When did Casa Blanca start charging a room fee?

I stand corrected there is no room charge at Casa Blanca but they do have an early rate and a late rate I believe its before 8 pm. You pay $10 less.

Last fall the room fee was $3 at both Carolinas and Hypnotic but if I remember correctly it increased to $5 at both places on my return visit this spring.

Never did make it into a room at El Capitan but I hope that any $10 fee stays there and doesn't get to the other casas.

Looking forward to my next visit in October so to any of you going in the next couple of months look forward to any intel you can offer.

Just returned, it is very slow, spent most of my time at El Capitan because I found what I like there. The current rate is $50 for the girls $10 to the house. She mentioned overnight, which runs from 8 PM to noon, I think she said $400-450 not sure was not interested.

Most of the clubs just have locals hanging out and only spending minimum. I am guessing the better ones are there during high season. I stayed very close to Casa Blanca, which would be my last stop for the night. My hotel was on the border of the Dutch and French side, $280 for four nights, $171 for rental, and flight was $325 total with US Airways.

Did you check out Carolina's or Hypnotic? How many girls were working at each club?

My next visit to SXM will be in a few days and I would like to know if you have any good recommendations specially in Carolinas. (P.S: I absolutely loved women with long and very long nails. Back in the day, you could go to a chica's room for free from when the club opened until 4 pm In some clubs. Room key fees didn't kick in until the evening shift. Then some clubs had 3 dollars for the room key, then it crept up to 5 to 6 bucks. Now 10? Not sure if that's applicable across the board with all clubs, or just with El Capitan. Guess you need to ask ahead of time, either chica or bartender, to make sure even one is on the same page. When you leave the bar at Hypnotic and enter into the foyer, there's a guy at a desk and a couple of visits ago the room key fee had changed and I wasn't sure if it was the club rule, or his rule. Most of the other clubs you just pay the bartender, or hand the money over to the chica who in turn pays the bartender, who then records it in a book. I'm sure the island is slow right now. I miss the days of going to Casa Blanca and seeing about 20 chicas hanging around the bar in the afternoon manhandling me as soon as I entered. My past couple of trips the place was a ghost town in the afternoon. In terms of afternoon takeout, I'll just have to figure out the scene myself in September. Hope you enjoyed your trip.

If you want modern, heavy shower, flat screen, etc. , this is not the place. Searching right now the rate is $96 a night for Sept 4 to 8th. I guess they know our holidays.

I booked my hotel well in advanced and it was low season. I used Expedia; there is also www.SkyScanner.com, which will alert you when prices for flight and or Hotel increase or decrease.

I've stayed there many times. Thats a good price, even for this time of the year. Rooms are big and clean. Chica friendly if needed. Close the the clubs. Not far from orient beach. Decentbride to the airport.

Forgot to mention that another upside of this property and the hamlet in general, is the fact that the Gendarme (French Police) that are assigned to the Orleans police station, stay at the Columbus Hotel, which is the property right before the gate / entrance to Captain Oliver's. There's a police truck (type you won't see in the states) and you'll see the cops coming and going in uniform to cover their shifts, mostly younger guys that look like ex-military, that are packing some firepower. Nice to see them milling around in front of the Columbus Hotel when I take my morning walk! Although Captain Oliver's does have a security guard on the premises (although I've walked on the property at sunrise and had a hard time finding him, not that I was looking for him), it's nice to know there is an unofficial police presence in Oyster Pond.

That wasn't a bad rate for Captain Oliver's. I stay at a place right up the road from there, a mere 2 minute walk to the hotel. Although the property is a bit dated, and I've never been in a room, the place does have some conveniences for staying in Oyster Pond. While the hotel is on the French side, the Dingy Bar and the other waterfront stores are on the Dutch side. It's a weird boundary crossing the water somehow. But Captain Oliver's does have dining, a pool, a rocky beach with a swim ladder if you're inclined to swim in the pond / harbor, an onsite liquor store, ships store etc. Their website is pretty detailed with the hotel amenities. A couple of good restaurants are up the hill as well, and you've got the marina and the ferry to St. Bart's right at your doorstep. And yes, it's a stone's throw to Casa Blanca, which stays open until 5 am On weekends. And Sunset Retreat is just around the bend from Casa Blanca heading back toward Philipsburg. If you're into sailing, you can always run into some friendly folks at the Dingy Bar either arriving, or about to depart for some interesting destinations. The marina is much more laid back and in my opinion, quieter than the Simpson Bay area, which sees a considerable amount of boat traffic with the opening and closing of the drawbridges.

Getting the itch to make another trip to SXM, possibly in September. Although it's a roll of the dice regarding hurricanes, I've found airfares to be at year lows, and the island is quiet, but the clubs are still in full swing. I've had luck in the past doing take-out during the chica's free time. From 4 pm to 8 pm Pricing varied based on a number of factors, chemistry with the girl, how much of a rapport you've built up, how anxious is she to get out of the club, how long has she been on island, and if she is single in the sense of not having a local boyfriend. I found this to be a reasonable alternative to TLN and TLD, since the 3 to 4 hours is just the right amount of time for some fun back at my place, pool time, drinks, and a light nap and maybe a quick informal bite to eat before getting her back to the club. Now the evening is still yours and you can club hop to where she's not working. I've done this with chicas from Defiance, Crystals, Hypnotic and could have with chicas from Carolines and El Cap, but the money they wanted was on par for a TLN and that wasn't going to happen. I've taken some chicas from Carolines into town at 4 pm as a courtesy driver and that was kind of cool having 3 hotties piled into my car.

My question for the recent visitors, since I haven't been on island in 6 months? Is. Has anyone had any recent experiences with take-out during siesta time and if so, are the clubs now charging a multa? In the past the girl could freely leave, but from what I've been reading, unless you're running an errand for her (post office trip, P'burg shuttle, or other necessity) you may get hit with $70 or even $100 bar fine, in addition to whatever you agree upon with the chica. If that is the case, then TLN may be the way to go, if you make a real connection.
