First, remember there's no rules for mongers, only advice.

He has a right to spend his hard earned vacation money anyway he wishes.

When he is on a week's vacation, he is not setting standards for how he behaves at home. Most spend thousands on a stress free holiday, with the emphasis on "stress free". A married guy doesn't want to be calling his wife if he gets locked up for a prostitute hassle, who even may be in cahoots with the cops.

Tipping is optional, but if he tips his REGULAR driver, waiter, security guard, whatever, they'll look after him, as valuable property. They can be good Samaritans in stressful situations, especially if he doesn't speak the language. Dinero is a language of its own.

As for gringos, "fucking up the hoes", if it wasn't for gringos there would be no hoes in Sosua. They come in droves, for that reason alone.

As for blame, any guy that gets gamed, should just look in the mirror, like I did when it happened to me, twice in five years. I didn't blame other mongers for my lack of judgment.

Why do you guys have faith that a low life Third World hooker, who you've never met before in your life, will have the gumption, the morals, or even desire to "honor" any agreement? You're just taking a chance that she will.

That's why I have a steady GF waiting for me down there LOL.

Bravo, at the Rio termas like 4 x4 and others, the staff even ask for a tip form gringos: you fuck the hoe, she wants a tip; in the locker room 10,000 Brazilian men will pass the lady who cleans it, but when a gringo passes she asks for a tip; at the desk when you pay your bill, the girl adding the bill wants a tip; the girl at the desk who runs your card wants a tip; and when you leave and give the exit receipt to the door man he wants a tip. But none will ask a Brazilian for a tip because that's not how it's suppose to go.

In Sosua it's the same damn thing. Let the dummies five the tip, because guess what, they hoes will ask for a tip even if they give lousy service. They don't know what tipping is about except they think you will give it because they ask. It's all about about much money people in these countries can get and how much you can keep. All this banter and philosophizing that gringoes do on this board means nothing to the locals. There are even grown men who will come up to a gringo in Sosua an complain that he business is bad and he needs gas for his bike; there are kids who approach you rubbing their belles for change; like hoes who say they need to get their hair done. This begging is generic to the people who make their money off gringoes (tourist). Even that BS that you're not gringo anymore, you're Dominican or you're Brazilian.

Like in Rio when hoes called me a safado as if they were shaming me. They did that to make a gringo feel guilty about being a serial and recreational hoe master, which I'm proud to be. In Sosua, the hoes will cut or roll their eyes at you as if you should care, because they can milk you for for a smartphone or get away with not performing their job.

The only tip I can give them is do your job better and you might get repeat business form me.

Mr Enternational, I agree with how you handled this situation. I don't care it It was $7 or $1. 25, a deal is a deal, and when a hoe flips the script then she gets nothing. I had an incident for the first time in 30 plus trips. The hoe tried flipping the script. I had to call security to get her out of my room. She ended up leaving with nothing. I loudly offered her 200 pesos and she refused it in front of witnesses, so she can't say I refused to pay her. Some of these hoes are known repeat offender trouble makers, and many are actually banned from hotels but slip through the cracks. So when some one asks why cry over $7, tell him to find her and pay her. Those who question why you made a big deal over such a small fee are the ones who empower such hoes! Remember, there is no written contract on the amount and is your word against yours. The hoe I had already had her Haitian passport in possession of the police, so when she demanded the police to my hotel security, I said "ok *****, let's do this." Also, I don't give tips or motoconcho money, because it wasn't negotiated, and I never have problems getting new pussy. I always say "we didn't talk about tip or a ride back to your job." A girl is not going to tell another girl you didn't give her a tip because it males her look lame. And if she does, so what. If you want to give a tip in a country where tips are not a tradition, that's your business and not mine. Dominican, Brazilians, Colombians and etc, do not give tips. Hoes only ask soft ass gringoes for tips. Local men will tell you that gringoes are fucking up and spoiling their hoes with gifts and tips. Mongers should not reward bad behavior!!!!!

    Camaro's Sosua Synopsis June 2014.

