Posts: 4114One more reason for the crack down
To SEAJ.
One more reason for the Crack down is clean up the Coruption in Guangzhou the central government want to crack down on the corrupt official and police, they are warn if they don't do their job they will be replace so only time will tell if 6 month from now they will allow the KTV to reopen and let them do business as usual knowing they can lose their job.

I'm actually in Dongguan right now, for the next couple of weeks. I've seen plenty of providers back in the states, but I've never done anything while out of the country. I was hoping to have some "fun" while I am here, but I have no clue where to start. Especially with what I've read has happened in the last couple months here. I'm flying solo, so the KTV thing doesn't seem to make sense. And what I would really like is to have someone to my room for an overnight. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
ILDG

First of all this is not an April Fool's joke.
I've gotten many info from this forum so I give back whenever I can.
Red alert again in some Guangdong cities from now till end of April.
One last good sweep by authorities and journalists.
Please do not ask me for furthur details unless for those who are committed to join me for cheonging together.
There're certain details not suitable to post in public. Eg. Hot dates and places.
Want to believe or not up to individual.
Any changes will update as soon as possible.

Posts: 3542Well, I must say! A couple or so weeks hath brought about a few more changes!
Now I see lots more mongers out and about with their belles of the night, mommies quite openly waylaying passer-by's, mommies making deliveries at restaurants. 85 etc. And just a more upbeat buzz around Chang Ping!
And now, apparently the split has switched in favor of the girls instead of the mommy; it was 40-60 just a few weeks back, it's now 60-40. Back then, there were not that many mommies / agents who dared to outwardly solicit / get customers but now more are doing it and I guess there's a girls shortage brewing! LOL.
And prices. Christ prices! It's truly all over the place and worse, since most girls now only put on minimal make-up, there's really no way of knowing if a girl is a BBS or a KTV gal! Ouch!
A friend had to pay 700 for a supposed KTV gal whilst another friend had actually done the same girl at the 250 BBS price previously. Go figure. LOL!
Nowhere near normal, but hey! A glimmer of hope!

I was in Guangzhou from March 25 to 27. I called up 2 of my regular mommies, none would answer their mobile phone. I sent them sms, both did not reply. I sent the a message on wechat, none replied.
If the locals are laying low, it will be wise to avoid CP. The risk is much higher for foreigners. I did not go to CP anymore and flew back home a day early.

Posts: 3542I think why a lot of people are still hopeful is the fact that in the past, Chang Ping and Dongguan had survived . Unlike other sex centers in China which had basically withered and died after clean-ups. Through the years, Chang Ping had experienced many a yanda, but things had always came roaring back strongly, even surpassing the excesses prior to it.
Unfortunately, IMHO the present yanda is totally different in that it is not just some cosmetic action undertaken by the operators in total cahoots with their protective umbrellas. This time around it is carried out by the very top of the leadership structure who just got fed up with the totally transparent "shows" put on previous yandas.
China's leaders are not dumb and it's a matter of enough is enough.
Just my POV.
