At least the shops in Thailand don't seem to have devolved into adopting "Brazilian economics. " There it seems whenever a termas sees a decline in customers they raise their rates to make up for the lost business. Not exactly an economic model that would qualify one for the Nobel Prize in economics.

One would think that more shops the more competition to give good service, but it has not worked out that way. The "better" looking girls know they can work in a shop that is less demanding than the PSE shops, so the PSE shops have had to become more lenient to keep their "lookers;" hence we have a lower service bar.

Of course P4 P seems to operate under its own set of rules as many dudes will pay anything when poon in concerned.

Don't count out price increases due to lack of customers. The "Brazilian" model you speak of is alive and well here.

In the "biz" it is no longer about the customer, its about the provider. A friend who owns several bars said to me about 5 years ago, "The girls used to work for me; now I work for them. " This has certainly become the case with fewer gals going into the biz due to higher salaries all around here in LOS. I am certain the oily owners have issues with retention as gals can jump ship at any point.

Frankly I think the high point of oilies was just after Snow and Mango opened. 3 PSE shops stocked with pretty good looking gals who would all for the most part do anything.

I certainly remember taking Bo at Mango on what was her second or third day on the job. Nestle, who knew me from Tulip, told Bo to give me good service, and man, it was a hell of a ride.

In this regard, the last couple of times I visited Mango only about 20 percent (2 of about 10) of the girls offered anal. I don't know whether this was aberrational or indicative of a trend at that shop, or maybe at oilies in general. The absence of a "butt penalty" is only meaningful to the extent more than a minimal number of girls at the shop partake in giving that service. But yeah, when I earlier spoke about the prices at Bamboo being higher than their competition, I was focusing primarily on the 500 baht surcharge for anal, not so much the 100 baht higher overall fee for a session (assuming it is still that), even though I'm not quite sure how they even justify the latter.

I broke my unofficial boycott of the place only because I was with a friend at Nana, it was close to closing time for the oilies, and we could get to Bamboo faster than the other places. Other than close proximity to Nana, I saw nothing there that justifies their elevated pricing.

And moving to a related subject, I wonder whether the one-shot shops realize how much business they are losing by adhering to that policy. At least I have to assume they are losing a significant amount of business as a result.

Until they discover the two (or multiple shot) joints.

Thanks Brother to mention this in this forum. In SW / Cherry / Mango you will get multiple as much as you can so I will avoid Boss for sure.