Gentleman I just completed my Nagua-Sosua excursion June 10th-18th. This trip is a continuation of my travel odyssey throughout the Dominican Republic, it is my intention to see as much of the island as possible. There have been a few changes on the ground since I was here last that I will share. This synopsis Nagua trip report will cut to the meat of my experience in Sosua and is a companion to my Nagua trip report.

    Casa Valeria on Dr. Rosen.

My first impression of Casa Valeria was "este lugar es tan tranquilo!" It was very quiet and laid back. I felt like this was not a worthy spot to bring back a street rat because I felt so much class when I arrived.

They only take cash or paypal so if you stay here be prepared. My room was comfortable with a digital safe in the closet and a flat screen TV hanging on the wall. There was a mini-bar and refrigerator along with a small pool outside.

Even though the location is on Dr. Rosen with a lot of traffic my room was very quiet and comfortable.

    Sosua Suites on Dr. Rosen.

I am trying different places to stay on my Sosua excursions and this time I am in Sosua Suites on Dr Rosen across the street from Rocky's Restaurant. The WIFI and air are strong however there is only air conditioning in the bedroom. There is a safe in the closet and a switch you have to use if you want to use hot water for your shower.

I like hotel rooms like Victoria House with the view of Sosua Bay and Hotel Sinai with the Jacuzzi but apartments make me feel more at home. The furniture is simple but my initial impression was the vibe made me feel like I was at home and not on vacation.

The location is on Dr. Rosen with a lot of traffic and it backs up to the clubs on Pedro Clisante so noise can be heard way into the wee hours of the morning. The infamous rooster can be heard crowing at dawn, I wish I could put him in a pot boil and stir.

*Both hotels are close to the strip and are very convenient because most everything you need is within walking distance.

    Super Pola.

Super Pola is the new super market in Sosua. I went to Super Pola off Calle Principal at the edge of Sosua expecting to find a mini- La Sirina but. NOT! There was a Claro phone store inside and a couple of other shops but basically it was a grocery / liquor store and I was not impressed.

    Casa de Cambio.

I usually change my money at Western Union Sosua on Calle Prinicpal but it's no sense walking all the way over there when I can walk down the street less than 25 yards and get 42.5 DOP-1 exchange rate and I don't need a passport. Only problem he insist on giving me those pesky 2000 k notes. Cono!

    Calle Pedro Clisante.

Every day after 6 pm Pedro Clisante is closed to automobile traffic from Duarte to Dr. Rosen. It reminded me of Boca Chica but there were chairs and tables put out in front of the establishments with wait staff who waited on those outside as well as inside.

It had a very safe laid back feel with the Politur and Policia Nacional everywhere some riding bikes and others on foot.

Rumbas gets a visit from Darth Vader June 16,2014.

While at Rumbas a white SUV rolled up a gentleman with a suit and tie (he looked like Darth Vader) got out with a uniformed Policia Nacional officer. They went to the back and could be seen going through the books. The music and fancy lights were turned off during the visit from Darth Vader. They left after about 45 minutes. I will not speculate as to the significance as to what I witnessed. During my stay Rumbas was open and business was as usual and was NOT closed.

    The'Latins is closed.

I experienced the last night of the' Latins Thursday, June 12th before I left for Nagua. The Latins was closed on Friday, June 13,2014. I will leave the speculation to others as to the reasons for this action.

    Merengue & Classicos.

Since the Latins has closed much of their traffic has moved to Merengue and Classicos. Merengue remained a chill spot even during the Latins hey day, many people would chill, drink and even order food from the restaurant. I used Merengue as an interview spot once I met women from the Latins on a regular basis. Now with the new changes it looked like the Merengue of days gone by with a modest crowd inside and many people hanging on the street outside the club.

