I think the general policy is 1-shot for most of massage places, with any extras to be negotiated, depending on the girl. And that negotiation is not pleasant (and if you're already up in the room, you're at a disadvantage).

The one shot shops may not actually be losing business as there could be several punters out there who are just aware of these one shot shops and believe that a conventional 1-2 hours at the MP entails only 1 pop and is the norm where as 2 shots is the exception. Until they discover the two (or multiple shot) joints.

I know all the oilies, soapies, teen and fashion massages. What I fancy are mom and pop massage shops where you get FS from - (apparently) amateur housewives. Ie. Normal small ordinary Thai massage places with 30-40 yo ladies that offer more than a HJ (and proactively initiate it); none of the 1,500-places but rather a 300-place that tried to upsell.

Any recommendations?

There are no hard and fast rules about finding such a place. I have had FS in the larger 300 baht massage places including the places that only have 2 cubicles where the walls do not meet the ceiling. A lot of the time it depends on the owners, whether they really police the place or are afraid of the cops or having to pay off the cops.

I have found that any of the small places that are still open late, such as after midnight, are more likely to offer FS. And sometimes it is a good idea to go there when the shop is quiet.

There are the "in-between" places which appear like mom-and-pop stores but are ready for FS. I found a couple down ski 22 that were like that but cannot remember the names. But often I have managed to get FS in a place and the next day it is not on offer from another girl on different shift.

The trick is to always ask for oil massage so that you get an enclosed space. Sometimes there may only be a curtain on the doorway but that is the way it is. If you get a girl you like who gives a HJ, perhaps if you ask for her during your next visit you will get something more. You have to ask as the lady won't offer anything more than HJ, if they offer at all. Instead, you have to sweet-talk them into something more. Usually I offer 1,000 baht tip beyond the cost of the massage. It is important to be really clean for these girls as I have heard a girl turn down a customer for FS (through the thin walls) and her friend whispered to me me that it was because he had not showered recently. If they offer a shower, take it unless your hotel is 5 minutes away and you just showered and used deo there.

I frequent the Mangos and Tulips and other professional FS places too but it is nice sometimes to wander into some of these other 300 baht places. Sometimes all you get is HJ but sometimes the experience is really GFE FS (I turn on the charm. They are used to demanding Westerners and sulky Asians and respond well to someone who is relaxed and nice). Another great benefit is that you are fairly sure that the girl has not had to FS 5 guys ahead of you and is probably bored kneading the fat of a bunch of whiney older foreign ladies.
