Hi all,

I'll be staying in Gloria near tecom during the coming week, would appreciate if anybody has experience with this hotel and area to provide hints.

The Accor Group policy is really confusing Max. Ibis, Novotel and Pullman Deira City Centre are OK with ID as I have seen many WG / enthusiastic amateur with a punter at reception etc.

Clearly the earlier you arrive the better, wandering in at 3 am with a lady who is dressed as a WG can be a cause of frustration unless she is your girlfriend and she dresses like that all the time LOL (which would not worry me at all as I need to learn new things!

You are right WR. Most of the green hotels get frustrated if someone bring a WG after 1 or 2 am. Some of my favorite green hotels gave me a hard time when I bring a WG during these times!

I plan to stay in this hotel for 7 days in December. Does anyone have any recent experience with the hotel. Read couple of old reports mentioning it as green.

A 3 star very popular chain in the US under the Hilton brand just entered Dubai recently. Both their places are green, and one is just across the street from a LE office (.

Which of the above hotels are green?

Been in both recently, both green but much depends what time you appear - 3 am is not good, 9 pm much better. Security will still watch, ask, maybe ID but I saw a few girls in both hotels.

Suggest you go with Sheraton Creek. I think ja Marriot Deira is red. Sheraton is green.

What was the time you took the girls? Most of the reports mention that LMA remains green till 2 AM and then becomes Red.

That is what I was told. However, I was able to take the first girl on day 1 after 0200 (around 3). I was in the Royal club section. I am to understand the 0200 am rule applied to the old building. Even the day 2 adventure was after 2 maybe 0210 hrs. If I am not mistaken.

I stayed at the LMA and had no problem bringing two girls back. One was in the afternoon and the other was at 11 pm. I did notice increased security around midnight but didn't notice that they stopped people from bringing girls to their room. Maybe the the turn red was only a short-term anomaly and we are back to normal.

Stayed two nights at Sheraton Creek and was able to bring girls (or have them visit) both nights. My girls came around 10 pm and stayed overnight and were never hassled. Just tell them to take a left off the escalator and they can completely avoid the reception area. I did notice one guy get turned away around 1 am with a girl that was noticeably a hooker. So I guess it is easily possible at this hotel if you have a girl visit relatively early and ask her to dress in normal clothes.

JW Marquis was red. I saw numerous guys get stopped and turned away. The only possibility is to give a girls a second card (needed to access the elevator) and have come 15 minutes after you have entered. I decided it would be easier to visit a couple AMPS instead of dealing with the hotel.

Can confirm that LMD is green as always.

Haven't seen any guys being sent back with their girls.

Also Jules Bar is still the same like before with some talent hanging around there.

Totally Green. Stayed there last week and no problems all 5 nights I took a different girl.