Classicos opens at 11 pm and the cover is 100 DOP, they give you a wrist band so you can come and go. The cover charge does not provide a drink as in days past. I enjoyed sitting in Classicos because it reminded me of the old days. I loved listening to the Latin playlist as well as enjoyed the air-conditioning. It was cool in the early part of the evening but later when it got crowded the temperature inside was more comfortable. It should be noted the playlist for the majority of the night was Latin music but they did play a few American favorites later in the night.

    Sosua chica prices.

The below listed thoughts are for newbies as this subject has been discussed ad nauseum amongst the veterans of this board.

It has been stated "the price of pussy is what you are willing to pay point blank!" After much thought I am shifting to the concept of paying the price of admission as opposed to negotiating the cheapest price. This strategy requires me to know the market value of toto. Although there are reports of men paying 1000-2500 DOP ST, I believe the market value for a reasonably attractive chica in Sosua to be 2000 DOP. In my experience many chicas who perceive themselves as attractive are not accepting offers for less than 2 k and if they do there is a great potential of having sex with an un-happy chica which potentially can lead to other challenges. Therefore as a rule I will offer 2000 DOP for ST and 3000 DOP for TLN. I have and will continue to make exceptions to the rule depending on how much a desire the chica in question.

There has been much debate of 1500 DOP then and 2000 DOP now, however considering the exchange rate was 36 DOP - 1 US and is now 43 DOP- 1 US we still come out approximately even. From a personal perspective I have been to Panama, Costa Rica, Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico and Brazil and I am here to tell you that if you can get an 8 in your eyes for the equivalent of $50.00 you have done well. The reality is in many mongering venues the most attractive women are starting at the equivalent of $100.00 therefore as stated previously each monger should let their conscience be their guide.

I have witnessed the price of toto drop after the initial session if there is a mutual connection between the chica and I, therefore going forward I will pay the price of admission as long as it is within the Sosua market rate and negotiate going forward if I want to continue with said chica.

Always remember "the price of pussy is what you are willing to pay point blank!

    Is Sosua dead?

I have been in Sosua for 5 days out of my 8 days in the Dominican Republic and I have heard and read the Sosua is "blah blah blah. " Everybody dies but everybody doesn't live. We all experience life in different ways and different places. Some have found life in Sousa while others see nothing but death and have constant critiscism. Negatively Sosua is what people describe from the scamming chicas to the corrupt collusion between attorneys and the legal system to scam gringos. However, Sosua is also a place where you can chill on the beach and watch the sunrise and set, you can have a decent meal as well as spend time with old and new friends all while sampling your taste in women. To those who criticize Sosua I ask "is it a floor or a ceiling?" It depends on your perspective.

On this trip I had some mediocre sex but no attempt was made to flim flam me. Was it my interview strategy or was it fate? I don't know but I did not and have not expereinced some of the horror stories I have read about so I will continue to enjoy Sosua until I do not enjoy Sosua.

Is Sosua dead, I say no Sosua is changing. There is no Passions or CMP. The Latins is now closed and after 6 pm the primary section of Pedro Clisante is shut down to vehiclular traffic and tables and chairs are put out so people can chill just like Boca Chica. Classicos has re-opened and Merengue is on fire once again. How long will this last and what plans does the governement have for Sosua? I do not know but as previously stated I will continue to enjoy Sosua until I do not enjoy Sosua.

    Conclusion.

I enjoyed myself and I had a very relaxing vacation and got to experience what was familar in Sosua and what was unfamiliar in Nagua. My next excursion Sosua- Las Terrenace is planned the last week in July and I will report any changes I observe at that time.
Great update, thanks! I'm returning July 3-8 and appreciate your perspective and the thought you put into your report. Bunda.

Yes everything was peachy keen at first. Like I said man she woke up the next morning and flipped the script. Just like when she told Tomjackin to get another girl for a threesome. He went through all the trouble of finding the girl and getting her to it then she backed out, wasting the other girl and Tomjackin's money and time.

    All you guys are wrong!

First, me and Mr E travel the world together and are great friends, but we disagree always on methods to deal with girls. Second, I'm no save a ho but you guys are all wrong.

