OK! Are you indicating that 1000 for 24 hours is just a normal price? That's awesome. But it isn't what I heard from the agencies other than Felinas. So, yes, it is the felinas 6 hour price x 4. Starcris quoted me over 900 for an extended 10 hours pernoite (they just multiply their 180 for 2 hours times 3). With the 300 per hour the freelancers quote, I can't quite imagine them all agreeing to a 1000 for 24 hours. But it's worth a shot next time. I quite liked the experience of being picked up from the airport. It had such a personal touch. And she was there right on time.

We ended up trying as an item, but it was not to be. She was cute though. I'd say a 7 by face and an awesome butt a sharp waist (despite that "soft" belly) and nice big soft tits. If you go and hit the same chick 2/3 times in a row in a Terma or privee and she wants to link you outside-tell her you'll also come back to terms for her (do it once) just to let her know you'll still put some change in her pocket. The house I am talking about was near the Marriott. It definitely did not have any signs or markings on the house and it appear unoccupied. (lights were never on, broken windows, etc.).

Your pictures shows Casa da Pedra, R Santa Clara. It was demolished in October last Year. It was sold for R$32 millions. A hotel will be constructed. The house belonged to a 101 years old woman, Zilda, who died in May 2012.

I enjoyed looking at the pamphlet -- I found it funny the way the termas were described! Nice flowery terms, haha! A first-time visitor to Rio might be a confused by all the "spa-talk" and assume that they are legitimate spas! The sex part of it is so strongly downplayed.

On to more current and accurate descriptions of the termas. In Bubba Boy's guide to Rio, I became interested in Termas 65 for next Monday. I'm only in town for next weekend, plus Monday, but Termas 65 was written about in a way that made it sound like a good place to go on a Monday. I have never been to a termas before, so this would be my first visit to one. I guess I could go to MC on Sunday, too, which would make that my first termas visit. Do you guys have any opinions on T 65? Comparisons / constrasts between T 65 and 4 x 4 and MC?

I have read the recent stuff on Solarium, Centaurus, MC, and 4 x 4, but haven't seen anything about T 65. Any thoughts / opinions?

Termas 65 is a cool place. It's a lot more chill than 4 x4, but also has a lot fewer girls. The boite is pretty small. It's a rectangle with 1/4 of the room having a more "intimate" area even though it's still part of the same room. The best day of the week for going there, in my experience, has been on Thursdays.

The girls are attractive, with only 1 or 2 stunners. Similar talent to Monte Carlo, maybe a little better than MC. Termas 65 used to have really great talent, but that was probably over 4 years ago.

The prices are high for a Centro terma. It's R$360 for 40 minutes, i.e. , R$90 for the entrance, R$70 for the room, and R$200 for the girl. I'm not sure what the price is for 1 hour, I think it's R$450. They increase the price if you pay everything by credit card. However, for example, if you do a 40 minute session and pay R$200 in cash for the girl and then the rest on the credit card, then there is no change in price.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays they have a promotion where R$40 of the entrance fee goes towards consumption of drinks. I guess those are the slowest days for them, so they need to have that promotion to try to draw more customers in.

Mondays are generally slow for all termas because the girls seem to party on the weekends and don't like to come into work on Mondays even though they don't have to show up until the afternoon. Your best bet would probably be 4 x4 on a Monday just because of the quantity of girls and some decent quality. Otherwise, you're taking a risk of wasting an entrance fee going into an upscale terma where there aren't that many girls or a lot of the girls "call in sick" that day.

If beach front apartments are currently going for 7-10 million dollars, I can only imagine how much money they got for the land. Someone must have made them an offer they couldn't refuse.

I was there two saturdays ago. I have visited this place on and off for 11 yrs now. There are some decent looking women in there. However, they are not on par with the prices. I am not refering to service, more about appearances. I beleive that some of the hotest babes are in Europe, and they have no intrest in being in Rio during Brazil's winter. I paid for entrance, had a couple of drinks while catching up with an old flame, and then headed out. I didn't partake in any cabina action.

As for Solarium, over priced as well. I always had the luxury of taking a gal back the cabina or not. However, prices are so out of hand, better off getting their phone number, and setting something up outside.

Going to be interesting to see if one day the economy hits the crapper, and see if and how they adjust their prices. At soem point they have to price themselves out of the game. Time will tell.

Well, now this is a disappointing report. I mean, what exactly do we mean by "prices getting out of hand"? Is 400 reias a lot of money? About $175 USD, yes? Is that a lot? I don't think so. Well, I will try to visit two places, but oddly enough, 4 x 4 might not be one of them! But I think I can write up both MC and T 65! The thing that I find off-putting about 4 x 4 is that Bubba Boy has described it as somewhat "gangsta", and by that he means tattoos and such. (He might also mean mulattas and morenas, which, for me, is unattractive.).

I should comment a bit as a newbie. I have read the posts, and they are mostly from highly experienced mongers. To most experienced mongers who read these boards, it is probably just another day at the office. No big deal. But I should point out, that when a newbie chances across these boards, it is absolutely shocking (at first). It is hard to believe that certain people have such a "commitment" to the hobby! I am not judging at all, but please realize that it is quite astonishing for someone new to come across all this stuff! The most shocking thing is to come across this type of stuff by Patmar Beleza and Ibn Buttita, on page 106 of this Rio reports forum, but I do realize it is just part of getting used to this very special culture here! I just can not believe the strong level of commitment that I read about on pages 106 and 107, especially by Ibn Buttita. It just seemed like he put so much effort into pre-trip research and post-trip writing, and, of course, the extreme effort he put in during the trip itself, that I was just blown away! I do hope that I can achieve that level of commitment in the future, but I believe those who do so are very rare and special!
