I used Expreso La Romana to go to Juan Dolio about two years ago, the cost to La Romana was 70 pesos. I understand the trip to La Romana is less than two hours.

I was just trying for a rough estimate. The Web doesn't have much information on that area.

Parque Enriquillo in Santo Domingo is the bus hub. You can get the bus from there to La Romana. I think the cost is around 200 p. Probably about a 3 hour trip.

I'm well aware of the Santiago chicks' perception of themselves being above those of the SD chicks. I was saying that, to me, indias blancas or morenas, a hot DR pussy is a hot DR pussy. As for the "challenge" you're setting yourself up for, I may have already met that. Santiago girls fuck up not down (I'm not talking about the girls you see in Sosua), their arrogance dictates that you live there and are on the next level. A weekend warrior talking sweet on the internet won't do it IMO. Indeed DCups may have game but importing Santiago to La Capital girls is a tough go. He can take a step down to increase his chances but why not just shop in SD rather than go through that?

As far as your last paragraph I'm not going to go into internal race relations in the DR except to say women in Santiago don't think "DR pussy is DR pussy" they think they are the prettiest and most desirable. SD is more metropolitan but Santiagoans think they are more middle class and suburban and more privileged. Just because its the capital and the business district doesn't mean that other places aren't viewed (by themselves) as being better. .

San Pedro is filled with gorgeous chicas, but finding the girls who are willing to fuck the random foreigner takes a little effort. And the only decent hotel in San Pedro sucks, as its on the Malecon and can be unbelievably noisy.

That being said, with a little patience, one can fuck as many beautiful women as the heary desires if you speak Spanish and understand that these girls are not hard core and easily offended by indiscrete behavior.

Nevertheless, I stopped going there a few years ago when I discovered Tagged. It's simply too easy to convince the chicas to join me in the capital. As was pointed out, the cost of transportation is very inexpensive, and many girls are happy to go by guagua (or bus) to Sto Domingo and spend a night knowing they will return with 2-4000 pesos (depending on the mongerer).

I might add that the girls generally will do just about anything inbed that you ask them to do.

If you ever decide to go back, Apartahotel Guaraguao is pretty nice. Online price is about $50, but only $40 if you book direct. Very big room with full kitchen, king bed, good a / see and a big bathroom. Only 1 girl allowed in the room at a time. It's close to Parque Duarte, just half a block past the Orange store. Very clean rooms, nighttime security.

If you've really got game, the owner is a very fit, very nice looking woman, probably mid to late 30's.

I think the right guy could definitely score big there. I only went because I had a couple of cupid chicas set up there.

You are preaching to the choir, Dear Sir! Since my first two sorties to Sosua in 2011, I have not been there to fish. Indeed I go to Sosua for food and the beach and have spent most of my time in the DR, in Santiago. Now I am not an expert on economic history, sociology or ethnology for that matter, of women in Santiago but I do not go to any casa or car wash in Santiago either, never been. I have met women there of all colors and IQ, including PUCMM students and have had my share of failure. My comment on Dcups's post was simply this: he may know women in Santiago already, that he met on his last trip, who might be willing to visit him in SD. I cannot take a big city like SD but, I have had success (and failure) inviting women from all over. You are right, if it is a first timer, the longer the distance, the more chances of a miss, but people you are already familiar with, should be a hit.

The Astrapu bus line runs from San Pedro to SD, cost is about 200 or 300 pesos and takes about 1. 5 hours. Buses are comparable to Metro. It's not a bad trip at all.

However, SP is a dump. I didn't really get out much when I was there. There's almost no current info on hotels in the area. There are several cabaas but very tough finding info on them.

I think it would be a great spot for someone with excellent Spanish and a sense of adventure. Any tourist is a rare sight there.

When I stay in SD I import girls from all over the island. I pay for the transportation and have a nice gift of their choosing when they get there. I have never had a no show. Most are very excited to be in the big city. I take them to the malls, movies and out to eat. I enjoy the fact that they are having a good time. SD is viewed by the ladies like we view NY. A great place to visit but not so much to live in. If you are an expat looking for a place to live Santiago is great. However if you are a monger looking to have a good time partying SD is my choice.

I agree. I typically "fish" for hot girls in Tagged who live in San Pedro de Marcoris. I invite them to SD. If they are willing to see me in San Pedro, they are willing to take the guagua (whatever these cars are called) to the Parque Independencia, which is on the Western side of El Conde. This is where all of the cabs and guaguas let off their customers. So there is no need for complicated instructions. I usually meet them at Paco Cafeteria (it's across the street from the Park).

I invite someone from San Pedro every time I am in Sto Domingo and I have never had a no show. Last time I was in the DR, I invited three girls in 4 days. It's a lot better than going to San Pedro, which can generously be described as a dump. On top if that, its 2 h from Sto Domingo and $60 by taxi (the guaguas are very cheap- only a few dollars, but they are very uncomfortable).