Lets go over it; Before that night in question the girl was said to be "Tomjackins girl and one of the finest girls in Sosua". The girls initial sex act was "one of my top 5 ever". She didn't argue when her request for a CBJ was rejected (should have been pre-negotiated). She sounds like the perfect girl so far, right? Hell she even stayed till 10 am which is unheard of in Sosua nowadays. In my opinion she went above and beyond the duty.

In my TLN experience usually you fuck at night and in the morning you get a final bang before she leaves or you go get breakfast. She is not required to wait until almost noon for you to wake up horny. Its usually about 7 or 8 am. Shit! She has kids, or somewhere to be. Its up to the guy to see the sun rising, realize he has a boner and tap her on the ass for that final fuck. She was there and he was sleeping. Its not like she woke up at 7 am demanding money so she can go. This girl was a real trooper and hung out patiently waiting to be paid. Maybe she thought he didn't want to fuck anymore, or maybe she wasn't feeling the connection. You guys are all over the girl like she is the worst Sosua has to offer but IMO the window for a morning fuck closed as the next afternoon was fastly approaching.

    The boy code:

Me and Tomjackin have the same girl, we share. I was with her for two days and Tomjackin said he liked her. So when she came to hangout with us (Me, Tomjackin, Mr E) I purposely sat her next to Tomjackin, because I also wanted other options. Tomjackin spent the next two days with her and we all are good friends to this day. If Tomjackin passes me a girl its my duty to make sure I respect her so that he doesn't have some bullshit in his life because of me. Trying to [CodeWord140] on her and argue over 7 USD is not something that I would do. What will be Tomjackins motive for wanting to hook Mr E up with any of his girls in the future? Because of 7 USD Tomjacking probably won't want anymore of his girls hanging out with himself and Mr E. Now Tomjackin has to hear the story about how his friend treated this girl, from the girl. There will be tension when Mr E comes around and the girl is there. And on top of that the girl has wonder if she has lost her"walking ATM aka Tomjackin" forever. I know Sosua is a trick town but when you consider a guy your boy, there has to be pre-approval, its a respect thing. Not sure if Mr E got approved or didn't care (this only applies to regulars).

Mr E is real with who he is and makes no bones about it so you have to accept that. But I know that being our styles are so different that his girls are not for me and my girls usually are not for him.

So all of you guys that are ragging on the chica, give it a break. She went into this with a good attitude and did her best.

I agree on that last line because it is pragmatic. Any adult that equates prostitution with a hourly wage job (or any regular job for that matter) either does not live in the real world or has an axe to grind. US is well known in the world for its position on presumed morality of a man or woman- just ask a politician. If one is not convinced, try suing the female in a US court of law for damages to see if the contract can be enforced to verify if the equivalence theory holds. The whole episode is puerile much ado about nothing!!

Yeah, Mr. E's story is identical to my experience, even to the point that the session was awesome.

I've said this before but it seems the whole deal with Sosua putas is choreographed identically. It's as if there was some Mamasan running a training school, which they all had to pass out of before they were let on the street. "Rule 1. If your customer has a good time, hit him up for more, because he's likely to pay".

Even the requests for WU money look like they were cut and pasted. Could be from any one of them.

Thats how alot of those chicas act. They are cool the first few times, then bug out. Thats just the way it is in DR. Guys tell me it something I'm doing, when it happens to other guys also.

No she said, I have to go. Okay. So if you have to go, how much do I need to give you? You know she said. No I don't. How much do I need to give you? You know she replied once again. I got up to get 1500 pesos and handed it to her. No she said. You have to give me 2500 pesos. I started laughing. I said first of all I told you that I would give you 1800 for all night, and now you don't want to work this morning. So 1500 is all I am giving you. She asked if I wanted her to call the police. I said I don't give a fuck, call the cops. You don't know who I know around here. She called and started talking to one of her friends about the issue.

