Definitely worth visiting. They are unspoilt and off the tourist trail. They are patronized by the local mafia and wealthy Thais.

There are several classes of brothels. The cheap ones start at 300 B-600 B and are shit. Some of the girls are nice looking, but the rooms are dingy and dirty. Not recommended.

In the nice places they start at 1500 (90 minutes).

Amazing quality and performance. Very good looking girls that fuck like professionals, MUCH better than the bar girls.

Before saying RTFF, I've done my research and want some personal up to date recommendations for Patong. Which massage? Which go go bar? Which nightclub is the best?

Any good massage options in Patong besides Christines (which I read costs well over 2 k baht).

I will be in Phuket starting tomorrow and was so desperately looking for an update. Like you, I am getting older and like to get busy by 9. I am only here for a couple of days so any pointers at who to pick from which massage parlour will be great.

I like your suggestion on trying out the massage places. I am staying in Patong.

My hotel, Salathai is on Sawatdirak and has plenty of what we need. My favorite bars (tastes vary) were Cowboy Bar and Lobos Bar.

Cowboy is directly across from Salathai and has girls as early as 5 pm. My personal favorite is Mach. I met her on Saturday, but didn't take her home until Tuesday. I kept her until Saturday morning when I left. Her car-side hug and kiss still haunt me. There is no GFE like a Thai GFE my friend.

Lobos Bar is on the same side of the road as Salathai Resort, about 50 M toward the beach road. Their girls might come out a bit later maybe 7-9 pm, but they are worth the wait.

My two favorite massage places were Be Well Spa and another one directly next to Rosco's Bar.

Be Well Spa is right next to a Family Mart on Sawatdirak on the opposite side of the street nearly across the street from Lobos Bar. You can find it easily. I highly recommend little (or Lily). She will take care of you there or at your hotel. She was a bit pricey for the hotel visit but negotiable and worth it.

If you walk East up Sawatdirak (against traffic, away from the beach) and turn left, look for Rosco's Bar. Directly next to it is another massage place (forgot the name) that I didn't want to leave. They had a great variety of gals, very breasty and even a pair of 19-year old twin sisters. Now, keep in mind the twins only gave happy-ending HJs but several of the others were FS. Spent a very enjoyable week in Patong, Phuket. The information in the forum and from a few Senior members via PM was quite helpful.

I chose to rent a car from Hertz at the airport to keep from paying two big taxi bills but more importantly to see the island. During the day, I traveled the entire island looking at views and potential retirement spots. The only other time I drove was to the mall because of the monsoon rains. The car was very affordable and fully ensured, so it brought great transportation and peace of mind. However, for simple mongering it isn't needed.

I stayed at Salathai Resort booked from Travelocity and I have no complaints except that it is very difficult to separate the key from the magnet device that keeps the AC on during your absence. So, I followed the advice, went to Big "C" and bought magnets to keep power on when out of the room.

All information in this forum is still applicable for instance: Kristin's massage is a great place for a soapy. I was charged 3 k ($100) for 75 minutes of pure pleasure.

One little habit I found enjoyable was to choose a hot massage girl at her shop, get the 200 bht foot massage and chat her up, send another one of the massage staff out to get a coffee or drink (for a small tip), enjoy the drink, the massage, and sort of get to know the girls a bit. From that point, I could judge which one I might want to take back to the hotel or have right there. I prefer this to siting in the bar, trying to talk over loud music, sweating, paying bar fines, getting asked to buy bull $hit lady drinks, etc. Anyone else try this?

Overall it was week of bliss, but nothing that hasn't been posted.

Kata beach I always liked, could get there by scooter from Patong and sit on the beach on a deck chair and the sea was clean. But went there today and it has been stripped of deck chairs and all the drink huts have gone, I've no idea why? I did see one of the Thai chair renters beat up two Russians with a stick once, one for some argument over a drink and one was over a chair.

This is a result of a "cleanup" campaign launched by the junta that has taken over Thailand. They're going after unlicensed businesses set up on the beaches -- chair rentals, restaurants, etc. , even demolishing some illegal structures. Also supposedly going after the taxi mafia. (Good luck with that.).

Coming right up. I'm going back after lunch. For reference the place is on the same side of the street as "Madras cafe" (about 300 m away), just get out of Jung Ceylon, turn right and keep walking. It is the first obviously offering extras place on the other side of the road (about 500 m walk).

If you're driving you should park your car at Jung Ceylon. It's only 20 B for a few hours.

Thanks D Cups for the info. That is the impression that I had about Phuket. I will be arriving into Thailand on August 6 and will stay in Bangkok for a couple of days as I unwind from the Long flight from Washington DC. I am mixed as to where I should go after Bangkok, Phuket or Pattaya. If I do decide in Phuket and this is my first time, I am mixed where to stay in Phuket. I was leaning toward Patong since it has that street with alot of action and I can always rent a scooter and go to the other places.

Since I have been to Pattaya many times and I am looking to relax on a beach that why I am leaning to Phuket. But as I have read the place is slow pace and control by Russian Mob. Any comments or suggestion I would be most appreciative.

Bangkok and Pattaya are dirty, Bangkok is especially dirty in the rains.

As for Phuket, I've only been here for a couple of days now but I really am impressed. It is amazing. Just the right blend of relaxation and adult fun. Lots of clean beaches. Many pristine islands nearby. Most of it looks better in reality than any picture can do justice to it. Very laid back vibe. And tons of non hooker related stuff to do. I don't want to leave.

Patong is as dirty and brash as Pattaya. And the roads all over are narrow and winding with potholes. Also, there is no public transport to speak of.

But I can live with that, given the plethora of activities and the views from the beaches. For me it really is paradise found.

I'm staying in Karon and have an amazing view that opens up right to the beach and ocean, for $800/ mo incl breakfast. Waking up to the view feels like a million bucks. But it's not safe to swim in Karon in the rains. Yesterday I drove out to Nai Harn and that was fantastic too. PM me if you want the name of my hotel.
