Anyone know of the current state of Sea Me Spring Too in regard to surrounding construction and noise? I plan to stay there for a few nights for New Years; however, tend to sleep in quite late.

I am planning a trip to Pattaya in Feb 2016 with a friend, I did some research and narrowed down to following list:

Estimate Cost for 2 rooms for 5 days.

Citin Garden Resort $ 300 Include Breakfast.

Bombay Magic Suites $ 240 no breakfast.

B2 South Pattaya $ 240 Include Breakfast.

Super Bed Otel $ 225 no breakfast.

Manita Boutique $ 360 no breakfast.

Sunshine $ 360 NO breakfast.

Golden Sea Pattaya $ 330 Include Breakfast.

Need suggestion if this is OK?

They're all OK if they meet your needs, but you never mentioned your needs so we're all in the dark as to what kind of "suggestion" you're expecting from the ISG community. Is it cost, breakfast, location, GF, decor, room size, etc?

In September a buddy and I had adjoining suites at the penthouse hotel. Each room had its own jacuzzi and stripper pole. About a 5 minute walk from walking street and 100 meters to the beach. Breakfast is included. I would call it a 4 star hotel definitely not a 5 star but fun place.

Have a look at http://thehotelvista.com I have never stayed there but it has some connecting rooms. It bills itself as a new luxury hotel but the rates seem reasonable. I don't believe I have ever read a review here about this hotel.

Gal I got with me at whitehouse condotel was 20 yr old and no questions were asked. However she was denied entry at 808 as their criteria is 25+. Strange but true.

I have met at least two girls in Tim's Bar (which is the bar across the street and owned by Intimate) attached to Fourteen Again who were 18 and 19 respectively (this was 2 years back). One of the girls I asked to barfine and she apologized that it her time of the month. So these bars do hire staff under 20, but may be these girls bar fine on an irregular basis.

Ah yes, but then you didn't read "between my lines": I very deliberately wrote "they are LEGALLY required to apply". I would not be at all surprised if a few girls in their late teens (18-19 yo) appear in Tim's Bar, which from the bar's perspective is fine as long as those girls then disappear into the silent night of Pattaya with a client. However, if they cross the street to the hotel and the policy shows up, then they would be just soooOO busted.

Yeah, the only problem with The Intimate Hotel is that they have raised the age requirement for overnight guests. In this hotel it's 20 yo as opposed to the usual 18 yo. If you're into particularly young girls (personally I'm not) this could be a discouraging factor. I'm not quite sure why they do this. My best guess would be that, while the legal age for sex business is 18 in Thailand, the bars are not allowed to hire "staff" younger than 20. As far as I understand The Intimate Hotel is under the same management as the coyote bar across the street, and they may fear trouble with the law if they don't apply the same standards to their hotel as they are legally required to apply to their bar.

I have stayed at the Fifth Jomtien myself, although this was nearly 2 years ago. I can vouch that it was girl friendly then. I stayed there for 5 nights and had at least 2 visitors per day. On one occasion I had 2 girls with me in the room at the same time too. No one raised an eyebrow. If things have changed for the worse, I am not aware. Good to know. Thanks Jean. Have a good stay.

I can confirm unless it changed just this month that the Fifth Jomtien is still guest friendly.

Interestingly, Fifth Jomtien is no longer guest-friendly according to bargirlfriendlyhotels dot com!