During that time I decided to watch about 30 minutes worth of shows on my computer. When she did hang up she sat on the bed waiting. For what I don't know. When I finished my shows I got up and put some clothes on and started packing my things. I started wheeling my suitcase to the door and told her that she could stay in the room if she wanted, but I was leaving. She grabbed the handle of my suitcase stopping me from moving towards the door. I told her to un-ass my suitcase. She said no, you give me my money. I said I gave you your money and I'm not giving you anymore since you didn't want to finish the job. As I dragged her and my bag closer to the door she let go then jumped in front of the door to block it. I told her to move but she refused. I said look, you can not kidnap me. Get away from the door. She grabbed the collar of my t-shirt with two hands. I told her to let me go but she would not. I grabbed both her wrists and twisted them to make her let go, then turned her around and threw her on the bed and pinned her down. I told her look, you didn't want to work this morning so I am not giving you another peso. I was able to open the door and slide out into the hall with my suitcase and backpack.

She was in hot pursuit and slapped me on the back of my head as I walked out of the bedroom. I told her first she tries to kidnap me and now she assaults me. She came into the hall and started commotion. The place where I stay is one big house, so next to my room was another room then after that is the end of the hall which opens into a common area. The lady who works there heard the commotion. I told her to get that crazy girl. The girl told the lady that I owed her money. I said no, I gave her 1500 pesos. The girl claimed that I had not given her anything and said that I am supposed to give her 2500 pesos. I said that I had given her the money in the room. She opened her purse showing the little money she had, stressing that I did not give her any money. The lady went into the room and came back with 1500 pesos. She tried to give it to the girl, but she would not accept it. The lady put the money on the table and put something on top to weigh it down because the ceiling fan was on. Tomjackin's girl then said that I was supposed to give her 3000 pesos!

By then two more guys who work there had entered the room. I started laughing heartily and went to give the lady a hug. I said see there. See how she lies. First she was telling you that I didn't give her any money and I owe her 2500 pesos. Now you find the 1500 pesos that I gave her and she wants to say that I owe her 3000. The lady agreed that the girl had gotten caught up in her lies. They asked if the cops should be called. I told them that I didn't care one way or the other, but I was not giving her any more money and promised that this would not turn out the way she thought it would. The girl said she wanted the cops to come. I went down my story for the lady and the two men telling them that when I first saw her on the strip she said she wanted 4000, then she went to 3000, then I told her I would give her 1800 for all night the next night because I was on my way to Puerto Plata. She followed me half way to the house saying why couldn't it be tonight. When I got back to the house I decided not to go to Puerto Plata because it was already 3 am. I called and told her to meet me in front of Europa. She came with me last night and we had sex and went to sleep. Now it is morning and she wants to leave without having sex again, AND wants more money.

I asked the guy who works there how much he makes a month. He said 8000 pesos. I said you make 8000 pesos per month and this crazy girl thinks I would agree to give her 2500 or 3000 pesos for 1 NIGHT? I am not stupid and I have never been a mark.

    Can't argue with the principle.

But when I'm on vacation, I don't need to argue about a bad meal or a bad trick, I just move on, and don't go back.

Others are more vigilant, and good for them.

If I thought I could teach them a lesson that would in any way change their core behaviour, it might not be a such a waste of time, but try to school a puta?

The same scenario happened to me my last time down there. I posted it here. She held out, I held out and because she caved first I saved a couple bucks.

But, If she didn't cave first, I was ready to give her what she asked for just to avoid the escalated drama.
And that is exactly why they act the way they do. For so long mongers have said it's only $7. I don't care if it is 50 cent. If you break the agreement there is no way you should be expecting full payment.

Let's put the shoe on the other foot. Say you are an hourly worker and your boss tells you he needs you to stay two more hours for free. Are you going to say what the hell, it's only 2 more hours? Or are you going to remind him that your overtime rate is time and a half? I'm going to pay what I agreed to if and only if you have fulfilled your side of the bargain.

In my eyes she should have been thinking wow I didn't even finish the job and this guy is still giving me 1500 pesos; only $7 less than if I would have completed the job. I should not gladly be paying full price (or more if she had her way) for a partial job
