A simple explanation for the sparse crowds on Saturday. Colombia won an early game on Saturday afternoon. Many girls were too tired / drunk from celebrating to work Saturday night or just decided to take the night off. Expect the same tomorrow if they win. El Rinconcito Colombiano is the place to be during Colombia games for both non-pros and pros watching with friends.

That definitely makes sense but, I can tell from my last 5 trips this year that Thursday and Friday seems to be much better than Saturday nights. I know there are more business men in town during the week which encourages more girls to go out. One girl I know said Monday nights are the biggest money makers for the girls. The Business men get into town and want to go out on there first night or two there. Also, I am not sure but Saturday night may be more of a date night for the girls where they have regulars that take them out on Saturday night or the girls get pulled real early for TLN. Not sure but, seems to be a trend in Panama.

Spent Friday and Saturday In Panama this last weekend. Went with my girlfriend but, she is cool with sitting at habanos and people watching. Friday night had a lot of talent Saturday night was much more sparse. Had one girl offer a friend of mine Todo la Noche for $300.00. He wasnt interested so he didn't try to haggle but, I am sure it was a start high and then come down tactic.

Veneto was also busier Friday and had more talent. Saturday night about 11 pm only about 10 girls around the bar area. A few more playing the machines.

All in all a good trip. The amount of plastic and fake ass and boobs seems to increase each time I go there with each Colombiana trying out do the next by going bigger and more outrageous. My girlfriend likes Panama for the Hotels and shopping. Not sure It would be my first choice anymore for mongering. Its still too hit or miss depending on which girls go out and when.

By the recommendation of numerous posters, I booked a room at the Veneto casino. To the contrary of many travel site reports, I found the staff very responsive, attentive, and accommodating. In fact, I had decided to change rooms in the middle of my stay to go from one king bed to two doubles and they did the change without question, no extra charge, and with bellboy help to move my stuff. I booked the room for six nights through Kayak for $57 per night including tax. I paid through Kayak two weeks prior and the hotel didn't ask for more money, other than a $100 refundable deposit. My stay was over the Thanksgiving holiday.

The girls start showing up in the casino at about 6 pm and things really get hopping around 8-10 until 3 am or so. Walking through the casino is a bit like high school dating. My guess is that if a girl does not feel that instant attraction, they avoid eye contact, kind of like that stuck up cheerleader we all experienced at one point in our lives. Or maybe it is because they don't want to risk rejection and prefer for the monger to make first contact. I never could make up mind but there is certainly more eye contact and approaches by the girls as the night wears on. I didn't put it to the test, but I am certain that negotiations would be easier later in the night.

There are girls who rent rooms at the Veneto and hang around the pool during the day. I found the pool girls friendly, tired (they mostly sleep on deck) , and not willing to negotiate. I never did try one. All I was interested in was swimming laps and not socializing...

Just back from Pattaya Beach & I really enjoyed smoking my cubans at the local Starbucks on Beach Rd, watching the people / girls walk by. I'll likely visit PTY in about a week, arriving Sat 6/14 and staying about 4 - 5 nights. Less for mongering than just for some quiet, personal time away from the wife (remember. I'm just back for 2 wks in Thailand and am pretty well depleted). Any ideas on a good coffee shop or similar where I can enjoy my cigars & enjoy the views as well?

I've been to PTY many times, usually staying at the Marriott which I thoroughly enjoy but on this trip I need to watch the coins a bit more. Thinking of the Las Vegas Hotel & Suites. I haven't been particularly impressed with the Veneto & since they ripped me off on my winnings I'd rather stay elsewhere. Any comments?

Just returned from a very pleasant visit to Panama City. My employer put me up at a 4-star within walking distance from the Ventio.

I visited the casino briefly one weekday early evening. There were a couple dozen ladies there, some very pretty and some so-so.

I visited again Friday night. There were dozens of ladies there, quite a few beautiful ones, some quite striking. I talked with one of the prettiest Colombians who asked $500 for the night, quickly coming down to $300 (it was early in the evening). She said that would get me any two holes that I wanted. Holding (pun intended) that last hole as a marketing trick for more $$ was amusing. I told her maybe later.

We got along great all night, she was quite agreeable to everything and seemed to enjoy it. We ended up cuddling and talking for a long time, each showing pictures to each other of our lives. She showed me her house in Columbia on Google-Earth and talked all about her daughter, plans for the future and what it was like to work as a prostitute. I think being away from the Venetio and in a nicer hotel relaxed her. I will certainly look her up next time I am there.
