I was there one month ago in CR and I could say it was a good experience but I definietly will still go for Cuba or Colombia, I arrive on Friday Morning and the airpot is very modern and costums are very quickly, you can get a taxi just walking outisde ans asking any guy with the I'd hanging from their necks, it will cost you from o$25 to $ 35 USD to San jose Downtown, I stayed in the Bergerac Hotel which is located just between the modern and the old city part.

The hotel is average I think is quite expensive for $ 80 USD but the service is good, I visted Del Rey and mi opinion is this place terrible! Is like full of old hags, I also tried the bar in front of this place and the bartenders are drunk bitches that disrepect costumers, even the guy in the entrance said so. I tried for dinner the Fogo do Brazil that is a good place with great food, the bars around where the restaurant is located are the most trendy but to my taste is a waste of time if you are alone.

I also tried the Tango India, is a upscale strip bar but also very dissapointed is quite expensive and not worthy even the taxi ride, is quite far from downtown and the selection of girls are not very good. Finally I called a night and went back to the hotel.

Next day I definately wasn't satying in San Jose so I took a private Van to Jaco for $ 80 USD and here where evertyhing started to change, the ride was very smooth and the drive offer a six pack of beers, we stoped along the way in a rive to check the crocodiles and also a drink made of coconut, I ended up staying in a backpacking place because the place was full, went for lunch and tried Gallo Pinto a specialty of Costa Rica and some Imperials beers, then headed to Cocal, OMG, this is the place! It was 4 o clock and the place was full of 8, and 9 amazing!

I just had a couple of drinks and hit the sack, before going back to Cocal I had dinner is this superb Japanese place on the main street called Tsunami, is run by japanese and the sushi is great I recomend greatly.

Then I head to Cocal and in the evening this gets wild! The ratio was like 5 girls to one man, there are so many options you can't decide, I finally found a girl I definetaly loved! We have a couple of drinks and told her to go our to party and she said OK but you know how this works, she asks 200 USD all night I said 100 USD and party all night she agreed and off we went, we hit all the clubs in Jaco had a blast, wen back finally to my place and had amazing 2 sessions, she left around 8 my bus was leaving at 10 so perfect, the bus back to airport is like 10$ and this where my weekend ends!

Spend all your time in Jaco. Yes vocal is the place to be! Go towards the weekend. Day crew is the be team. However, there are some diamonds in the rough as my buddy says. Thought the place was pretty good. The owner is American and super cool. He said he made the upstairs with 6 king size bedrooms. Also if you get one he throws in a girl for an hour. I just got back from a work trip to Costa Rica where I had some free time for opportunistic mongering. I have just returned from Thailand and can assure that it is just the good ole saying. Grass appears to be greener on the other side. During one week at Pattaya and Bangkok, I did not see one 7/10 girl! And that includes googos like Baccara as well.
