Well, I think most of those will work with public transport, but you would propably have to use Cologne or Frankfurt as home base. Not speaking German should be less of a problem than at FunPark or in Krefeld; if you could manage there, you could manage at most of those events I posted as well.

A one woman party for 3 hours wouldn't entice me either if I had to spend 5 hours in the car for it. The 4 hours with Gerti in Cologne on the 13th for 40 € and 3 and a half hours in the car, propably shared with a friend for half the way, are another matter.
