I was wondering. I am thinking about going to Tijuana in the first week in December (get there on Sunday and then fly back home Thurs or Friday) I figure there would be a lot of girls there because Christmas is right around the corner and not a ton of guys would be there during that time because of the closeness to the holidays and since I would leave before the weekend. Am I wrong in my thinking or am I on target? Also I plan on staying at the Hotel Cascadas, Hotel Caesars, or Hotel Ticuan.
Any tips or things I should rethink?
Any must go places?
I know to not keep valuables on me. (watch, smart, phone, etc).
I plan on taking a taxi to the hotel from the border. (I have a bad knee so walking a lot doesn't work for me).
Also can you just walk into a pharmacy and get 3-4 blue pills?
I am going alone but probably won't be wondering far at all from the HK club and Adelita club. I will probably pick up a SW or two also. Do I need to be very concerned about safety? I have walked around Atlanta, New Orleans, and Seattle alone and felt fine.
Also I will get a membership soon (This board and the USA one has saved me a lot of time and money and deserves it).

I need advise.
I knew that is not safe to go to Tijuana by yourself.
But I don't have any friends to go there.
Is there any group that I can join?

EDITOR's NOTE: This report was edited or deleted because the text contained so many strange abbreviations, misspelled words and local slang that it was literally unreadable. It was so bad that the only way I can describe it was that it looked like English translated into Chinese, then translated back to English, with every third letter subsequently deleted.

Ditto on getting the VIP card. Especially if you are going on a Mon / Tues. And plan on getting a master suite. The card will cost you $50 but you will save $50 each night on the room.
I actually prefer going to HK on weekdays. I would never again go to the Zona on a weekend. Here's the thing, while it is true there are more girls on the weekends there is also way more guys. On a weekend night you will often see all these girls that you would love to hang out with but they are all spoken for already. I also find that its easier to get a good deal ($60) on a weeknight than a weekend. I practice what I preach. My bi-annual trip is gon be Aug. 12-14.

Posts: 994A day trip to Puerto Nevo (Lobster Village)/Rosarito
Pleanty of places to stay in Rosarito. Take a collective minibus ($2) and hop on Mini Bus (geen / white) ($1) to Puerto Nueva (Lobster Village) or Take a ABC bus to Rosarito (every 30 minutes) ($8) and hop on the green / white bus to Puerto Nuevo (Lobster Village). Hope you like lobsters. Taxi fare $10 dollars each way from Rosarito Beach Hotel to Puerto Nuevo.

I will try to answer some of your questions. If this trip is not business related and solely based on mongering, getting a room in San Ysidro or Chula Vista is going to be a total waste of your time. There was a time years ago when I would never consider staying in Tijuana overnight for safety concerns. But I just didn't know any better. Staying at Hotel Cascadas will put you in the heart of the action, and you will most likely be able to find someone to satisfy your needs 24 hrs a day. As far as Mondays and Tuesdays go sure the clubs will be much slower, but that isn't necesarily a bad thing. I know people who won't even venture into the Zona on weekends due to the crowds and the so called sausage fest.
You will definitely want to look into getting the HK VIP card for $50 this will save you 50% on your room at Cascadas on Mondays and Tuesdays along with other benifits such as 1 free drink a day, and a few other things you can find the info on the HK wwebsite under VIP services.
As far as dealing with crossing back to the USA a passport card will be all you need. As for trying to allow enough time to go through customs and catch a flight that is a hard one to predict. When you get to the border you will find a couple different lines the Passport card will allow you to use the ready lane line. This should save you time but you never know. I have crossed on Monday's several times. And even though the general line looks to be about a 2 hour wait I have crossed in the ready lane in 10 minutes. However last week crossing in the ready lane took me around 2 hours. There are a couple different apps out there that will give you an estimate of border wait times, but I have never tried them.
As far as souvenier shopping if you are looking for the standard Mexican trinkets you will find everything you need on Ave. Revolucion which is about a 5 minute walk away from the Zona. Some would consider this a walk through a shady area but you should be ok just use the eyes in the back of your head. Or you could jump in a cab for $3 at the most. If you are looking for higher end shoping you would want to take a cab to Zona Rio about a 10 minute ride away.
The only problem I forsee is you might become addicted. HAVE FUN!!!!

