Spasibo Ukeboy, Irish Lad for the info.
Yes as election approaches situation worsens. Odessa 1 dead today in center. Kiev too may become a battle zone.
And this may go on even after election.

Hi mongers,
Usually I just benefit by reading cause I am not this kind of guy who is good in writing reports, sorry.
But this time I really felt its necessary not to keep an experience for me.
I always felt safe in Kyiv and I still think if you keep an eye open its not a problem to visit Ukraine (especially the capitol city)
But some days ago my friend was hijacked by a taxi driver. He was driving him to some dark place and suddenly stopped the car. Then he threatened him and beat him by saying the words "European go home. You fuck our girls and kill our country"
And this was not the first time since last weeks I recognized anti-foreign behavior on the streets. I just managed the situation always cause I speak ukrainian and Russian language too.
Anyway: development is shocking.

Sberbank Rossii allows 4, 000 grivna per day per card, a whole lot better.
As Irish Lad said, you may have to go to several banks as well as use several cards to get what you need.
Credit cards work normally but not all places take cards.
Good luck.

Let us know.

Posts: 249Warnings about this weekend in Kyiv
My American contact has sent me further warnings. He's a reliable guy and quite adamant:
"By the way, about to get to bed here in a minute, but you need to be super fucking careful this next week. Got some very disturbing news from three embassies today."
And.
" Just watch where you are and DO NOT GO DOWNTOWN. It may be a false alarm, but it doesn't sound like it."
Once again, be careful out there mongers.

Posts: 33If anyone has some contacts they like to share.
Hi everyone!
I am going back to Kiev in June and are looking for some nice girls to meet. Since I have had a girlfriend there for over a year, I am a little bit out of the game. So if anyone has some nice girls (that they don't use anymore or like to share) , it is very welcome. I prefer student and GFE type girls. But all is welcome. The only thing is that they need to speak English. Sadly I don't have any contacts in return.
So if anyone wants to help, give me a pm.
Yours sincerely,
The Mercy Seat!

I have the benefit of some inside information from an American contact here in Kyiv. He sends me warnings from time to time that come to him from various sources. He has been startlingly correct on occasion. He sent me this warning minutes ago:
"Just wanted to let you know. Be extra aware of your surroundings. I've heard from some friends (journalists and Maidan folks) that there are a lot of "tourists" in town. They started arriving Sunday evening and are staying in shitty apartments and soviet style "hostels". All men. Your area has some housing where they could be staying, so be careful."
When I asked what was the reason for their visit:
"To stir shit up and terrorize the population. There will likely be some fake marches over the weekend / fake protests and you might see some more (fake) neo-Nazis coming up out of the woodwork too."
Keep safe, fellow mongers in Kyiv!
