Thank you again. In your last post, in the first two or three lines you mentioned "2000 dollars" and "3500 dollars." I assume you meant taka.

By the way, to me there is nothing sexier than an exotic, young Burmese or Begali tribal girl. Do you think I could find one or more for 1,000 taka or less?

Hey yeah you got that right. My buddy paid 2000 dollars for one night but that is with a mid range girl.With a slightly better looking girl he paid 3500 dollars which I think is pretty steep for Bangladesh but its ok (thats about say close to 60 bucks). The girls in the tribal area and this I know by seeing my buddies go for it runs from 300 - 1000 taka max. These girls like I said are tribal or indigenous people from that area.Mostly Burmese or Bangladeshis with Burmese ethnicity. These girls do not go a penny over 1000 taka and that is giving too much.So dont pay over 1000 my personal opinion that is. Incidentally,I must tell you that I was approached by two very good looking girls at the Bar at Sonargaon Hotel(Upstairs Bar) and that was kinda weird, as these girls somehow knew who I was and told me that I could have a good time with them.Now in Bangladesh that simply does not happen and I saw them on 5 different occasions during that time span.I asked my regular waiter who they were and he confirmed that one of them was a model wanna be and they cater mostly to the Korean customers at the Bar. So I guess that is interesting.But I look forward to your report on the hotel at Cox's bazar ,I have seen the girls for myself and I have heard so much about it. Do keep us informed. I am going to email my buddy and ask him to send me the address of the house I visited with him and I will let you know as soon as he gets back to me

Thank you very much for the info. So, you know the owner(s). I am staying at both hotels as the invited guest of the owner (Mr. M.I.?) and your comments are very encouraging.

Can you give me some idea (ball park range) of the prices I should expect to pay (in taka or dollars, either one.) I leave for Dhaka on April 4 (6 days from now) so please send me any info. Hopefully, I'll score and have a good report for this thread when I return (or sooner.)

Well in Bangladesh when we all use the word hooker it is of a very poor quality.High priced call girls are certainly availaible in the Gulshan area as well as Baridhara.My ethnicity is Bangladeshi and I often go there for breaks.Having said that I have been to private homes just to visit and not monger as I do not want to take a chance seen in a place like this in Dhaka,because of my family reputation and prominence in the city.There were not only local girls but also Russians which were availaible in Banani.It was right across a building called the ABC building on Kemal Atarturk avenue. For your information LJohnson as for the White House hotels and for the Sea Gull hotel I know the owners personally,I am not sure about White House Hotel but they can certainly arrange for girls to come over to you.As for Sea Gull I know for sure there are girls cause I have been there while on vacation in Cox's Bazar.These girls are pretty much all Burmese (Asian Looking) and they are in various rooms through out the hotel . Just ask one of the waiters or room service attendant and slip him a 20 Taka bill. My advice to you is just ask the hotel receptionist and make friends with him 99% of the time they do have contacts of pretty girls from middle class background. When I went to the house in Banani there were girls from all aspects of society including a girl I recognized went to my very elite school in Bangladesh. I am going to try to get the address of the house and mail it to you but I am not making promises

I will be in both Dhaka and Cox's Bazar between April 6 and April 15. I'll be at the White House Hotel while in Dhaka and the Seagull Hotel while in Cox's Bazar. If anyone has any advice as to how to find girls in either of these places, it will be appreciated.

I've only been to Dhaka once. To my mind, I'd never monger there again. I'm sure that over 90% of the women there are forced into prostitution and that's a big no-no for me. Sure hope the government there gets off it's arse and helps the poor girls.

I'm familiar with the ones in the Baridhara/Gulshan area of town. You can rent them for the hour or so and they're pretty cheap in comparison to the west. Only a few dollars at the most.

I'm not sure about the models. I've heard of middleclass housewives for around US$100 but don't have any experience with them. I usually go for the higher end garmet workers/maids who ask for anything between US$5-15. Anything less, you should be very careful.

The thing I've noticed in Bangladesh is that they don't really do much other than missionary. I think only 2 girls ever gave me a BJ without me having to ask.

But I had the advantage of living in Dhaka for a few years, and had a pretty nice maid who I'd give "bonuses" to at the end of the month. If I were in town I'd help you out, but I'm slugging it out in college in the states now.

Most of them will have some action. Just ask the male staff, especially the younger ones, and they'll arrange everything for you.

Just ask the bell boys. They can get the girls for you also. I have seen girls in Sonargaon at the balcony bar which I believe is undergoing renovation but not in the Sheraton when I last went there. The hotel boys are just the people to ask as they will provide you all the info with money offcourse. If girls are not available at the hotel there are many private guest houses in the Banani, gulshan, uttara area. Many longer staying expats prefer these guest houses because they are cheaper.

Just walk down to sonargaon from la-vinci it is nearby and try for the girls around 9pm at the balcony bar which has shifted to the poolside.

You may think this is a joke but this is a situation common where ever there is abject poverty. In the Mongla sea port on the opposite side river bank there is whole village of prostitutes for servicing sailors and local tourists. One sailor told me in 1993 that the running price was a packet of Benson and Hedges cigarette.

Sanitary conditions are very bad and the risk of contracting STDs very high.
