I cannot speak for others, but this is my attitude to passing on phone numbers to strangers:

I would not recommend any chica whom I was not 95% sure was honest, would give value for money service, and no trouble.

Such chicas are rare and I would consider them more or less "friends". And I am not going to entrust any friend of mine to a complete stranger who might ill-treat her or cheat her. We have plenty of posters on here who admit to ill-treating chicas. Some even boast about it.

And even though the chances of that happening are small, how do I know the chica I recommend is to that guy's taste? Members proudly post pictures of "conquests" here who I would not fuck if they paid me. And no doubt the reverse would be true. We all have very different tastes.

In past years I have recommended chicas, but often it did not turn out well. Either the guy complained afterwards or the chica did, even though I would have been with the chica many times very satisfactorily previously. Why should I have to hear those complaints when I was only trying to help?

If someone cannot find their own good chicas in Sosua they should give up this hobby and take up pressing wild flowers instead. Though as a newbie you should budget for a 20% failure rate (wasted money). This percentage will diminish as you gain more experience with subsequent trips. Even ex-pats and very experienced visitors probably strike out 5% to 10% of the time (though not all admit to it).

The best help anyone can give you is to persuade you to read up here and on other boards so you learn to recognize some of the more common pitfalls. There is plenty of sound practical advice posted, though it takes time to dig it out. One bit of advice I would give you here. Do NOT ask local men to find you chicas or accept their help in doing so. They will find you nothing you cannot find yourself and will just scam you (or possibly a lot worse if you go off the beaten track with them).

I do believe in "bro's before ho's" but no-one here is my "bro" until I have known them at least a year and even then some diappoint me.

I am in love with the DR variety. Its culture say is ok for a 60 year man to be with a 20 chica. Even if its just business. I watched on Saturday night the girls lining up at 10 PM and waiting to get inside. It get's very crowded inside, its loud, and the AC wasn't all that great. Imagine what this place would be like in the Winter, you wouldn't be able to move around. Yes there was a parade of well dressed hotties entering the place, but they are the same exact ones who were at Latins. At Latins you could hang out by the entrances on the street or just on the inside and see everyone going in and out and circulating out onto the street, into Central Bar, etc. There was a certain flow at Latins that I liked. Just my two cents.

I agree they both had a good one two combo going on to attract the crowd in and outside. The same thing happen in BC when the 2 clubs were side by side. It created a nice place to congregate the crowd. 1 club closed vibe gone and crowd.

I didn't see the smaller bars really benefiting from the closing of the'Latin, however, I didn't give the smaller club much attention. Just small observations. I will agree the chicas seem to dress nicer.

You would be incorrect sir, and your interpretation is flawed. It's not a question of preferring Classicos, although I do like it a bit better. The reason I like the system of Classicos and the other bars is that Classicos isn't big enough to be the "only" spot as the'Latins was. The'Latins became essentially the entire strip at night, whereas that wasn't the case before it existed in its current incarnation. I preferred the more mobile chicas and client flow through all the bars rather than having everything reside in a single bar, for all intents and purposes. It provided better variety of music and atmosphere, and made it easier to see the mass of chicas as a whole.

Yes, I thing it's a good thing for the scene that D'Latins is closed and I hope it stays that way.
