Will be in Dubai in a couple weeks, if anyone wants to meet up the night of the 15th I am a very easy going wingman. Per tradition, I try to stay up all night on arrival to beat jet lag. Not much to offer on Dubai per say (which is why it would be nice to join up with some more experienced gents) but would be happy to buy some drinks / cabs. More experience in other areas of the world, mainly Latin America. Will be staying at The Taj, which is red, I think, so looking to get out and explore a bit.

Which Taj one is in Deira (which is the old one) and the New one is in Business bay bit I suspect both are red.

Although whilst I was at the New Taj at the new bar "Treehouse' noticed a few lovely ladies who were most def WGs; but that doe snot mean the hotels in house guest policy would be Green.

Anyway since you got great help from Alex and others whom you referred to as true 'gents" do you wish to follow up with a report on your visit to Ratsky or did you not go. Would be great to here of your experience.

The point you raise OR is valid, lots of promises to FR but they never materialize. I surmise that they are fantasists living at home with mommy and typing one handed. They can boast to they close circle of friends (likely the teddy bears on their bed) that they have lots of hot chicks etc LOL.

Generally the manager class does not FR but is great at posting a FR saying "I will report once you send the contacts" - I even get PMs like that.

MD had the contact and by now should have been but again nothing and a look at FR history always reveals the true manager.

I was recently in Ratsky and nothing much to report, the quality of pinays is falling and is why I will likely import when am back or just enjoy where I am now much to chagrin of Joe K, Sylvan et al.

So over to MD. Will he surprise and contradict and challenge us by posting a decent FR or prove us right LOL.

Ratsky's it is at the Fortune Karama Hotel in Karama in Bur Dubai: If you want to try a bit Better Filli's try the Club 7 at the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel also in Bur Dubai:

There is one more place called Boracoy or something like that in Deira but that is second hand info you can check it out and enlighten us all about this place.

Yes fortune karama is the best bet with ratsky a best bet aft 10 pm and Tantra another club in the same place opens up in the late eve from 7 to 9 as place for buffet exclusively for fillip. So want to hunt the hungry ones or the ones who are satisfied by the buffet or later in the night dancing. Karama hotel is the place.

It should not have happened, one wonders why they didn't divert.

Plenty of fuel, lot of hassle for SLF and crew to go to a different airport, why not wait which is what they did, 1 hour 40 of holding.

Yes I do work in the aviation industry and it's still the safest form of travel apart from elevators.

I don't dispute either of your claims. And I'm in the same industry as well, since leaving school.

It should not have happened, one wonders why they didn't divert. I suspect that decision may have been a result of higher authority control. Typically what is happening across the board with budgetary and cost cuts. We may never really know the root cause, but minimum training to cut costs and reduction in pay packages means less experienced and it certainly is a contributer to safety issues. Its one of the major concerns in safety matters.

And for those wondering why this is brought into this forum, what's the chance that majority of the women on that flight would be WGs.
