    Dominicana wife

I have stared meeting dominicanas online.

Are they worse (better) than colombianas?

If I met this babe, Laura 24, or Remmi 28, are they to be considered semi-pros, right from the start?

As you notice, I'm a total newbie on DR.

In Colombia it's easy to meet beautiful girls, online, in real life, asking out a prepago etc, it's easy, I heard/red it is even more relaxed in DR!

Are they jealous like colombianas, like crazy?

I'm tall, white, 44 why-o, and I like the cafe con leche-thing. And many times it's mutual.

Well, I will start do the theoretical homework and the first rounds of comunication with those girls.

Colombianas and venezolanas are in general more beautiful, but dominicanas seem to counter with Real asses, not fakes, like their colombianas sisters.

    Thank you.
I use tagged and Hi5 and had success with both sites. I tried Badoo but somewhat I did not like it and it did not work for me.

    Boriman,

Thanks bro. I been looking at Caribe Paraiso. It looks nicer and starts from $28/ night (sin cocina) and Not facing beach. And that's the one I'm leaning towards so far. They offer better deals per week and month.

Plan is hotel, host family (Habitacion) and eventually my own place renting. In that order!!

    Good looking out.

I know of others who have stayed there and they liked it. I never spent time there but did see the rooms and they were nice. The ones facing the beach they charge more for. Also, some of the rooms you do not have to pass a guard or front desk so noone knows your business.

    Juan Dolió accommodations!

I've decided to stay in Juan Dolio initially and will explore later on.

What do you all recommend on where to stay?

I been doing search online and I dicovered a place called "La Siesta Apartment" anyone been there? It seems decent and low cost. But there is vertually no info on it. Can't even find contact number!

I chose Juan Dolio because it is the closest "CLEAN" beach to SD.

    P. s: I'm in a similar quest like Camaro's and have no interest in BC. Based on RTFT and the generous advice I got from you guys, I've decided to bypass BC even though it's slightly closer to SD.

Sometimes the airline agents may overlook this, but you cannot absolutely count on it. It could be that the screens viewed by agents require checking a box on correct documentation for some airlines, but not for others, or that some airlines allow agents to override this. I really don't know.

It is also entirely possible that you could arrive in the DR without a showing a passport to the airline in the US, but then you would definitely have problems at the airport in the DR.

So what you are saying is it might be a problem w / some airliners. But you didn't say how will DR immigration react once there!

I flew with AA, United and continental one way flights before and never had issues. I just want to make sure it isn't an issue in DR airport!

And thanks for the caution on Spirit airline. I never flew them before.

    Return ticket

Jet Blue always asks me for a return ticket when I am flying to the DR. If you don't know when you want to come back but need a return ticket you can purchase a refundable ticket from Jet Blue. It costs more but you can cancel it and get your money back. Then when you are in the DR you can buy the ticket for the date you decide to come back.

One solution, if you have a computer or smartphone with you is to buy a return ticket while you are at the airport checking in, and then show it to them. By using an app like Kayak or Cheapoair, you can probably research which flights you would buy if forced to buy one to be able to travel, so you can be prepared.

Another thing you can do, if you genuinely don't know when you will return is to buy the very cheapest flight you can find out of the DR to the US, possibly a Spirit airlines flight from Santiago to Fort Lauderdale, or Spirit out of SDQ, or maybe a flight to to San Juan or Providentiales, with the intention of using that as a throwaway ticket, although if you can get it for a date when you MIGHT use it, at least you have that option open to you and can buy the connecting flights later. Incidentally, you can also get a very cheap (almost free) train from Fort Lauderdale airport to Miami International Airport to widen your flight options for connections.

Anyway, if they do let you board with the one-way ticket, then you are home and dry, but always better to have a backup plan so that you don't panic and overpay for a ticket bought at the last moment.

American Airlines allows you to put a 24 hour hold on a ticket cancelable at no charge, they give you a confirmation number along with it. Once you are checked in to your flight you can cancel it.
