i am considering the hotel alila jakarta, the morrissey hotel, the grand mercure jakarta harmoni, and possibly the borobudur hotel for next time. they are all reasonably priced hotels, have good reviews on trip advisor, have outdoor swimming pools, and most importantly are gf.

i don't think there is anything more positive i can say about jakarta than that i am returning and staying longer than the first visit. to me, jakarta was like discovering an unknown asian planet inhabited by beautiful, sexy and charming girls. i found jakarta girls as pretty as bkk girls and as friendly as manila girls. and that is saying quite a lot.

i mean wtf? are indonesian women so [CodeWord134]-ed off with being jerked around by phonies and playboys that they're now targeting the honest-to-god, decent, wholesome married dudes (who are in fact phonies and playboys pretending to be honest-to, oh forget about it, my head's beginning to hurt following all this stuff).
