Trip Report: First night in Kigali, arrived at 1 am on a Monday night, made friends with the hotel driver, paid him to take me to any available nightlife. He tried two locations which were closed, and then finally settled on the Peoples Disco, which is right by the Great Wall Chinese restaurant. This place was the only thing going in the whole city at this hour. Kigali is a pleasant, clean, safe, and sleepy small city. Peoples did not disappoint. Maybe 30 people inside, $2 cold beers, African hip hop, and nearly all the girls either full time or part timers. Quickly settled on a pleasant, curvy, English speaking 7. Negotiated to 25,000 rwf, about $33. No problems at hotel. Good service.

Second night I had enough time to set up dates via Badoo. I had contacted a dozen local girls leading up to the tripvia Bado. I attempted to set up dates with four (of them over one day, knowing some would flake and not show. In fact three out of four didn't get my messages in time. Lesson learned: airtime is a pricey commodity for these girls, you cannot assume they are always checking such sites hourly. The latecomers sent me frantic messages after I had already moved on. Anyway, I struck gold with number four, my top choice. We met for drinks, then dinner, then my hotel. She was a beautiful, educated, 8, and she spent the next three days as my companion as we traveled around. If you are a white man with any style, you can have your pick of lovelies in Rwanda for the cost of dinner and drinks. Badoo is a gold mine.

Said the action had moved across the road to the Chinese restaurant side.

Didn't find any clubs there but there were a couple of working girls down the (unlit) road past the Chinese place.

The planet disco, that used to be in the KBC complex, has now moved after the Chinese Restaurant your mentioned (Great Wall).

You should walk that road (not the main one) in directtion of Umubano Hotel, about 100 metres after you pass the Ninzi Hotel you will find a large.

Car park (which is right before the petrol station, but you cannot access it from there.

The name of the new disco is "People", same owners of Planet, moder setting though.

Mind you that most cab and moto drivers do not know the place, but if you walk down from the Chinese Restaurant, it is just 2 minutes walk.
