I will be stay at the Veneto for four days, arriving this Thursday. Trust me I won't be paying for anyone to join me in my room. When someone comes up to my room it is no ones business regarding our relationship. They don't charge for my brother, business associate, my mother, or my girlfriend. Trust me, don't let taxis or hotels push you around. What are they going to do call the police because you refuse to pay $10 on top of the regular cab rate because they took you to strip club? WTF, they can't charge you $75 because you you took a Colombian up to your room to discuss politics. Grow some balls.

As far as I know, foreigners need to carry an ID or passport all over the world. What do you think happen, if a foreigner is stopped in the USA or any other country and he is not carrying a valid passport with all the right stamps. It's always some kind of problem.

You must have a vendetta against PTY, because that is an ignorant statement.

Nothing like Habanos. A lot of people think Bocas is beautiful and a nice quiet vacation spot. I went once for 4 days. It was okay. The water taxis are cool and a couple of the Hotels that are on the islands are really unique. However, I found it kind of a grungy town and other than a couple of bars there is not much night life. Probably if you talked to a few of the cab drivers they may be able to hook you up with a local girl, who will probably be dark skinned but as far as pay for play there is not much. I would not return unless I brought a girl / girlfriend with me.

Also, if you want a nice place to go that is only about 45 minutes from Panama city spend a couple days at Gamboa resort in the middle of the rainforest. Its easy to get to. You can go on the canal and Gatun lake during the day and it is a very pretty resort with an unreal pool area.

A couple times I stayed at Gamboa and at night cabbed it into the city for some fun and brought a girl back for the night from Habanos.

    Bad weekend coming

Just a heads up. This weekend (Thursday thru Saturday) is going to be the America's Summit in the Atlapa convention center. The city will be messed up due to a huge (and IMHO absurd) security perimeter that covers from atlapa all the way to calle uruguay. Many streets are going to be closed either partially or completely depending on the day. I'm attaching the maps for the closed areas, I couldn't find an english version but you should get an idea. Plan accordingly, if you are staying in an hotel in san francisco, call right away to inquire about getting in and out of the area, as san francisco is the inner perimeter.

The chupacabras is also roaming the country sides.

So you are scared to fuck working girls. Fine. Why are you here?

I still had to pay $3 to the cab driver for the 1 block we traveled before the road block. My Colombian friend had all her papers in order. After standing on the curb for about 10 minutes, they let us go so I paid another cab $3 for the 6 blocks down the hill to the hotel. The cop said all foreigners are required to carry their passport, or at least a photocopy of ID page and the entry stamp.

Yeah, but since everybody knows 30% of all Panamanian prostitutes are infected by AIDS that means the chance of getting infected is 4 x 30% or 120%. You'll be dead before you even leave the room.

    Re: HIV Transmission

Here is the CDC page on HIV transmission rates. Notice penis to vaginal insertive is 4 in 10,000 chance, and that's not taking account the 80% reduction by condom use:

And this is based on statistics you recently created, or what?