I have been thinking about visiting Tijuana for a while now and what a better time to visit than for my birthday. If you all would be so kind and answer a total rookie's questions please? First of all the only days I could potentially escape work would be on a Monday / Tuesday maybe Tuesday / Wednesday, flying home the next day, are those days alright to visit? Now as I was doing some research on the main clubs in the area I did see the hotels they have. My original plans called for staying in Chula Vista and making the trips down to Tijuana on both days, and then heading back to the airport, but would it be a good idea to stay in Cascadas or Rizo de Oro then heading back the morning of my flight? Since I am really paranoid with travelling I would potentially leave the hotel at like at 8 AM for a late afternoon flight would I be cutting it too close with the border wait times? I do have both the passport card and my passport, the passport card should suffice right?
A few more things, and I'll stop boring you guys with my newb questions. Pricing for the hotels show a price that says online reservation only, and reading the forum I am understanding that it would be a waste of my time to even get a reservation. I would be interested in getting the Master Suite room at either Cascadas or Rizo de Oro. At Cascadas the room is $100 and Rizo is $80 how much should I look to pay extra by just walking in?
Also with the women, I know there is something for every taste there, but I follow someone on Facebook and sometime last year she posted a picture of a Hong Kong girl named Maki, I would be extremely interested in getting to know her, does anyone know if she is still at Hong Kong? I do plan on maybe getting to meet 4 maybe 5 women, should be a good time right? One last general Tijuana question, is the mall easily accessible from the Zona Norte? Might want to do some souvenier shopping.
Some of these questions might sound extremely idiotic, but I am a complete rookie at making trips like this. I appreciate and welcome any advice. TIA!

I think the best option would be to fly out from the Tijuana airport to another destination in Mexico like maybe Mazatlan. Cabo would be nice but that is a 24 hour bus ride.
You'd be better off enjoying some time in SD if nice beaches and good food is what you wish. Coronado Encinitas La Jolla all have beautiful beaches and you can get to them via a bus / trolley transfer much easier than you could by taking a bus to a Baja beach from Tijuana.
Stay in Chula Vista at Motel 6 for $45 a day.
Another option would be to get a room in Playas Tijuana for $20.

Heading over to Tijuana in mid August for my quarterly trip. Although this year I have only been there once. This will be my second and probably last time for the year as I am also heading to Colombia later in the year as well.
The only positive this time is I will have a few more days and want to make the best of it. I am well versed on the Zona and how to go about things but I want to venture out this time to a nice beach / restaurant / relaxing area. I have read a bit about Rosarito which is probably the closest bet but I am not sure if I should check it out.
Anyone been there and highly recommend it? What are some restaurants / bars / hotels that I can check out? Also, wondering if I can get some girls via an agency to go straight there?
Thanks for any tips.

Posts: 61I took a short nap again after my third try in 12 hours and went out again around 2:00 am. A sweet looking thing caught my attention (actually she grabbed me) near Adelitas and Los Glorias. Her price was 300 pesos and after a bit of talking she agreed to go to Cascadas instead of her "usual" hotel. She was a beautiful girl about 21 years old. I was spent by now and was not able to complete the job but I did have a nice time and she felt great, a really great looking girl who I will try again on my next trip!! After spending several hours enjoying the Hong Kong shaving cream shows, I went to bed. The next morning I went looking for Natalia but could not find her. I ended up with another girl near the back entrance to Cascadas. I think her name was Jazmine (at least one other girl was named Jazmine). Overall a nice performance and well worth the 250 peso price of admission. By late in the afternoon, I got talked into going into Play Boy Club. I was introduced to a really hot babe who did not speak English but she was HOT. I bought a beer for me and ordered one for her. She was busy talking to a friend and decided not to waste her time on me. This is the only time I have been rejected by a hooker (I'm not gross or fat either). I was already invested in the place so I let another descent looking girl join me and provide me with a couple of table dances. She agrees to go to my hotel for $40. As we are about to leave, I am informed about the $48 bar fine for taking a girl out. By now she has peaked my interest and I agree despite my better judgment. She gave great head and seemed to be getting into it. We tried at least five positions (her sugestions) but I was having a very hard time finishing what was started. She, on the other hand, she was coming over and over and would not stop even though I doubted I could not finish. The bar guy from her club actually came to Cascadas and called to tell her time was up. She kept coming and going until I came. I felt like I ran a marathon but when I crossed the finish line I felt great (but exhausted). I saved my energy over the next few hours and found a really sweet 19 year old on the side street near Los Glorias and brought here back to my room. Another really great SW! By now it was 4 of 5 SW who were great! Normally all you get from a SW is one position unenthused boring sex (kinda like with my wife). I spent the next few hours checking out the bars and lesbian shows before calling it a night.
