Yes Rumba's yielded one shark and one decent chica. The chicas who hang out just outside the door to the place are even worse, but I've had enough self control not to sample them. Rumba chicas are like the predators in Predator vs Alien. They size you up with laser and infrared assisted eyeballs and home in for the kill without remorse!

I just got back from Sosua yesterday. Right now, Rumba is ground zero for night action in sosua and I didn't find any other spot that comes close. Day action can be found in other ways, but more on that later to stay on topic. I've only seen Classico packed with good chicas only one night out of my stay. During the weekdays, just a few tourists dancing with their friends amongst themselves which looks kinda sad. Plus it's the Rumba chichas moving to Classico anyway, so the same chicas.

It's best to see Rumba as a Blackjack table that pays out in good / bad chicas or good / bad pussy. As you can hit, stay, split, double up, and use strategies to up your odds in blackjack, you have some controls to up your odds to get good chicas as well. Interviewing, observing, moving around, dance, buy / deny drinks and see how chicas react, have a pleasant conversation if you speak Spanish, negotiate really hard on price and so on.

Also, another hidden factor is that all the chichas are watching all the guys / potential customers in Rumbas. Far more chicas in Rumba than there are men, most of the chicas are just sitting in their chairs watching you. They know what you drink, how much can you drink, how much you already drank, do you have a ego, are you fun, are you annoying, can you dance, how much money you spend, which chica you took out already, how long you took her out and everything you did the previous nights. Some of the chicas already knew my hotel room before I even got to Rumba. Rumor mill does work overtime in Sosua whether it is accurate or not.

Ultimately, it is random chance. You can have 20 bad chicas in a row as you can have 20 good chicas in a row. Even one bad chica is demoralizing. Like the house always wins in blackjack, bad chicas happen. Time, energy, and money wasted. And if she is hitting you up for more money or having shitty attitude in 3 am, it really sucks. The fact that you have to pony up the money just to find out if you have a bad chica again is something to make any man pause. Just like blackjack you have to pay to play again.

On a brighter note, not only did I have bad WTF moments from Rumba chicas, I found my best "wow, you really exist" chicas in Rumba. Unlike blackjack you get to keep the good chicas in your rotation. And I can tell you for certain, that is a beautiful thing.

Hi all,

Went to Sosua for a couple of days for my first P4P trip. Now back home and consolidating my notes right now. Much to talk about. I don't have any comparable to other destinations or even Sosua to of previous years, but I have much to talk about my time there. Hopefully it would be of value to someone else reading this forum. Even with all the reading and preparations, I made many mistakes, some repeatedly which is quite embarrassing. Sosua can be completely crazy. A constant cycle to breaking my ego, not meeting expectations, getting frustrated, pleasant surprises, good times, and lucky breaks. Overall it was one of the most memorable mixed experiences I ever had. I have to say I felt I was very fortunate on my trip. And thank you for those who assisted one way or the other. I will post my report well before the Superbowl weekend so you guys can have some tips before you go.

Been here for a few days and have to say either my mongering skills are going downhill or the Sosua chica union is getting to be too formidable for me to deal with anymore. I've never been one to advocate the "wifeing up" procedure but I'm getting to think that might be the answer to the consistently crappy rushed service I'm getting from these ladies. Perhaps finding one you are compatible with and sticking with her is the way to go. I've had several days to sample (pics to follow in a few days when I'm out of the country) several chicas and invariably they are promising more than they deliver, don't want to kiss, very little in any GFE, sometimes reluctant to let me DATY and in general a rushed and very businesslike pain in the ass. When I can drag the process out a little as soon as I nut they are practically BOUNCING out of the rack to jump in the shower and get their clothes back on and then hassle me about more money, propinas and motoconche money. I've honestly just about had it, and believe me, this ain't my first rodeo either here or in other well known mongering destinations. The only really good experience I've had so far is with a very plain looking chubby chica who I would NEVER give a second glance to; met her at a beach bar I hang out at and she was a friend of the owner and seemed sweet despite being "poco gordo"(a little fat). Ended up being totally GFE and a lot of fun in the rack and nice company for dinner. Proves that fat chicks need lovin too!!

I commend you for being brave enough to admit on this forum that you went with a fugly. I doubt most guys would do this. I'll be on the ground in Sosua tomorrow and will be wifeing up for part of the trip and doing some sport-fucking as well. This works for me as I get all the GFE I can handle along with some variety.

Sounds like it is time to head for greener pastures, and not necessarily going elsewhere. I think Surfer mentioned he had great success finding chicas online to come and visit him in Sosua. You are staying at Mary Rose, which is away from the main strip. This is good. Invite them to come to visit you, using the beach as a selling point. Just don't bring an out of town chica to a h0e barn like New Garden or any hotel near the strip for that matter. I would say a good number of folks in the DR know what goes on in Sosua, so no chica you invite there (who is not a pro) wants to be seen as a puta. The further away you are removed from the puta scene, the better. Maybe even consider double booking in Cabarette. That way if your online chica flakes or doesn't want to give up the toto on the first meet, you still have the pros on the Sosua strip to fall back to.

Oh, I wasn't suggesting to do all of this on your current trip. Just something to think about for next time.

I have never been one to steer anyone wrong about mongering. I would not recommend the average monger go to Bogota, Cali, Barranquilla, or expensive ass Cartagena. But Medellin is a horse of a different color. Now I will say that both me and my wingman speak Spanish which could make adventures more fun than trying to figure out what a chica is telling you or how to get your message across to her.

Mr. E I concur with your take on Colombia and Medellin, however I found Cali to be somewhat similar to Medellin but on a smaller scale and did have a good time there. And yes, for a monger with no Spanish skills, it can be difficult. Especially dealing with the Chicas in the Avenida De La Grief area of Medellin.
