I couldn't get them to respond on line either. During the last week in December 2014, I simply walked in with cash in my hand and got a room. I did it one other time too during 2015. Maybe not the preferred way, but it worked both times for me.

    Gifts for the girls

Has anyone ever brought little gifts for the girls and if so what do they seem to really like?

High Season in Costa Rica is from December to the end of April as this is when the weather is the best. Rainfall is virtually nonexistent and it is their summer. As others have mentioned in the San Jose, CR threads avoid Christmas and New Year week, and Easter week as the majority of girls will spend time with their families.

    Jaco in Late October

I just got back from my second trip to Jaco, last time I was there it was May of 2014. I have to say I liked it better the second time. Things are alive and kicking in Jaco with the action centering at the Cocal Hotel and Casino. We got in early Wednesday morning into Juan Santamaria International Airport in Alajuela, Costa Rica. We had a shuttle driver waiting for us whom we hired and it cost us $100 which we split 4 ways to drive from the airport to Jaco. The ride is a short hour and forty five minutes, and is very pleasant. The weather was phenomenal at this time of the year and although it is in the Green Season which is the rainy season, we found it would rain only about 30 minutes to 1 hour max in the afternoon, then it would clear up at night. I strongly recommend mainly bringing cool clothing such as shorts, nice t shirts, or short sleeve polos. One can also wear jeans with a short sleeve short. It is very casual dress though in Jaco.

We rented our condo through Day Star Rentals and they set up with a gorgeous Modern condo at a building called Diamante Del Sol. 2 of us stayed there and 2 of my friends stayed at the Copacabana Hotel which they said was mediocre. The Cocal has limited rooms so it can be sold out if you wait. Crocs has nice rooms but is at the very end of the main strip so it can be quite inconvenient. I really believe the best value is to rent a condo if you are with at least 1 other guy (get a 2 bedroom) or 2 guys (get 3 bedroom). Condos can be found on many websites such as VRBO, Homeaway, Flipkey, AirBNB, daystarentals.com, jacomonaco.com. There are also condos right in back of the Cocal hotel called Vista Mar condos that can be arranged by calling the Cocal Hotel through their toll free number, just google it.

Activities and Sightseeing- During the day, there are many activities and tours in Jaco. You only need to walk on the main strip which is Avenida Pastor Diaz and you will run into many places that offer tours. You can also go online. There are ATV tours, zip line tours, fishing excursions if you want, and many other types of tours. We did an ATV tour that was $75 for 3 hours and took you up to the mountains, and then back. You get to stop at a waterfall, and jump in which was cool. Highly recommend this and the zip line tour which I did last trip. The beach in Jaco is somewhat disappointing as there is mainly gravel and rocks instead of pure sand. Also, the water is rough so its not really a beach going destination other than for surfing.

The strip (Avenida Pastor Diaz) has many restaurants, shops, pharmacies, souvenir shops, and just about anything you need can be found here.

Currency and Banks- we found all businesses including the girls (ha) will take dollars or Colones but you usually lose about 5 percent by paying in dollars unless you exchange your dollars for Colones at the Bank of Costa Rica in Jaco. There are a few places to exchange money but the rates are nowhere as good as the banks. The current rate was about 528 colones for 1 us dollar.

Restaurants- for lunch try Taco Bar, for breakfast The Green Room, or Poseidon Hotel were good. For dinner the Cocal has great food as well as Lemon Zest and Graffiti but they are more sit down style and slightly more expensive. For Sushi, Tsunami Sushi was good with large portions and reasonable prices as sushi is never cheap.

