I have seen this type of attitude many times. They rip you if they get a chance without concern about how nice you treated them. They live for the moment.

One time we jumped in a taxi at a Resteraunt. He took us to casa. It was a $5 Cab Ride per the driver. There were four of us. We told him, go inside with us and you will receive $4 per person you bring in from the Management of the Casa. He didn't believe us. We convinced him to go in to help him out. He went in received the $16.00 which took a while for management to get his money make him fill out this little form etc. He then came over to where we were sitting and said the fare was now $10.00. We said what? We Helped you get $16 which you never would have received if we didn't tell you about it. I then said, just thank us tell us the fare is free and enjoy the found money. He said no its now $10 because I have been here 30 more minutes waiting to get the $16 from management. I couldn't believe his logic. As much as I try to figure the taxi's out and there thinking the more I am amazed. Just can't win.

What I will say is that taxistas are just like chicas sometimes you don't really know what they are capable of until your second or third try with them. Some are drivers some have connections and some actually personally know pros & semi pros. If you are going to frequent Santo Domingo often I would encourage anyone to build a relationship with a taxista because he can be your driver, translator, mediator and security all for about 500 pesos an hour.

I know what your are saying about being a newb. That why I said that the best fixer is the fixer that you are already paying aka your taxi, or hotel reception (night person)/ securty guard. If you stay in gazcue they all have a hustle.

I just don't like having a 3rd party, I am already paying the taxi, and the girl. In SDQ the casa are ready vetted the girls, fixers say that they vetted the girl but 75% of the time is BS, a fixxer will go to the malecon for a 1 k streetwalker and change you 4 k plus his fee.

If you a newb with zero spanish, and zero knowledge of mongers then you better off not going to santo domingo or stick to the casas.

That's not a good absolute statement to make for Newbies or Vets. Fixers helped out when I could not say Hello, to cat and even now they help out when I need a pick up man or flat out distraction. The key is establishing a relationship with a paid hand that will allow you to navigate the city. Only way I see it may be a hindrance is if you do not understand or have learned how to Negotiate in Dominican or the fixer does not have his own transportation.

For a NewB in santo domingo, I always recommend is study the monger map. 90% of the places will be there. Chat with you taxi and if you get a good vibe ask him to find you chics. Also make friends with the reception or security at your hotel they can hook you up too.

I took a look via google and calle des pizzas looks nicer LOL.

Called conde runs from west to east. On the west end there a "local transit hub" so many dominicans going in and out. The street is lined with restaurants / cafes, gift shops, etc. The further you go east you see more hotels, and restaurants aimed at tourists.

Interms of women, there a lots normal dominican women walking around either going to school, work, or just shopping. You have to have a good eye to spot the working girls, the working girl houses are 5 mins walk so working girl often frequent it on their time off. Having a good eye can lead to great discounts. During the evening hours you can see streetwalkers in the parks.

Do a google images search for calle conde and you can get a idea of calle conde.

For anyone who has been in the Miraflores district of Lima, Peru, is this a good analogy? Seems like the conde is like Calle des Pizzas?

The Pastor that I am referring to is a Haitian guy also called "El Santo", he set up meetings between mongers and ladies.

By giving tel numbers and he speaks many languages this is all I know, I was wondering if anyone used his services. He is.

I never liked Pacos. The only SW's I have seen strolling there are 4/10 and 5/10. Not ugly facially but not cute, and wack bodies. I think it is overrated interms of a place to post up and see girls walking by because of the of the noise and heat from the traffic. I prefer posting up somewhere of the middle, that way you can see one chic go to the end of the conde and coming back, giving you 2 shots at her.

Pacos is a good place to people watch and chill. No one will bother you and working girls stroll through all day. Most of the girls are average looking but they will fuck you for 1000 pesos. 1500 will get a happy street walker. Just be careful on conde, It is a tourist area that attracts con men looking for dupes. Guys will offer everything from shaves to women. Just say say no. You can find you own woman. When you are on El Conde pay attention. Girls walking by themselves are often looking for customers. I met a 9 who was also excellent in the bed.

If your at pacos or anywhere on the conde, don't expect to find anything over a 7 there. Yull find an 8 in a blue moon. Ecpect to see a lot of 4's-6's. It is a good place to people watch, the menu sucks but none the less, a good place to chill.

There are many girls who are not full time hookers. I prefer the quote semi pros. Girls who sleep with a guy who pays a few bills. I do not want a girl who has sucked 3 dick the same day as hooking up with me. Reason I avoid casas. If you like GFE a small propina up front is a great investment.
