If I remember correctly cheapest Vodafone prepaid sim-card cost 2500 HUF (less than 9 euros) and that includes 10 minutes or something like that phone calls (inside Hungary), should be enough for our hobby. And not too expensive to throw away after leaving the country.

Didn't heard about it mate, even it's not that easy to catch girls with Mobile phones, not all of them reply, so emails could be a bit more difficult and only if you are really lucky.

Well I would try to give answer from my experiences, AIRBNB is best, much better than booking a hotel room and for 20 to 30 Euros you can have really really nice places.

Well buying a simcard is easy from Airport, would cost 15 Euros, I am using mine (German) on Roaming as cost is same. I have used this sites twice, it needs some efforts because not everybody responds, though in website you can find that what languages they speak but again options becomes narrow. Highs and Lows of Budapest.

Just back from Budapest, here's my report.

Day 1.

I'd been working and traveling all day and was v tired and by the time I had got the keys for the apartment I rented it was already quite late. I decided to head out for a couple of beers before going to bed and as it was recommended by Belvaros and close to my apartment I headed to Old Mans Pub on Akacfa Utca.
