It's a pity Campo do not respond to inquiries about this. It surely would be interesting to have an update.

I have no personal experience but copy some dated reports by a couple of Campo vets confirming that this has been done in the past. It indicates a price of $100/ night some years ago.

You can also spend the night with a chica in her room at probably a lower price if you play your cards right (have your fun first, and then reach an agreement with a chica at say 2 am, maybe avoiding the most popular ones) and inform Security about your plans (unless you want to freak them out/NOT a good idea).

Back in 2014 I went to Campo, by that time I was new in the island, did not know about this forum and I learned the hard way, including the $40 history and all that. Now I will come back on October and there is something I would like to confirm with you if you know about it.

-During the day in my last visit I was having some lunch in the little restaurant next to the club, and I was talking to a friendly DR. I saw a guy that just arrived to the place with his suitcases, I then asked to the lady, can he do that? Do what? Can he bring his luggage and state here, she said of course, probably he'll leave tomorrow.

He just pay for the room and stay here until tomorrow that he leave. There are plenty of empty rooms and they wanted to rent them as well. I said, that's good, I paid for a room in my hotel and I am spending all day here, I will do that next time.

Have any of you don't this before? Do you know how much is to spend the night there? Of course I need to take my connection next day and I wanted to have some fun then go to sleep like a child so I can wake up early and go to the airport, Also I will be leaving the car I rent in the parking lot if that is not a problem.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

For a trip that focuses on p4 p, also the surrounding cost must be calculated.

-Taxi to and back from Campo (25 usd+25 usd?) or rented car (60 usd / day?) - Never read about someone walking or being able to take public transport there.

-Hotel prices (High).

-Price for food. (Need to eat something).

Add all these costs together and then split the total on how many girls you actually do have sex with. Then Add the cost for each girl and their tip on top of that, and you know the true cost per girl. (And that is from a p4 p travel perspective).

Why this post?

Because another island like SXM, might have a lower total cost per girl, even if the SXM prices from the girls them self are higher.

Or, If you go to Sousa, you have cheap food, cheap (er) lodging, about the same cost for women, but no cost for taxi to get to / from the premise.

Every man has to calculate how he is willing to spend his own economical resources the best way, and what is giving the best lifestyle and best lasting memories.

Just a friendly advice for anyone trying to escape sexprison and getting the most bang for the buck.

You can save money on hotel and food but you're right. Not on the air ticket and car rental. For example, I rent rooms in an apartment but not in a large hotel. The room has air condition, TV, shower (no hot water), toilet, kitchen and all the pots and cutlery. Price around USD75 / night. Outdoor swimming pool. -here is the link http://www.curacao.com/en/directory/stay/apartments/ Food, beer, wine from the supermarket Albert Heijn (the good stuff imported from the European Union and the USA) or the supermarket Centrum. In addition, you can eat cheaply at KFC, McDonald's or Burger King or local food. Curacao desalinated water is safe drinking straight from the tap. The day I'm on the Mambo beach and in the evening in Campo. I can not complain, great vacation better like Ashley Madison! .

All of the comments here are valid points. However don't loose the whole picture guys. More than 70% of Campo's revenue comes from the locals. While some travelers come along once in the while with their strong currencies in USD or Euro, it will be just a grain of sand to cover the expenses of running such a brothel like Campo. Bottom line that's why it still important to keep it attractive for the local folks as well.

I heard that annual earnings on Curacao are USD 20,000 / year. Obviously is a problem if the price goes up from 50 to 75 florin for local guys. - Or maybe to introduce a system of two prices? At the entrance security will determine who is local and who is a tourist. Local guys gets a different color bracelets and pays 50 florin and tourist different color bracelets and pays 75 florin?

IMHO Campo can't be closed. It is a project from the Netherlands with the cooperation of Curacao administration, local police and the local church to keep prostitution regulated, safe and in one place. The project is already 60 years old and is a great success. With the exception of the Campo. Prostitution has been almost completely eliminated from the island. New Campo price $ 42 is still OK (eg. Can anyone on the island now comment on what is going on? I am applying logic here, and if there are no customers then chicas will start going home. I have a ticket to Curacao for the.

End of September, I would rather turn it in for a refund NOW rather than fly all the way down to the island to find Campo empty.

Any up-to-date information would be greatly appreciated.

I have no problem paying the extra 25 guilders, I want to know that there will be someone to provide services for it. .

Agree, the cost of services has gone up everywhere, but the timing of the rate increase is suspicious and reminds me of the airline fares: oil price is down 60%, but airfares are maybe 5-7% off all time highs.

The USD (to which CUR Florin is fixed) is near decade-high, so products from Netherlands are cheaper, plus the chicas get 50% more Colombian pesos and almost 50% Dominican pesos for the same amount of USD and NAF.

For most of the last decade colombian chicas were making $28*2000=56 K COP. Now they make $42*3000=126 k COP. If they can keep similar number of clients his is VERY GOOD deal for the chicas.

I totally agree with you on that point. Now lets hope this will might have at least a positive turn around for Campo which will attract the girls to comeback again in big quantity and quality like they use too.

Tickets are booked and we're setup pretty sweet in a resort type neighborhood called Jansofat. Still waiting for confirmation on our car though. Looking forward to "checking in" for the first time again, heh.

Price for the 1 month pass still remains the same and the price for the ladies to rent a room per / night was raised a year ago. At the other hand there are some small incentives here and there not big things but we keep positive.

Agreed. I'm not complaining, but you can't expect me to be happy about a 50% price bump, while the girls, the place, service etc. All remain the same. I was referring to a local dude who could feel the difference in his wallet between 50 and 75 naf.

I would normally go to Campo every single day while I'm on the island. Typical session would be one hour, as I think that gets you the best treatment and enough time to properly enjoy. Two sessions a day every day during three weeks times a 50% price bump. You do the math. I guess I am complaining, hehe.

Things that, in my opinion, set Campo apart from other places:

- extremely low price.
- low entrance fee.
- very safe place.
- there's always a girl that has what you're looking for, always.
- open 24 hours a day.
- good kitchen, also open 24 hours a day.
- free stripshows.
- small village-like setup with different streets

So there's still a lot of reasons why the Campo rocks. Just think that if they up the price they should consider compensating that with something else.

Campo is up and running as usual but the amount of chicas is limited for the moment because, most of the chicas has completed their 3 month stay and therefore are leaving. There will be a fresh batch of chicas (50-75 of all taste) arriving from the DR and Colombia by the end of August and start September. No need to panic. However the new rate will stay in place.

Ok that is good. As to the new rate I am OK with it, one cannot expect prices not to change since the early 2000's (50 was the deal on my first visit back in 2003). The new rate is 42 USD. Still very good.
