I would advocate a slightly different strategy than the others. I would recommend: 1) Go to a nice go-go bar at 11 pm. The reason is that 90% of the action at Insomnia / I-bar is eye contact in the first 3 seconds of walking past the girl, so your unconscious mind must be thinking about nothing but sex. Not how you are dressed, what drink you will order, where to go dancing: just sex. This is achieved by looking at naked bodies for 25 minutes (time for one drink).

2) Get into Insomnia a bit before midnight. Then your first drink will be half price. There isn't really that much dancing going on at that time, it's more like a bar with loud music. Make one round, if no action go down the back stairs to the I-Bar and do the same. Don't force the game, let the game come to you and happen by itself. I personally pay more attention to tables with 2-4 girls. They are definitely on the take. They go out together for mutual protection. Is this guy a creep? I'm leaving with him now, is that OK? There's always one girl who gives the OK to the other before she leaves with you.

I have only been to Pattaya once before and that was nearly 15 years ago. In my mid 50's now. So what's a good time to go, for someone like me to Ibar or Insomnia or one of the otter discos / dance clubs? I dress pretty decent / hip and love to dance to all kinds of music like pop, hip hop, rap, rock etc. Even now, sometimes when I dance at night (I'm a night owl and prefer the 11 pm- 5 am hours) either in the USA / home or in Brazil or Peru etc I seem to attract attention from some (key word being some) of the young chicks, even the bartender chicks in the USA who see me often and seem to dig me.

So, I guess the question is, for someone with my kind of profile and Hispanic or Brazilian looking guy, what's the best time to go to say a place like I Bar or Insomnia or other dance clubs? What are my chances with the freelancers in general (statistically speaking) and any other clubs besides Ibar / Insomnia that I should hit?

The ladies come back in sexy dinner dresses. So we feel the need to wine and dine them, sorry but we are gentlemen. Too late for food but you get all these street food which the gals love to munch. They buy a ton of stuff which I feel is too much for 2 gals to eat. Turned out they were planning for our breakfasts! Such nice kids. Service was superb once back in sack. Definitely recommended. I got to see their IDs at the reception and they are 25-26. Perfect for our fantasies. Stayed back till 8 am and invited us to bike rides later in the day. Good GFE. But some nights I am fine with it only cause in London and Paris they tend to have a lot of that crap and I've gotten used to it.

And yeah, I noticed on YouTube that Ibar rectangular shape is not too conducive for dancing. But, from what I saw 808 seems to be a better fit for me, certainly the music seems to be. Any other suggestions nearby so that I can walk up and back on the same night? Also, was thinking of getting the VIP Card at Insomnia. Ibar. It is worth it? Seems like if I go there 10 times it would more than pay for itself. Since I don't like to drink beer and only Bacardi and Diet Coke, with the discounts looks like I would break even in about 2-3 nights? If you are around, Ill buy a bottle of Bacardi a couple of nights. Since I have also enjoyed your posts on the DR, Brasil and Lima forums.

I plan to pretty much emerge only at night. Except for real massages daily and maybe a soapie on a few days, before some great Thai lunches. I don't like to drink before 11 pm because I like to keep going past 4 am and I just enjoy dancing like a crazy dude. LOL.

You can check out I Bar / Insomnia about 11 pm. Since you are coming during low season, it may not be crowded at 11, but there are usually plenty of girls there by that time. Plus they continue to come in all night. If you do arrive at 11 and it's not to you liking, go have a drink or two at one of the nearby bars and scope out the ladies coming and going. You might find one walking by and get her number.

Some of the other clubs don't get going until after midnight. Especially now in low season.

The best time to go to discos is 1am. If you go any earlier then they will be empty. Don't know how you will like Insomnia. It is like hard techno and EDM with a lot of bass and a lot of flashing lights. My 43 year old heart and eyes can not take it. But iBar downstairs is good. You don't really dance at iBar. Hence the "Bar" in the name. There are many discos and all are free to get into so just go to all of them and decide which you like best.

I would say your chance with freelancers is 80%. The reason being is that a lot of chicks just want to party and drink with their friends sometimes. A chick in 808 told me the other night that we would leave together at 4:30 but when the time came she wanted to keep drinking with her ladyboy friends.

Your best bet is to find someone who is alone. Then I would say your chance is 100%. After wasting my time with that chick I took one home who was alone and had asked me to leave with her earlier. When the other girl saw she told the girl not to leave with me because I am a bad man. (A lot of chicks know me and come up and talk to me in the club so the chick assumed whatever.) Since then though the chick who did not want to come has been hitting me up on Line. The chick that did come is in the picture. She was really fun. 1000 baht LT as usual.

I have RTTF quite a bit, but still don't quite know what to expect, as I am more of freelancer guy and in Latin American countries I stay focused on the Latin Cupid girls, even though I am not Latin American and don't speak Spanish either! LOL. I generally go to Latin Countries with about 25-50 contacts that I develop ahead of time via Latin Cupid! LOL. And usually when I meet these contacts at a dance club they seem to also find me semi attractive and I score 95 % of time, and without ever talking about money ahead of time.

I tend to avoid real pros and I also tend to be quite picky and stick to under 23 and have not had much of a problem in dance clubs even at my sorry age! Haha! 2 options to get back to your hotel. Fastest way is to grab a motorbike taxi (about 100 baht). Otherwise, just a short walk to 2nd road and get the baht bus (20 baht for two people).

Daytime action, in addition to Soi 6.
Check out Soi honey (next street over from LK Metro) just off soi buakhao.
Soi Chaloem Phrakiat (the street next to Soi Lengkee).
Walk down Soi 13/1 and 13/2.

Baht bus is set at 20 baht for 2 and girls are fine with this given VT6 is on the main baht bus route. I've also taken a taxi for 100 baht which is always appreciated by the girls.

Daytime options. As you said soi 6 and Kinaree. Other options are the soapies on 2nd near soi 6, Sabai Dee, Sabai Room, Honey 2, Rasputin. There is also Honey 1 really close to VT6.

I am not an expert, but I assume you can get specific pointers on how to do that from researching this forum. I believe that getting one easy pop out of the way mid-day takes a lot of the pressure from having to negotiate Walking Street at midnight.

The way I would do it if I were you: 1) go to Skyfall to warm up; 2) go to Insomnia / I-Bar to check out the freelancers; 3) go to Happy A go-go for a sure thing. If this doesn't work, go to Baccara or Airline. I would advise checking out Insomnia / I-bar once between every go-go bars. I've been there at least a dozen times and never been charged an entrance fee, but I don't know their full policy. Since you like walking, you can also go up and down Beach Road at least once during the night. You may find something to your liking.

I think that by alternating between go-go bars that have lookers (like Skyfall and Sensations), go-go bars that have girl that want to jump on your cock (like Happy and Airline), freelancers in a bar (IBar / Insomnia) and freelancers on the street (Beach Road), you will maximize your chances of happiness and fulfillment. I'll give I-bar a try not sure really sure about getting a girl at the clubs based on my good looks and charm. I'm not old but not fit these days.
