I've mongered in Africa several times and never got sick, thanks to using condoms and being careful. You're welcome to decide to not have sex with any African women, but please don't throw around a false statistic.

50% is indeed an exaggeration but there are countries in Africa where 25% of the adult population is HIV+. I am not telling people what they should or shouldn't do but people should make informed decisions.

It's obvious but worth pointing out that Boarer's post that "Africa is home to half the world's population living with HIV' (not AIDS, and there is a difference) is quite a bit different than Calvito's comment that "50% of Africa has AIDS".

According to the WHO web site, the number of people in the world who are HIV+ is around 35.3 million. While "half the world's population living with HIV" is not an insignificant number, it's actually a relatively low percentage of the total population of Africa (close to 1 billion), less than 3% of the total population, not 50%.

And one of the remarkable stories about HIV / AIDS during the last 30 years is that it has not become as widespread as the cynics predicted it would be.

I'm not insulting Africa but it is a fact that they have the highest incidents of Aids, again for me is no no to get involve with an African woman, but this doesn't mean that the rest of the mongers should not get involved, everyone has different parameters and risks limits, for example there are mongers that still are willing to do vaginal sex without condoms, for me this is an insane not worth it risk, but each with its own limits and risks.

Seems very reasonable if you are in HK (Asia) - But why would you go through the process of talking / discussing prices with Colombians / Africans if you have no interest in this group. Maybe I misread the post but it makes no sense.

Because I have been with Colombians in Colombia, and their service, price in attitude in Colombia is soo much better than outside Colombia, besides Colombians in HK are being exploited they shouldn't be there.

This is just my opinion after mongering in several places in the world including Colombia, it's not a fact just my opinion, other mongers may think differently and it's ok.

I was in HK for five days and stayed in the Wanchai area couple of weeks ago.

Visited, Escape, new Makati, HK Cafe and Neptune 2.

Escape and Neptune were very hardcore especially regarding with the drinks, the waitresses constantly pushing for buying drinks and the minute you start talking with a girl they want you to buy a drink, very annoying. Talked to a Colombian that was not allowed to get in Escape unless she was invited by a male so I did so, after talking a while with her she said that she owes about 8000 us dollars to the persons that arranged her visa and flight and that she has been in HK for a week, if she doesn't pay she said these guys can hurt their families, no wonder colombians are very business like in hk. She said that now are so many Colombians that the bar owner of escape only allows in girls that they know to avoid problems with the HK police. I ask her how much to go out ans she said 2000 hk dollars I said and never pay more than 200 us dollars, she said that colombians charge 3000 hk but I said if a go you need to go also per the bar rules as she came with me and I said I offer 200 us. She said Ok but only 1 hour so I said don't like pressure so I left, in addition my own rule is Colombians only in Colombia.

Went then to new Makati but it was very loud, then went to HK cafe which I found to be the best as it had good variety of girls and less pressure for drinks, I met a pretty Indonesian girl (which IMHO are the colombians of Asia) and also initially ask for 2000 HK, I offered 1500 and she want for ST but very nice GFE. Next day I found her again and I offered $1000 HK and she accepted.

One night in Escape I took a Filipino girl for 1000 H K but big mistake as she was ugly once she took off her clothes. Another night didn't take anyone but was doing research and most of the girls start with 2000 HK and depending the night you could negotiate the price down up to 1500, I was offered by a Indonesian girl all night for 1500.
