Nonetheless, there can exist some perfectly legitimate reasons why some people, in certain circumstances, would not necessarily want their credit card to be linked to a hotel reservation. Especially in Thailand. But I'm sure people worldwide have the same kinds of concerns.
So is there any way to combine the privacy of the "walk-up" with the rate of the Internet?

A few years ago, I was in New York and booked a deep discounted rate through Expedia. At the end of my stay, I needed to stay two days longer so I called the front desk and the hotel would not honor the discounted Expedia rate. Instead, the hotel quoted me their rack rate which was three times higher than the Expedia rate. I called Expedia and booked for two more nights at the discounted rate. Problem solved!

Posts: 357Hotel scam: Internet vs. Walk-in
The five-star hotel Grande Centre Point Terminal 21, which is very girl-friendly and conveniently close to Soi Cowboy, offers a room for THB 3200 if you book on the Internet with a credit card, but asks for double if you walk up to the front desk with cash in your hand. Does anybody know a way to get around this rip-off?

Hi everyone,
I have been booked in you Sathorn Bangkok. No chance of changing the hotel. Could someone please tell if this is girl friendly? If not then I have no choice but to visit the ST hotels or oilies.

Posts: 414Almost all hotels on Sukhumvit between soi-2 to 23 are guest friendly. Select any hotel based on your budget. Search on any good website such as agoda, cleartrip or booking.com for details and reviews on hotels.

Posts: 414Try Phachara Suites on soi 6. Its within walking distance from NEP (3-4 minutes). They have 1 & 2 bedroom suites at reasonable rates.

Posts: 972 room suite with decent living room?
Hey guys, need a little help. Ill be making a quick visit to BKK with a friend of mine, I was hoping to find a decent 2 bedroom service apartment or 2 bedroom hotel suite. Does anyone have any good suggestions for something next to Nana or cowboy? Alternatively thinking of booking 2 regular hotel rooms with interconnecting room. We like to party a bit with the girls before going to our own rooms to do the dirty.
Any thoughts?
Thanks for the help!
Kkreeac,
Stay safe and play safe.

Did not give me a room that I already booked directly to the hotel. I had a front room on 6th floor and it was noisy all night.

Hi guys, I finally decided on 2 nights at the Majestic suites. Does anybody have any tips on where the best rooms are within the hotel in terms of special requests when making the booking. There is also a choice of ground floor and upper ground. If any of you guys have stayed here please share some tips on where the best rooms are within the hotel. Thanks.

Here is what I do when I arrive early at one of the Soi 11 hotels. Deposit my luggage and walk over to the Sukhumvit Starbucks for breakfast. The upper floor glass windows are good for people watching. Towards mid day proceed either to Annies for a massage (rub and tug) and return to the hotel in time for check in and a good nap. Or back in the day when Soi 7 Beergarden was still a good option I would pick up a FL after few drinks and lunch and return to the hotel for afternoon delights. Followed by a nap, of course.
Grand President and President Solitaire have allowed me a 9 AM check-in more than once. If the room was not ready It would be a 30 min to 1 hour wait in which case I would deposit my bags and do the above.
