Nagaworld casino girls are upscale and kind of snotty. I took few girls from the bar and satisfaction is 50-50. Not at all GFE. I paid $60 LT. If you are staying at the casino hotel it is good. However you will find very good GFE girls at other local bars.

I would take a nice looking girl from one of the bars into the casino. They really get the the thrill. Of course I ask them to dress up. You get free Buffett dinner at the casino. Just go to the host desk and ask for two vouchers. No question asked. Very good tasty Buffett.

Casino bar girls are primarily looking for Asian gamblers who need a quick romp and pay good.

Well there's pages and pages of guys here reporting frustration with those bars. One guy after another reports buying lots of drinks only to eventually find out the girl won't go out. Sorry, really hard to believe bar owners are not aware of this particular customer service problem. If they want to clear things up they could just stop letting girls go out for ST or FT. Then we would see how many guys are happy to spend extra dollars to just sit with a nice young lady and talk.

There are several bars that don't have bar fines or let workers leave with customers, and they have been around longer than all the other bars. Shanghai is one very good example.

Bars where every woman bar fines every time are among the least busy and least popular. See Island Bar and City Bar. Customers are few and far between.

There's really no excuse to wander blindly into a bar in this day and age especially for people who know sites like this exist. You can know what a place is like before you visit and you can find out the difference between hostess bars and brothels.

It occurred to me that a possible reason girls didn't want to go with me was where I was staying. Since I was staying for a month, I thought it would be nice to rent an apartment. But short-term apartments are hard to find in Phnom Penh. The only place I would was in the BKK1 neighborhood near Independence Monument. That's a 30 minute walk to Riverside, or a $3 tuk tuk ride. It's a fine area to live, and I have my own moto to get around, so I thought it would be OK. But some girls asked me where I was staying. When I said BKK1 or Independence Monument, they had no idea what I was talking about. Since they had no idea where I was staying, they probably decided they didn't want to go with me.

Something I wonder about is what to do about the real pretty young girls that sucker me into buying them a drink. They don't speak a word of English and there are no games, so it's impossible to build rapport with them. They just stand there aloofly. I just cut my losses and leave. I wonder if folks have any luck just directly asking them to go. I get the feeling they would demur.

Sorry, a bit off topic here but can I ask how much you paid for a months rent in a local neighborhood? I was there a few years ago and thought about coming back and staying a month or two. I'll probably stay at NaNa hotel for a bit, they gave me 18 usd for a week stay w / breakfast which is reasonable but rooms are tiny.

Lots of guys are happy to spend an extra dollar on a drink to have a nice young lady to sit with them. That's what the bars are organized around for the most part. The girls aren't looking to fuck multiple guys a day and make big money. If they were they would work in a fish bowl.

You are a better man than me if you paid only $60 for LT with your Darling Darling girls. Do you speak Khmer? I ask because I never got the girls to go under $100 for me. Then again I don't really negotiate with my girls. I either accept their price or politely bow out if I think it is too high. I prefer instead to concentrate on creating a good vibe with the girl. Maybe that's why my satisfaction rate is 100% with these girls. I don't know.

I posted a couple of trip reports about my two 2014 Darling Darling girls at the time, but I don't think I posted a detailed report about my 2015 trip. It was a lot of fun. I will check my journal entries that I keep while travelling and post updates of my Phnom Penh experiences. The two Darling Darling girls I met this year were really nice. I fondly remember lying together on the couch in my hotel room one night semi nude with one of my girls. The lights were turned low and she was singing traditional Khmer love songs softly in my ear. Then later we shagged while the love songs continued on the TV. It was a very good night.

Are there any bars in PP where everyone is barfinable?

Yeah, Darling Darling in Naga World Casino Hotel, but DD is not a hostess bar. It is an international hotel FL pickup bar like Brix at the Hyatt in Singapore or CJ's at the Mulia Hotel in Jakarta. Darling Darling is like travelling to another world compared to the Riverside hostess bars. DD fills up and gets very busy with customers and girls by 11pm every night (in March and April anyway when I usually visit PP). They have a rock and roll cover band. The music is decent. Sometimes there is not an empty seat in the house, but that does not matter. You can stand by the bar or find girls in the atrium where there is more seating. Most of the customers are high rolling Asians, but there are always a few farangs like myself there as well. The big incentive to come to this bar is obviously the large number of good looking FL's that are present there every night. The girls are Cambodian and all the FL's in Darling Darling are there for pick up. There is no doubt about that and no games. You will never hear a girl say she is on her "mens" here and they are not looking for drinks per se. Just start up a conversation with any available girl you like. $100 for Short Time is the price. The girls will not come down from that. They would rather head over to Pontoon around 3am to try their luck there if they can't land a customer at DD. The girls dress upscale, are well coiffed, and on average look better than most hostess girls, but not all. I have picked up a number of great girls here and most have given me the GFE. A funny thing is after the first night ST session, my favorite girls wanted to see me again and on the 2nd night they always forgot about the ST and gave me LT for the same price without my asking. Go figure Khmer girls. They are a mystery to me. That is part of their charm. I still like hanging out in my favorite hostess bars early in the evening, say from 8:30 to 10:30, but if I don't find any hostess girls worth barfining I happily head over to Darling Darling around 11pm. It is my Ace in the Hole when I am visiting Phnom Penh.

Went to several hostess bars on Street 136 and 104 last night. In those bars, lady drinks went up from $3 to $3.50, with the girl getting $1.50 instead of $1.

If you care about that drink, you should ask her "do you barfine?" before you buy her that drink.

The hostess bar usually have games behind the bar, such as connect 4 and dice games.

You can ask the girl to massage you. You can also probably grab her ass, over her clothes. You can also ask a girl, who speaks English well, to be a translator (although this will add to the cost).

To reduce your cost, you can just give her tips (dollar bills) and not buy lady drinks.

- There was a decent looking young (18 or 19) girl at Zanibar on Street 104. Her sister said she was a virgin and didn't barfine. I asked if she "yum yum". They just laughed.

These are great tactics Green Bud that I will deploy next month and thanks for the update on the increased costs. I don't mind buying rounds of drinks but would always get pissed when I went to barfine the now drunk hottie, and the, No, she no go ensues!

US $ widely used, bars, girls and tuk drivers all prefer same; just bring small denominations.

The de-facto currency is the US dollar. The ATMs dispense US dollars. Someone mentioned that some ATMs dispense both US dollar and Riel. I haven't seen that.

The local currency the Riel, is used as change for a dollar, and it is also used as currency in the local markets (since local people are paid in Riel). Local market is defined as the outdoor markets. Malls and high end products are priced in US dollars.

The quick exchange number is 4000 Riel for $1. The market rate is 4000 something. Around 4060 (it varies). You can gain couple of percent if you exchange the US dollar for Riel. You can exchange it at the exchange booths / houses. They are around everywhere. Decent rates are around the Central Market.

Some bars / restaurants will only accept Riel at 4100 to $1, so you will lose a little in the exchange rate.

Hence...You can pay with Riel in order to save couple of percent. But some places won't accept Riel at the 4000 rate. I am assuming the girls won't complain.

I recently stayed in a nice hotel just past Independance monument. Was in PP for about 5 days. Took tuk tuk ecvery day to and from riverside. Was $2 every time. Never pid more. I know its only $1 difference but no need to over pay. My hotel even had a map showing the area that's a $2 charge. (a big circle from Independence covering all of riverside).
