions are not as quick.

Yes, I think so. Current GF takes great pains to never dress in anything remotely resembling a bar girl. She likes to wear jeans, but will rarely do so because the standard BG uniform is jeans and some sort of tight blouse or top.

Does your friend have a pair of cojones? Man, I think some travelers are bigger pussies than the ones they come to Thailand to chase.

I was in BKK over Songkran. 2009 (?) , when the whole red shirt thing blew up. The ongoing protests are nothing like those, and even then only a small fraction of the town was affected. Just avoid the protests, go about your business and don't get involved. You'll be fine.