Venues- In my opinion, the only real good place in Jaco and the heart of the action is at the Cocal Hotel. As other reports have said, the quality of women here is off the charts. There are plenty of beautiful girls to be found, and some average ones. The majority of the girls are from Costa Rica (at least 50 to 60 percent, the rest of the girls a mix from Nicaragua, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. There are girls of all shapes and sizes but most are professional girls that really try hard to look good. The most amount of girls there will ever be at one time there at peak is about 80 to 100 as the bar area and casino are not big. The cost of girls was never less than $100 paid by all of us which is generally for short time or about 1 to 2 hours or 1 pop. Some girls will try to quote you $150 but just tell them that your friends all paid $100 and they will drop their price quickly. Also, you can just negotiate and tell them the most you will pay is $100 and they will go, if not just walk as there are a few greedy ones. All night long here is not recommended unless you are willing to fork out at least $300 to $400 as the girls know they can get at least 2 clients per night and are used to leaving early. So, unlike Thailand, Philippines, or even Sosua, don't expect TLN or All Night Long. The women are very nice though and will treat you like a king for the time you are with them and niceness goes a long way with them. CBJ and covered sex are the norm but you can find some that may do uncovered BJ.d But again, the quality of the girls is bar none the best I have seen anywhere in Latin America so this offsets the more business like, non GFE experience. We all had good performers for the most part except for a couple of mediocre experiences here and there. Crocs had no action in the casino, and it was dead on Saturday night for their Halloween party. Jaco Blu was only okay on Wednesday night but not until around after midnight LE Loft can be decent after things clear out at Cocal, but I do not recommend waiting to pull from there. Try to get a girl from Cocal or you could go home empty handed. The action at Cocal starts getting good around 9 pm and finishes around 1 am, but there are always a few girls in the early afternoon looking for a an afternoon quickie. The Monkey Bar closed we were told recently as there was a shooting outside the club and they were having other issues. The Beatle Bar had no action and is more of a drinking bar for a few locals and expat guys.

We went to San Jose on Sunday night, and it was terrible. The girls were older, less attractive, and San Jose is a dump in my opinion. Will definitely hit Jaco again in the future.

You must be kidding if you think I can ID girls by their snatch! She was with her cousin. Younger and slightly prettier, but she didn't speak English and Carina was friendlier.

If you search on Crocs, you'll see that it's identified as girl-friendly, especially by One Lucky Dogg, the very credible source of info here. I took her in through the (uncrowded) casino, to the elevators, without seeing any security (only at the front of the casino, and they didn't even glance at us coming out of the taxi.

But the room at Crocs was horrible. I had a junior suite, and they have a problem with no dehumidifier in the air conditioning. There was condensation everywhere. Literally a quarter inch on the floor, and seeping down the walls. Had to call housekeeping to mop the floors several times. Anything in the room got damp. If they don't fix it, that new hotel will be full of mildew in a few months.

Lots of 8's and 9's of my type (which is young, slim and natural), but my experience is that those girls have poorer service and price. I connected with a Nica, Carina, who was a 7 and slightly older, she said 25 but who knows. She was friendly, natural and slim, which hit all my criteria, so I pulled her from Cocal to Crocs where I was staying.

She was lots of fun. We negotiated kissing, BBBJ (but "don't telll anyone") and at least 2 pops (although I am only usually good for one, these days). She started at $100 but went VERY quickly down to $80, which I gather is the going rate.

In the room, she was great. Not quite DFK, but certainly good LFK, and the BBBJ was terrific. She did everything I asked, including multiple positions, and finally finished with a really good sensual HJ (since I don't like condoms)..

Good English, lots of fun, outgoing, and good body (A / be natural tits, good ass, slim), with good service, so I really enjoyed my 18 hours in Jaco.

Next time I will avail myself of services from One Lucky Dogg, and go after the 8's and 9's at Cocal.

Had a great time despite only speaking English. Cocal is definitely like a candy store for guys. Just wished I had more time to sample the (many) great-looking girls.

Your schedule is spot on. Jaco Friday and Saturday nights. San Jose the rest of the trip. I responded to your pm Thanks.

I'll be in Jaco labor day. Second consecutive year. What a fun town.

Oh of course there were a few gems and you had to wait.

The whole thing about the Cocal is that now most the the day there are girls there. You have your choice whenever you want. The choice gets greater as the day goes on. Several of them are as attractive as any I have seen anywhere else. The service is usually as good as anywhere else. Plus most of the guys are gringos like me who I can relate to. This type of place is a necessity for any trip I take. There is no place like it in MDE. I never want to take a trip abroad and have to call a girl I have never seen before. I can do that in the US. The greatest enjoyment of these trips is seeing the girls on site. That enjoyment is worth the cost.
All Good points Bimmy. I have lived here for 10 years now and have been doing this tourism thing for 3 now. I have seen a big shift in the last 3 years to the coast of Costa Rica / Jaco Beach. Now about 60% of my guys are going there. No doubt the women are the hottest at the Cocal and Jaco, however the weather is much better in San Jose. Costa Rica has something for everyone It's like a big futurity down here.
