Posts: 3There's a post here about Secrets:

I always stay at Secrets. Once at the Villa and probably 6 times at the Hotel now.
Well run ship. Strong WiFi in rooms.
Most of the girls in the Secrets bar which is attached to the hotel aren't go-go class. But they have a good attitude. I have found some definite gems there over the years but would generally recommend going elsewhere. Many are a bit too pum pui for my tastes.
A bit of nickel and diming going on at the hotel. But at around 1, 000 bath per night, what can you say, I guess margins are tight. I suggest that you ask the front desk to empty the mini bar. Stock it yourself, much cheaper than having drunk girls pilfer through it.
Book their taxi service too. 1,500 from BKK. Great to have a car waiting as you get through immigration and customs.
I prefer their rooms on the 3rd floor. Might not be for all. There's only a narrow staircase, and bar girls on 6" platforms can have issues. Same if you are a weak-legged girlyman.
About as close as you can get to WS while staying sane.
I have a room there reserved for June 5-8. So send me a PM if you're there at the same time.
Final warning, they require a deposit when you make a reservation (1,500 bath) and this will wind up on your card or bank statement as Secrets Pattaya. Which is a stupid way to do it. Not a problem for me, but could be for someone who's not paying attention. Know what I'm saying?
Cheers!

I usually stay in this place: convenient for Soi 6, but probably best if you rent a scooter. The 1 bedroom suites are great, good value and have a walk-in shower. The deluxe rooms are a bit below par. The wifi in the rooms is crap though. Wifi in reception area is fine, but when I sat there last night in the space of one email I was nearly devoured by very itchy biting flies from the adjacent garden area. Totally guest friendly.

If your safe isn't big enough, lock your laptop in your suitcase and your suitcase to something in the room.

Sutus Court hotel, three different pools, free WI FI, no breakfast and no in room safe but boxes at front desk, very clean spotless room. 995 be for best room witch I stayed in, other rooms even cheaper but haven't seen them, would stay their again, nice huge walk in shower also, big king size bed! Started out in Penthouse Hotel, stay away Roach infested, staff can care less about any complaints!

The hotel ibis Pattaya and hotel Sabai Empress are guest / girl friendly hotels in your range.
Included breakfast is good. Book online for good rates, both available even on makemytrip too, where you can pay in INR.
Away from noisy bars, near mongering venues, soapies, short walk from the beach, and easy on the wallet food.
Enjoy and pm me if you need further assistance.
