It's the same with classes at school, or office work environments, or any group really.

You know, much is said on these boards about not judging an entire venue, bar or shop by the behavior or performance of just one girl working there. I understand that intellectually. But I have also noticed there is such a thing as what I would call "Venue Culture". That is, a certain culture of behavior or performance level is developed in a venue due to whatever certain popular or charismatic girls boast about being able to get paid for doing as little as possible. Other girls hearing the glory of those war stories begin to believe they ought to be paid such and such amount of money for doing nothing or while refusing to do certain things as well. I think you are spot on. Always kind of been this way. The tone is influenced by the gals but the mamasan can certainly have an effect as well. Sadly with most venues these days the culture is set by the workers and is for the workers not the customers. I harken back to the glory days of Midnight Bar in the early '00's when it was managed by Aussie Mark. He specifically told the gals that if they ever showed any annoyance towards punters who take different ladies each night or if they got angry at a customer or another gal when a guy switched they were fired. Gals were told to expect guys to butterfly. He operated a customer centric bar and I would say it was the most fun you could have on the soi in those days. As long as dudes except what they get and don't complain and vote with their feet; service will get worse.

Some are, but not close to half as I have seen it. But you might have only been using that figure as an expression. There definitely are some ladyboys working in some of those shops. Ladyboys probably represent no more than 1 in 5 of the service providers in the shops inside the Villa Market arcade, some shops do not employ any. But there are a couple of shops in the small sub-soi alley area beyond the Villa Market arcade that have mostly ladyboys, maybe 4-5 working in a couple of those shops, while most of the other shops employ none or maybe one.

I'll put it mildly, the Crazy House bar is run by heartless scum and their management style will fuck the Thai bar scene up to where I can just stay home and get abused there if that's what I want. I sure as fuck don't need 14 hours of plane torture to get fucked over in Thailand when I have that a home.

In the past I have taken 4 or 5 ladies from this place and it seems to be getting more & more cut throat as time rolls on.
