Sun and nice weather other Asian countries have too. I don't know what's benefits Sri-Lanka. On my facebook page it use to come "a country like no other" and that's very true. If you are a foreigner you really have to be aware of prices.

So I will post my reviews of the MP's I visited in the proper thread but figured I'd shed some thoughts into the night life. Over the past 6 weeks I've tried to research every website and thread on here possible to hit up all the places that members recommend. From clubs (Rhythms and Blue, Margarita Blue, Texas Karoke, Lush Karoke, and a few others) to even casinos (Bellagio). I've seen threads and websites talking about freelancers and while I do believe their is a small population of them (maybe a couple max) at each establishment overall, in general I am going to say the FL game or trying to find FS at these places is really difficult. This past weekend I visited them all between the hours of 9 pm to 4 am using every advantage and background knowledge I've ever been taught about the hobby over the past several years. Generally, FL's make themselves easily noticeable and you just need to make some eye contact and use a smile to pull them in for a convo; however, in Colombo that is not the case. This is with the exception of two girls I saw at MB, which I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole considering if they were on top I would have been crushed. Seriously. Crushed.

Furthermore, for those of you used to the traditional bar scene the clubs here or karaoke bars are very different. In fact at one club (Lush), I was told if I bought a girl a drink she would then dance on stage. You weren't permitted to talk to her or have a chat, no touching, no direct physical contact, and that staff would be watching. This shocked the hell out of me considering I had every single girl sitting there (6 total) whose yes were constantly eyes on me and trying to gain my attention out of 10 guys in the room. So I checked to clarify with another staff member who told me the same exact rules. Buy a girl a drink and she will go on stage and dance. Most messed up thing I've ever heard, which I replied "Why waste money if you can't even say Hi to the girl" and of course they had no response. Some of the other karaoke bars were a bit less strict where the girls were more like greeters from other Asian countries where they would sit and talk with you and you could buy them a drink; however, that is where it ended. Obviously there is no bar fine in this country and most of the girls had one too many donuts or a dozen too many donuts if you know what I mean unless your into that thing..

I think the biggest disappointment of all was that the casino. I knew ahead of time by trusted members, wechat location / convos, and internet research that there is a large population of Chinese girls and even a few eastern European girls would be there and are considered FL. I went there and kept myself very noticeable and I've honestly never once had an issue attracting young, Asian girls. However, they stayed in groups and mostly gambled (amazingly a lot) at the tables and never really ventured out to talk to any foreigner. In two nights and about 4 hours total I got nowhere with them. I have no idea if your supposed to get your in through the staff or what but whatever code it is at this place I struck out.

So the bottom line if your a foreigner and you look like a foreigner, be prepared for striking out. Yes you can arrange an FL deal but it takes a great amount of work and a bit of luck to even find a girl half attractive. Or you can go through word of mouth here at the forums through contacts that the vets have, which seems to be the best route. However, also be prepared to have many locals try to take advantage of you on literally every single turn. I actually had a girl tonight try to ask me for 5 k for a handshake after a massage and when I laughed and said No she persisted. - Or a taxi cab driver who wanted me to pay 3 k for an 8 km drive and said that is "fair price". Now I could also make the argument that this occurs in every Asian country where if you look foreign and dress foreign that your a walking ATM and most people are going to try and get their withdrawal from you. In short. Be careful. Word of mouth from vets seems to be the best advise I can come up with on this country.

Lastly. Going to bed with blue balls is a suck thing.

So lat Friday I was looking for a late night session and JH was fully booked out! A 3 wheeler guy was requested and took me to this new place on duplication road in kol you can't miss it with the tube lights. Pm for more details. Lot of girls locals and Thai. Saw your post and here's my two cents, Colombo is not the most happening place excepting massage parlors and street walkers, I am not familiar with either. There are freelance hookers and some are actually good. Contrary to popular belief outside of Colombo there is nothing.
