Or you can purchase a multi-use card at the station (available at the windows) and avoid using a chip for each trip, which sometimes requires standing on line to purchase. Really easy.

Sure exploring for yourself is recommended if you have the time available. Many do not. Years ago I once did a tour of all soapies in certain districts. Not too far afield. There are hundreds of Oily MPs so impossible to try them all. You have to have some approach to trimming down. Most of them will not be what you are looking for.

Sure everyone's tastes are different. Why read the forum at all if you don't want any advice? I think many of us read the forum to be introduced to new things that might be worth trying. When I first joined ISG, I did not attend Oily MPS at all, basically because I don't like massage. I became aware of shops like Tulip and decided to try since they were really not about massage at all. Before that I did only Soapies and bars.

I post on all things that I try. Recently posted on Can Cam Massage which was something different. Almost every new girl tried, gets a report.

Just back from a five days stay in BKK. My tenth trip in last 12 years. Stayed at Grand Swiss on sukhumvit-11. Nice hotel and a great location.

Day-1. Checked in at 4 PM and after a quick shower was off to soi-24 to ' A Touch of Class'. This oily MP is right next to Addict. A relatively new place. If a motorcycle taxi collides with another vehicle, the motorcycle taxi passenger will almost always gets the worst of it. The motorcycle taxi driver will have more protection (good shoes, long pants, gloves, jacket, and better helmet). On the upside, it is fast and cheap transportation.

While in Bangkok last year I tried DJ BJ's Salon. Paid 700 bht for 'Consultant' (1000 for 'Nurse', don't ask me the difference). Service was okay, girls were not that attractive.

Wondering if others have had better experiences at the Salon or Nuru? Is Nuru there worth it?

I have been to Bangkok quite a few times over the years. The last time was just a couple nights in December 2013. Normally I make the rounds between Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy with pit stops at places like Thermae or whatever current new place is happening at the time.

So in general, how is the scene nowadays compared to back then? I have to say it seemed pretty good last time. Nana was noticeably much more full of ladyboys, which was a bit of a turnoff. Rainbow 4 and some others there were pretty good though. Soi Cowboy did seem to have bigger numbers of cute ones though, and I was a long-time Nana Plaza fan, so that was new for me that time. The Nana parking lot was not as good as in the past, when it used to fill up with lots of cute ones around 2 am every night, at the time when Nana Plaza and the disco over there both closed. That was always my solid Plan be for nights when I didn't find something that seemed worth taking all night, and usually the plan worked.

Haha, good point (service first, reward later), I had a preferred waitress at Bacarra, who generally is on outdoor bar duty and since she has been extra nice to me over time, I do buy her a drink and leave a substantial tip for good information on the girls when I get the chance to visit. But the incessant buzzing asking for drinks can be very irritating indeed, if a farang tells the girl to buzz off - no harm, the little pests just move onto the next punter and if an Indian asks them to buzz off - it is chalked up to being cheap and the girl will likely let you know her displeasure! I have gone to Go-Gos with farang friends as well and I have noticed that the girls tend to buzz off quicker when a farang tells them that he ain't buying them any drinks, not that quick on the withdraw when I say it! Different strokes, I guess.

I can't say if different treatment for Farangs, but can say the staff girls and LBs vary a lot. Some very annoying.

I am left alone a lot more due to being a known face, but if my regular waitress is not there, the others maybe too keen to be the replacement.
