Simple question. Where do you go for an hour of privacy?

Of everything you've written this comment is what will hamstring you most: "I cannot plan when I will have the free time. " Does this mean you expect to suddenly find 120 minutes, call a girl, and expect her to show up quickly? Anything is possible, but this is unlikely. You might get lucky and find a girl who lives nearby. It seems you're restricted to work hours since you have to spend your free time with family, and if your work hours are from 8 am - 6 pm there's traffic to deal with. Checking in and out of hotels will take time. Sounds all very rushed and unpleasant to me.

If you're able to gain better control of your play time and find some girls who can meet you in short notice rent a studio flat near (walking-distance) your office. Have the girls meet you there.

As a Makati resident I would say that you can get fast action upstairs at many of the Burgos St bars in the karaoke rooms, but it will cost you an arm and a leg! I don't recommend it though, nor that you mention that place if you work for an upscale company there. Your best bet will be play a long game with your many female workmates. There will be plenty of takers believe me, whether you are married or not, and you can come to an arrangement for time and place. If you live in a condo the same will be true there, especially the paid helpers for the rich families. Temptation is everywhere my friend, in shops, supermarket checkouts, leaflet bill handers-outers, even policewomen. There used to be quick action in the 'prayer room' at GoGo Bananas in Kalayaan Ave, but that was years ago. I think it's the Aussie Sports Bar now. Others may have more to add about that one. No way can you get to Malate and back in two hours LOL.

    Good luck!

We hereby appoint u to be our paranoid friend. Freebiefan have a sane mind and a practical approach to this matter you can read up on. So have I. Like FF I have stayed numerous times in high changed hotels globaly. I have friends beeing managers and in a general view guest privacy is of major concern to these hotels. One case of a hotel CCTVing its guests would make them go out of biz or atleast they will find themself in a major trouble. Ofcourse if warranted by a court decission the hotel is not in charge of the surveilance and officials would be the one viewing it (whoever that might be).

Just to make sure I snapped a few photos of some cam devices in my room incl a two way mirror. So far as I fuck multiple times a day in here I guess the viewers must have enjoyed (this is all in good humor Cool Traveler and no mocking). I will ask for a dvd copy when i leave..

Possibly an old style heat detector that uses a meltable fuse or bi-metal strips.

But not a very helpful description of the device! How big, how long, what colours, transparent plastic, etc, etc? And I still don't understand how it can be "right above the smoke detector". If it was above the detector, then the detector would block the 'lens', and anyway, you wouldn't be able to see the device, unless the smoke detector was hanging down from the ceiling??!!??!!

I also agree with FF's comments. So the odds of it being a 'spy' cam are about a million to one!

Anyways, if they have access to my Skype, or if they were in the room with us. So, I checked. All the suites, at Intercontinental have video camera's in them. I cornered one of the security guys, who did not deny it. I went to my room, and looked all over. And found the camera. Right above the smoke detector. If any of you stay in this hotel, check it out for me. Maybe I am imagining things. Two subsequent rooms had cameras in them too, and ow I carry a tape thingy and cover it up.

The security guy told me most of the high end hotels "probably" have them for "security". So, be aware, and be forewarned. Do a cursory check when you check into a high end hotel room.
I don't know you, or your level of paranoia but having been a vendor to 5 star hotels such as Marriott Hilton Hyatt Shangri La Fairmont and being intimately aware of most of these companies brand standards AND having a very good knowledge of how security works in Manila hotels I'm sorry to say but there aint no cameras in any hotel room.

Firstly its illegal to record information from private hotel rooms unless its been issued by a warrant. This is Philippines law. Secondly given that theres a reasonable level of European and US guests in these hotels, with all their laws about taking of personal information and data without permission, there would be an outcry.

Third how would a girl know how to view tapes that are digitally recorded for up to 90 days (Philippines law for digital saving and 7 years for paper records) unless she had access to a hotels CCTV data entry point.

Fourth, hotels employ a mix of permanent security staff, plus the majority, the door guys, the bag searchers, the perimeter people are all outsourced. And within hotels there is a clear delineation of who sees what and the security guard with whom you come into contact are generally not the hotel staff.

I would be happy to detail more but this is a sex site. I can only say that if you suspect such an issue, go to the General Manager and have him show you what it is that you have seen. I believe the current GM there is Christian P.

Security guard will and do not have correct information as they generally work for an outsourced company and are rotated according to the contracts that the outsourced company has. They are not a good source of correct information.

    Probably paranoia

She had details, and I did ask her, and she responded that she had a friend at the hotel. But there is no way, anyone could know about the virgin pinay. Unless they were in the room.

And to the question, why I went back there. My office had already booked the rooms. When you travel like I do, a lot of times, you can't cancel the room at the last minute. I stopped there on the way to China, then to HK, and was back in Makati, 4 days later. On the return trip, the new suite I was given, had the same exact thing. Two different rooms. Do I want to take it seriously, and take it to management. Hell, no! I do not want the publicity.

I want someone else, other than me to check it. I love the Intercontinental's. Staying at the Paris Intercon Marceau end of this month.

Most of the five star hotels in Makati are members of luxury hotel groups that routinely verify the extent to which individual hotels in the group are maintaining predetermined standards. It seems logical to assume that prior to the installation of hidden cameras that would violate the privacy statutes of the countries in which these hotels are incorporated, such installations would have to be sanctioned by the InterCon Group, the Fairmont Group, and so on. I doubt that such approvals would be forthcoming very quickly.
